Jenn - I have struggled lately. I seem hungry all that time! For me, I think it is both physical and mental. Not sure how to get my HEAD back in the game!

Monica-I am sorry to hear you are still struggling!

Mine is PMS related...my sweet tooth always rears its ugly head at this time. Yesterday I ate four (!) homemade peanut butter cookies! Ugh!

It seems like a lot of us want to eat more when we reach Onederland. Crazy, it seems kind of self defeating. PMS on top of it...not easy! But you'll beat it. I've been wanting to eat the past couple of days too. So far I've been able to fight it, but if it's PMS, I hope TOM comes soon.

Hey Ladies!

Doing much better now that TOM showed up. Sweet tooth is still a little crazy, but I only want chocolate. Easy for me to eat just a little of that, although it does add up!

Weight is bouncing between 199 and 200. I know a loss is right around the corner. I just need to keep at it and before I know it, the 90's will be a memory

Today is a DD. So not hungry at all. I am nursing a small ginger ale (my only vice I have currently). May have a little boiled chicken later. There was a great deal on whole chickens the last time I went to the store and I picked a few up. Cooked them last night (boiled) and am going to pick them today to freeze the meat for later meals for the family. I do okay with small amounts of poultry, so while I'm picking, I will probably eat some. lol. Going to make chicken stock with the bones. Getting my money's worth from those chickens! ha!

It snowed last night...we got about 6 inches, which is a lot for here. It's just beautiful! Kids, of course, out of school.

Off to enjoy the day!

Bounces still happening, but it's okay. Having a "clean" UD today and maybe a loss tomorrow? We'll see!

B-was busy and didn't really eat. Had one mini chocolate covered doughnut and a small ginger ale

L-two whole (four halves) deviled eggs, a little less than 1/4 c almonds, water

Supper-I'm thinking crab cakes, but I may have salmon. Cucumber with a bit of mayo.

Been busy, busy, busy lately!

Yesterday took the kids sledding and then youngest son and I had a Pack meeting for scouts making bagged lunches for homeless. Today is oldest son's birthday and we were out running errands, spending time together. Oldest daughter was supposed to have an archery tournament today, but it was cancelled.

Tomorrow I work Sunday School, then doing some work at the new house. And the super bowl is tomorrow too!

Hopefully kids will be back in school on Monday and stay there all week! lol!

Weight still bouncing a bit, but not going higher than 200 when it goes up. Had buffet tonight, so it may be a touch higher tomorrow because of sodium, though I did drink lots of water.

Off to bed! Tired!

Eep! I know it's bad choices catching up to me. Plan is to have a good, clean DD and see if that helps. I've been *really* bad about my water consumption lately. That needs to be fixed asap too!

Yeah, don't sweat that weight bounce, Jenn. You know what to do - you've got this!

I'd love the crab cake recipe. I never buy crab, because I don't know what to do with it. You could help me fill this void in my cooking repertoire!

Hello! Long time, I know...it's been a crazy, super busy two weeks! My eating has not been the best and I haven't really been able to eat the way I like. Not surprisingly my weight has gone up. Surprising it was not as mush as I thought it would be!

I will pm with a link to the crabcake recipe later today or tomorrow. And Monica, don't worry...it is GF! The original recipe calls for salmon, but I sub a can of crab all the time. Either way is fantastic!

Off to make chocolate pancakes for my kiddos. Be back later!

You're weight is holding nicely, considering 2 weeks of craziness, so good work! Thanks for that recipe, and I have a can of crab in my pantry, so I'll be trying it!

Happy Valentine's Day, Jenn!

Speaking of that can of crab, do you guys use canned goods after their best by date? My crab is a bit out of date - actually it is dated 2011. I know, I should just toss it. But does it really go bad? Just curious what you guys do.

Carol-I would toss it! It may still be good, but I don't like to chance something like that!

It's a really good recipe. I have made it with both salmon and with crab and either way is delicious. I've also used the breadless breadcrumbs on regular fish fillets with good results.

Monica-the chocolate pancakes were good (I had one!) Kids enjoyed them too!

Back to it today. Eating has gotten really bad lately, but I was at the middle school everyday for two weeks from 10:30-until either 3:00 or 4:30, depending on the day. Eating was really all over the place.

Wow...a trip to the beach sounds so lovely...

Of course, I live a half hour from the pacific ocean, but our beaches here are SO COLD, year round. I've put a toe in the water only once or twice in all my years in So Cal. That water is cold. If you look closely, you see that the surfers pretty much always wear wetsuits!

Makes me look back fondly on my years in Florida, where a trip to the beach (especially the gulf side) meant actually getting wet!

Hope you have a wonderful trip. Good job on staying steady. As they say round these parts, slow and steady wins the race!

My carefully planned day did not go so carefully. FIL offered to take MIL and myself out to lunch at Cracker Barrel. I should have been sensible and had the rainbow trout, but I had the open faced roast beef sandwich. It was delicious!

Tired this morning...overslept and forgot to weigh! Had every intention of doing so, went into the bathroom, and just forgot!

Monica-I did feel better, thank you! In fact, I felt so much better that DD flew out the window. I am pmsing...I can feel it. I am tired a lot and hungry all the time and just a bit crampy too. Yuck, yuck, yuck!
