Hi Monica and Wendy I am doing quite well, thanks I am maintaining quite nicely w 4:3, I will have little bounces up and down and I love that I have 2 UDs in a row on weekends...TODAY and TOMORROW!!! I am a person that doesn't love DDs even now. Some people do, but not me...I thought they would grow on me, but no...

I am having an UD of about 1650 cals Going to a hockey tournament and volleyball districts today so am eating out all day. Good thing its an UD, hehehe. I feel bad for my daughter though, she was playing vball on Thursday and dislocated her shoulder...no vball for her today but she still wanted to watch her team play Go Trojans!!

Kim, glad to hear you are enjoying 4:3. I think there is a small percentage of people that like DDs

Hi ToBe Thanks, my daughter is sad about not playing...but she is cheering on her team...and she may be able to play next weekend in Zones We will see...as long as she doesn't swing her arm up

Having a good day so far...going into a Christmas Craft Fair today then my nephew plays hockey after that. I love anything Christmas Soon I will decorate The really exciting thing about Christmas this year is that I am not trying to diet to lose that last 15-20 pounds so I can look decent in a Christmas outfit for our office party...I can go buy a size 8...or 6 and love it!!!!

So...life got in the way of my success again...

Actually, I took a 7 week "pause" with JUDDD and gained back 14 pounds because I ate to an UUAD every day pretty much...the good news is I'm back on track and I've lost 5 pounds of that weight already JUDDD is very forgiving...and easy to do.

My DDs are minimal calories...up to 500 if I need to, UDs are around 1700 calories. My official DD # is 335...and I'm back to regular rotations EOD again.

The first DD back was Jan 1...the day dragged on like nobody's business...OMG! But I made it through and now I know I can pretty much fast for a day and be just fine. I feel strong and successful today...and I know that I CAN DO THIS!!

Tonight our family is going to a friends house for dinner ...my plan is to fast till dinner (water and broth) then have little bits of what I want...my friend is watching her calories too so the meal should be fine

After DD #1 : 154.6

Yesterdays calories: 510
Atkins shake x 2 = 300 calories
Wendys chili (small) = 210 caloreis

I am going to follow this for 2 weeks without cheating and see where I am...

UD calories are 1696

UD today and my calorie target is 1696...
My weight this morning...154.6

So far my cals are 1610 and I'm on the treadmill as I write this ...

I'm planning on a small snack of about 80 cals in an hour...will bring my cals to 1690

Day #2 a SUCCESS!!

Hi Monica!! Thanks for the welcome back... Hope you are doing well!!!!

DD#2 today...

2 atkins shakes=300 cals
1 wendys chili small= 210 cals

=510 cals for the day

Today we had a mini potluck and smoked hamburgers and buns, cheese and coleslaw were brought ...and birthday cake for a co worker. I decided...I can eat whatever tomorrow, and I did not eat any of it. I stuck to my original planned day.... YAY ME!!

Wt this AM: 154.2

UD tomorrow!! ~ 1700 cals

I will ride my bike today as well...going to be 27 C here so a nice day !!!

Wt loss so far...3.2 pounds!!!!

So had a UD yesterday...I didn't know the exact #s for calories so I estimated...

Breakfast shake 150
granola bar 110
lunch at Canadian Brewhouse ...tossed salad w ranch dressing 150 cals? Greek chicken wrap w tzatziki (1/2 a wrap) 700 cals?? 1 Molson 67 w clamato 100 cals? =950
supper...1/2 c corn 50 1.5 c ceasar salad 200 cals 1 small chicken breast 150=400
1/2c raspberries w cool whip 100 ======

1710 calories for the day!! I tried to estimate...???

Today is a DD...plan on 300 cals w 2 shakes so will see how that goes

Wt this AM: 153.8 (small bounce up)

DD #3 yesterday was hard...not sure why, but I was HUNGRY and jittery, almost antsy. I didn't eat breakfast yesterday which was the only difference, I waited till 11:30 and had a shake, then had a babybel cheese at 3:30 and a shake at 5:00. I went to bed at 10:00 and I ate 5 Dorito chips right before bed...no binging though So...I think breakfast is a good idea for me at the present time for DDs, at least for the first 2 weeks.

Calories Yesterday ...390

Today is UD #3...I will enjoy it, yes I will!!!!

Thanks Marika!! I did have an UD bounce this am, but todays DD was so great!! It was effortless...???? I didn't eat breakfast, then went to Starbucks at 12:45 and got a Blended drink for 140 cals, then my family went for a bite after work and I ordered a tossed salad and had vinegar and salt on it, then had one more starbucks for 100 cals...

~275 cals for the day...and I am going to bed soon and I am not ravenous! If the rest of my DDs are like that, I will have no problems

Wt this AM: 154.4

Tomorrow is my official 1 week WI...I am excited to see the "official" number

Hi Marika!! I had a bang on day calorie wise . 1690...how was your UD? Looks like you had a great drop!!!!!! Congrats!!

I weighed in at 153.0 so 3.6 pounds lost officially this week I'm happy with a downward trend and an improved attitude in that I know I'm doing something great for my body . I feel like I'm in a better place today than I was a week ago and I'm happy about that!!

Now onto week 2...

So I had a post UD bounce in weight, then had a DD yesterday that was great Had 240 cals for the day...if I don't eat till lunch then its easier...and wt this am:

151.4 5.2 pound loss so far !!!

Hi Marika!! Hope you are having an awesome DD today!!!!

So I had an UD yesterday, and it was a gooder, had so much food in our staffroom at work...muffins, lasagna, 3 types of cake and Nanaimo bars. EEK!! Then I took my son to A and W and he had chicken wraps and onion rings (I had 3 onion rings) then I caved to some doritos and salsa. Soooooo, lots of calories yesterday, and I was up 3 pounds this morning. But, I definitely had a 1000 cal spread to the day before...and todays DD is super easy!! I have not eaten yet and its 3:00...and I may do a protein shake for supper 150 cals.

I have to learn that just because the food is there on an UD doesn't mean I eat all said food. There. That's it. Live and learn

Today my son had track and field day at school...hot dogs and chips and ice cream available...I didn't want any of it. Honestly I wasn't tempted at all because I wasn't hungry...either SIRT1 gene is in full swing in my body OR I ate so much yesterday that I'm not hungry today...either way, I'm good

I'm glad you had a great DD Marika! Now on to the UD, which I will definitely keep in check today I have a bridal shower to go to, but at the moment I am not hungry, so I will wait a bit to eat breakfast...

My wt this AM: 151.0
Loss so far: 5.6 pounds
DD calories yesterday: 150

I don't have a lot to lose so I know my losses will be slower, but its funny...I tried on some size 8 clothes today and they went on...weren't terribly tight or anything...maybe they are bigger 8s?? anyway, I am happy w that I bought some 11/12 capris 3 weeks ago and they are big now I wanted something to wear that would fit...now they don't (which is a good thing ) I feel like Ive lost inches already...maybe not as much weight on the scale, but inches for sure !!

Hi Marika! I also had a great DD! They are definitely getting easier...I wrestle w head hunger if I don't stay busy, although yesterday and this morning I have a sore throat, had a headache yesterday but its gone this am...so I really wasn't hungry...and this morning I will wait till later to eat bc I'm not hungry now. UD today!!! Yay us!

After 2 weeks of JUDDD I am down 5.2 pounds officially...3.6 last week and 1.6 this week Wt this am: 151.4

Yesterdays cals : about 275

I will keep going w this and see where it takes me
