Ended up going to Uno's for supper. Wasn't where I wanted to go, but it was okay. I had salmon (which was slightly overcooked), mashed potatoes, a little broccoli (also overcooked), and water. Feeling a little gassy (wonder if it's from the broccoli. I prefer it raw and usually have no problems)

Ugh. Up again today. So glad it is a DD. I don't know if I will eat anything or not. Currently I'm not hungry, so we shall see!

Just remember--this is the way of JUDDD. You have to average your weight over a week or more to see if it's moving the right direction. The first time I did JUDDD, I only weighed every other Friday so I wouldn't freak out! I'm sure you're moving in a good direction, but you know it's 2 steps forward, one step back.

(And broccoli does TERRIBLE things to my gut. In fact, I hardly ever eat it because it bloats me so horribly. So I'm betting your culprit was the broccoli! )

So I was down two pounds today Just two more to go to the weight I was when I left for my trip. Slowly but surely

I'm very comfortable with my WOE and can't imagine eating any other way now. I really love it.

And...as a side note (and a positive one!) a skirt and blouse I bought at the beginning of the month (thrifted) that didn't quite fit when I got them home, now fit! The skirt...I would like to lose just a bit more before wearing it, but the blouse is great!

No change, but since yesterday was an UD, that's okay. All set for my DD today.

On the menu:

1 deviled egg (two halves)
Baked potato (most likely with butter and a little cheese)
Ice tea

After a rather dismal DD (I had hush puppies for goodness sake!) I woke up to a 2 pound loss!!! I am back to what I weighed before the trip So happy and excited! Now, if it just continues to move down.

UD today

Not sure of what I will be eating. I'm thinking of making some Fudgey grain free brownies though

Down another 1.2! Currently I'm 209.6 So happy!!!! Keep going down; keep going down.

DD today. I'm making a new recipe for supper tonight and though I usually stay away from meat, I may have a bite just to try it. Other than that, I think I will have a yogurt sometime this morning and then some creamed spinach and roasted red potatoes at supper.

Stayed the same today, which was fine. Enjoying my UD today...

Had sugared peaches for breakfast and then for lunch, DH and I went out for our anniversary.

We went to a local place and had Irish Nachos as an appetizer (fantastic...they make their own chip. So good!) and then I had a Caprese salad with ahi tuna. Couldn't finish it all, so I will most likely have the rest for supper and then maybe half of a Klondike (or maybe a whole! )

Happy anniversary! I think going out for your largest meal at lunch is a great idea. It's less crowded, cheaper, and gives your metabolism the better part of the day to work on the food you ate! Eating a huge meal at night is a recipe for heartburn, for me.

A few days ago I was up a pound to 210.6. Not too concerned, just kept doing what I'm doing. My scale today didn't know what to think...I always weigh more than once and once I get the same "reading" three times in a row, I take it. Today I was 210.6, .4, .2, .6 again, 209.8, 210.4...it was all over the place. Will try again tomorrow!

So far, so good. Had a lovely morning at church and then went to the grocer and the dollar store. Trying a new chicken recipe for supper tonight. Also I decided to have a little "back to school" party for the kids next Monday (hence the trip to the dollar store)

It's a DD today, however, I had a bowl of chocolate mousse for breakfast. SO good! Dairy free, refined sugar free...absolutely delicious! Lots of protein too. Next item to eat (most likely around supper time) will be a baked potato with butter and cheese.

Jenn, my scale also goes bananas lately. I don't know what it means. Maybe it needs new batteries

Have a great week ahead!

Thanks, Ladies!

I think my scale is broken...no, not really, but it has not budged in several days! Ready for it to start going down again. I know it will, but the waiting is frustrating!

Monica-here's the recipe for the spinach!

The spinach is a recipe that I got from here a very long time ago, but I've since tweaked it a bit. It has a ton of cheese!

Creamed Spinach

2 bags of frozen spinach
1 8oz block sharp cheddar
1 8oz block colby-jack
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup butter

Prep:
Defrost your spinach and squeeze all the water out. Shred your cheeses and mix them together. You won't be using all of it, but I like the flavor of the mix.

The Spinach:
Over medium high heat, melt the butter and cream cheese together. Once the mixture is smooth, add your spinach a little at a time, breaking up the clumps and ensuring it's all getting mixed into the sauce. Once all of the spinach is incorporated, add your cheese. Again, a little at a time. I usually put about 3/4 of the cheese in total. Not all of the cheese will melt completely. So, so good!

I hope you try and enjoy!

You are quite welcome!

Bouncing right now. *sigh* I'm not worried, but it is frustrating and annoying!

Been super busy with getting ready for back to school.

Will try and pop in later

Up a bit which is annoying. TOM is here though, so I think that has something to do with it. Also don't think I have been eating enough on my UD's, although I ate a ton yesterday, it just wasn't stuff I should have eaten. That's probably contributing too.

I've gotten two out the door and will be putting two on the bus shortly. Need to finish getting ready and get a few things done.

So glad to be getting back into a routine!

Weight is still up a bit, but I'm too busy to really worry about it. Not that I'm not worrying about it, but as long as it doesn't get out of hand (which it's not), there are other things that I need to take care of.

Will be glad when September is over. Too much going on as things start up!
