Ugh...I haven't weighed in quite some time. But I can tell I've gained weight just by the way my clothes fit. It's discouraging, yet I know it's my own fault. My eating is just bad. Bad, bad, bad. I need to get back to my plan because I know it works for me. I sort of started back on it yesterday and plan on getting back fully this week.

To clarify:

Little to no meat. It just does not agree with my stomach anymore, but I do get a craving every once in awhile.

No grains

No refined sugar

Dairy in moderation

Fish is good

All vegetable are good

Need to wean myself off of the caffeine again. I was doing really well, then started drinking caffeine free sodas and that led directly to caffeine again. Must stop.

Jenn, hope this week back on plan goes well!
Does green tea affects you the same way? I thankfully don't drink any tea or coffee but sometimes I wish I did, as they say caffeine is a natural appetite suppressor.

Marika-caffeine doesn't actually affect me at all. I just like to drink Coke. Regular Coke. Not diet or caffeine free or anything like that because it doesn't taste the same.

I did pretty well today. Not fabulous, but okay. I did have a cheeseburger for lunch because I've been wanting a cheeseburger for awhile, but it was terrible. Way to salty for my taste buds.

Other than that I just ate vegetables and some dairy.

Upped my water intake pretty seriously too. I'll be peeing all night!

Going to weigh in the morning.

Weighed this morning and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would. Don't get me wrong, it was still bad. Just not as bad. I thought for sure I would be at my starting point or even over it, but I am at 217.8.

Started this morning off with some pomegranate kefir mixed with a bit of low fat milk. I'm still full

Not sure what lunch will be. Maybe a salmon pattie.

I am making a family favorite for supper, but it is a beef concoction served over rice so I will be having a baked potato.

I will do this.

Lunch ended up being two whole eggs, deviled with a bit of mayo and squirt of mustard. Delicious! May take a yogurt to "work" with me when I go volunteer.

So yesterday wasn't too bad. I did have a little bit of chocolate, so I wasn't completely clean, but I did pretty well considering! I had a few other hiccups as well, but nothing I'm beating myself up over.

This morning I was 217.2, so down .6. Any downward motion is good! I am already planning on enjoying Thanksgiving (read...a roll and some carrot casserole that has cream soup in it. Oh, and stuffing! But I'm making that gluten free In fact, I may make some gluten free rolls. I think I will. I am also making a gf, sf pumpkin swirl cheesecake, so I'm good there too. And I can thankfully eat the mashed potatoes!)

Today...Thinks I'm going to try and make it a "Down Day"...though I use that term loosely. I've had a water and some Salted Caramel Chai Tea (yes, it has sugar in it, but dang it! It's good. And I was cold. It's not an everyday thing though.)

Not sure what the rest of the day will be. Probably some roasted potatoes at supper, but other than that, not sure.

Ate a bit too much lunch but it was all "good" (mostly). The egg drop soup was probably the worst thing. Also had a small salad and sashimi that was delicious!

Did not weigh this morning as I overslept.

Hungry though, so I think I'm going to have some kefir with milk.

Not sure about the rest of the day. I'm volunteering at the middle school. Might get a bowl of lobster bisque.

Haven't weighed in a few days...been super busy.

I've been doing better eating wise, but not as clean as I'd like to be. I am working hard on it though. Breaking the soda habit is much harder this time around!

Weighed this morning and I'm still at 217.2. At least I haven't gained!

Already planning for Thursday. I must have stuffing. Must. And I know I will be eating other bad foods. Like my mom's carrot casserole that has canned soup in it. *sigh* I'll just have a spoonful

Did fairly well today. Didn't over do at all and pretty much stayed on plan, though I did eat some grains.

I am giving myself tomorrow and Saturday to get leftovers out of my system and going back to my strict "rules" on Sunday.

So we got a new house. Been so busy with that (there's a lot of work that needs to be done on it). Also, TOM showed up today, so no weighing.

I'm determined though, to weigh less at Christmas than I do right now.

I've mostly gotten my eating under control, though I'm finding it harder to give up soda this go around. It's happening. Just taking longer.

Starting tomorrow, I think I will go back JUDDDD rotations, though I may hold off until TOM is gone as I tend to get hungrier when that's going on. We'll see how I feel on Tuesday...lol!

Thanks, Marika!

I did fairly well today. A few hiccups, but nothing major.

I did goof though. I was seriously contemplating a DD tomorrow, but I forgot tomorrow is my monthly breakfast with my MIL and my mother. I'm going to try and make the best choices possible, but I know my calorie limit will probably go over, though not by much.

Thanks, Monica!

I had typed up a reply yesterday and then lost it. Wasn't about to write it again! lol!

I have gained slightly, but I think it is mostly due to TOM.

Still trying to get back on track, though I am doing better and better each day. My main problem right now (and has been for quite some time) is not eating enough. Yesterday I had a baked potato from Jason's Deli. Now, this is a huge potato. Quite large. Had it with butter and cheese. But that was all I ate yesterday. All day. Must do better in that regard.

Other than that, just busy, busy, busy. Can't believe it is almost Christmas!

Sometimes it's a struggle, Monica! With the amount I eat you would think I would weigh nothing, but it's the opposite!

I've decided to tweak my plan a bit more and go even closer to paleo. Cutting down on potatoes to an occasional treat and *gasp* eliminating dairy. Here's the breakdown:

Nuts (limited to once a week)
Berries (also limited to once a week. Maybe twice)
Seeds
Eggs
Fish (limited to two or three times a week)
Leafy greens
Vegetables (cucumbers, carrots, peppers, squash)

As I (hopefully) lose weight, I will add in some other fruits on UD's and perhaps limited cheese.

Going to try and get back into rotations. This isn't a good week as I have a few obligations going on. Am going to do my best to stick with it though!

Awesome list Jenn. All those foods are powerhouse of nutrients. I do better without dairy as well. I can have occasional yogurt, but that's just about it.

Thanks, Marika! I love my cheese so much, but I've got to do something! I'm hoping to add in more fruit at the beginning of the year too. Right now it's just pomegranate seeds.

Lunch-1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds, 1/2 cup salad, 1/2 tsp sunflower oil, dash of salt

snack-1 oz of peanuts. It was a moment of weakness as I was in the car and hungry and that's all there was.

Supper was 4 oz tilapia pan fried in coconut oil with breadless bread crumbs. I made a batch a few weeks ago and it needs to be used up...only problem is, it contains cheese. Not a lot comparatively, but still. Not beating myself up though. In fact, I'll probably use more on Wednesday or Friday. Anyway, I also had some baby carrots.

My total calories for the day:1163. I am wanting just a little something sweet, but there is nothing that fits the bill right now. I could probably make something with almond milk, but I want to be as clean as I can right now. But I'm good with my calorie count. It's definitely more than what I usually eat. lol.

217.2. I know that's what I was a few days ago, but I think I had gained a little over Thanksgiving, so I'm happy with it (for right now!)

Today I am feeling really yucky. I don't know if it is weather related (rain) or diet related (detoxing). I was pretty proud of myself yesterday. Even though it was an UD, I did not have any wheat, sugar, butter, or cheese. And NO SODA! That was big. Could also be why I have a headache.

Currently I am not hungry at all. Supposed to go to lunch at Olive Garden, but not sure that I will go. I'm just not feeling well. If I do go, my plan is to just have a salad.

Thanks, Monica!

I'm feeling a little better. I took some Excedrin and went back to bed, so my headache mostly went away. I decided against going to Olive Garden as I'm just not up to it. It was a Christmas luncheon for a group I'm in. Not a big Olive Garden fan anyway

I know where we are going for supper Christmas Eve and I'm trying to figure out what to eat. It's a steak place, but they have seafood too. I'm already thinking of getting a Greek salad, because there's is so good, but I don't know that I'll be up to having cheese by that point. I guess I could give it to the kids, but...well, it's feta! One of my favorites! They also have a crab dish that is soooo good, but it has butter. *sigh* I'm sure I will figure out something!

So far, the water and Excedrin are all I've had.

I had to go to the store and bought some salad shrimp with every intent of coming home and making a salad, but not that hungry. Might still make one, but I don't have to eat on DD's, right? Need to drink some more water though.

Thanks, Marika!

I'm feeling mostly better.

I ended up having some salad shrimp and a boneless, skinless, thin cut chicken breast. Both were delicious! I figured I needed the protein. Not sure how well the chicken is going to sit with me. So far I've not had problems with it, but I never had problems with meat before until recently, so we shall see.

Looking forward to my UD tomorrow.

This is only the second day since I've a)started back to JUDDD and b)changed my diet (no dairy). I was out with my DH and a friend tonight and they decided they wanted to go get ice cream. Now, today also happens to be a DD (not that it mattered...no dairy). In the past I would have forgone the fact that it was a DD, I mean hey, it's only the second day. I can get back on track tomorrow, right? But I really didn't want to have the dairy or sugar.

So, I had three strawberries (it is a DD after all!) and a bottle of water! So proud of myself!
