Peacheys journey to health and fitness...

Here I am again back at start , when I should be working on my big finish ... Well as we all know life happens and sometimes it knocks you down and hard , the only choice I have is to lay down and die or to come out fighting ... I choose to fight... Sooooo here I am after acouple of stints of hcg, larger than I was when I started ... I don't blame hcg, I never stabilized .. I've had a lot of bumps and bruises along the way .. I lost my best friend of 22 years, I talked to her the night before and she assured me that she was coming home .. She never made it .. It hurt and it still hurts today .. Food became the drug of my choice , so here I am .. Starting my journey back at the begining once again but I will win...

What's my game plan? Good old back to the basics Atkins... Induction anyone? Lol One more week on this dreaded night shift I'm sooooo happy to start back being able to sleep in my bed every night ... Thank you Jesus! Another reason I think it was easy for my body to gain was because it was off balance, I had my eating all off course .. I haven't worked nights in about 10 years before now... I HATE WORKING NIGHT'S ! Here's to new beginings...

AWE DEB!!! So sorry for your loss, I also lost my best friend this year.. it really hurts the soul...

I am so happy you are back though!!! Found you!!..

You really cannot go wrong with Atkins.. I love it, I am also doing it my way... Working nights is rough!!! I wish you the best with your plan and this time is it hon!..

Heyyyyy Deb ... Thanks for coming by... Yesss its hard losing her, this is someone I talked to almost everyday . I try to move past the hurt and think about our good times ... It's been rough but I know she wouldn't want me to put my health at risk like this... I've gone through a lot this past year up until a few months ago... I've lost 5 people that were close and it really shook me at the core... Today I'm here and I'm ready to live... I'm tired of feeling bad, I'm tired of being sad.... I'm ALIVE ! I WANT TO LIVE ! Thank you for your support.. I need all I can get... Thank you ...

I don't know how to explain this but I felt for a very long while that I had walked outside myself I wasn't even living anymore.. I just existed .. I've prayed and it's been answered.. I've snapped out of it so to speak, I just wish It was many pounds before now ..
I'm gonna make it I know that.. I just buckled under pressure... It's a new day ...

I've been watching what I eat but yesterday I was not low carb... I came home from work and went straight to bed ... Didn't prepare my meals or nothing I just wanted to sleep.. I was sooooo tired.. This morning same thing .. This third shift CRAP! Ugggghh! I work 7pm til 7am. Most mornings I get off I sleep all day ... I cant wait until this is over with... One more week of this crap then it's back to day shift .. I need to grocery shop but OMG I'm just tired... This is my weekend off so Friday morning I'm going to get all my low carb supplies... Induction time ... Also I'll have time this weekend to plan out my meals and be better prepared .. I'm not gonna stress, I'm just gonna make the best choices and roll with it until Friday....


Back to SLEEP I go!

Deb, such joy to 'see' you around again. Please, NEVER feel like you can't stay and post here...we ALL have gained and if it was that easy to keep weight off, we wouldn't be here I'm so sorry for you loss, my friend. I can't imagine how tough it's been for you. However you are definitely ready...you said the perfect words, if there ever are any to be spoken..."I'm alive. I want to live". I can relate (in a very small comparison given your losses) regarding emotional eating. The past 3 months have been rough for me so I've let weight creep back on too. We're here to support each other so I have to do better on coming back here daily. You all are priceless!!

I agree with Shari, don't ever feel bad enough that you can't post your feelings in your own journal. WE ALL GAIN! We all fall off plan.. it happens and we get back up. NOW SLEEP!! and thank god these shifts will soon be done!

I worked last night so I'm tired today and not feeling my best ... I was awakened from my sleep with a call from my niece and then another from my oldest niece saying my sister is not doing too well ... I knew she was in the hospital because she told me she wasn't feeling well and later she texted she was being admitted ... I found out later It was a blood clot in her lungs ... She has gone through that before and she takes coumadin, so it didn't really alarm me... Well now after a couple calls I find out they had to put her on dialysis her lungs and kidneys are distressed and her blood cells are fighting against one another ... My sister is 12 hours away... OMG! I CAN'T GO OFF AGAIN! My stress level is almost through the roof... I got this sick feeling in my gut ! Can I just get a little break? I just want to scream! SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED AND SAD!


Sorry .... I'm just venting!

oh DEB!! I am so sorry about your sister and the stress you feel about it.. totally not fair sometimes.. I hope and pray they get this worked out and she has a speedy recovery. It is so hard when you are far away..

Good for you that you are able to continue to know you HAVE to do this for you.. You need to take care of your health also.

Another Monday

Trying to push through... Im ready to get this weightloss ball rolling AGAIN... My sister is doing a little better ... I did well Saturday, but Sunday I went out to eat with an ole friend and I wasnt on plan... Had a ribeye and baked potato ... It was good and spending time with my friend was great, it gave me a chance to ease my mind a bit... I dont car if I have to stat over a hundred times I will do it until it sticks ... Last week of the night shift... Im soooo happy...

Yes, let's definitely cheer each other on! We are pretty close in weight...let me know you menus and I'll do the same. I probably won't weigh this week since I packed my scale I plan on weighing weekly and following a WOE. I just feel like if I decide then I have to stick with it...i'm not good with commitment

Right now im doing meat and eggs to get into deep ketosis started, then im gonna go straight to induction... Low carb works for me really well when I work it... Once im in ketosis its a lot easier for me to stick to plan...

Just wondering Deb...how much did you lose before and how did you do it? I've lost a lot in so many ways...unfortunately I get bored easily...Diet ADD i guess...sounds like LC is the way to go with you...How much did you lose before?

Ive lost on lots of things incuding hcg, but low carb is what I do best when I can stay focussed... My weight hasnt been this high since I was pregnant with my son ... The most ive lost on low carb was like 73 pounds... Ive gotten as small as a 7/8 low carbing... 12/14 Hcg I want to get down a few pounds and then im gonna try Chris Powells plan carb cycling... Right now I gotta get this appetite under control... So thats meat and eggs to get me into deep ketosis then it gets easier...

Deb that is so inspiring. I don't remember the last time i've been a size 7/8. I must have skipped that straight to 14. The smallest I can remember being was a 10. I was around 140 then. I would like to get there again.

Yes ive got down to a 7/8 and I stayed there a little while but I stayed around the 9/10 area longer... right now im in a 22 and danngit I hate it ...Im ready to move back into the teens and fast...

Thanks Deb, but I have been around the same weight for 2 YEARS!!! UGH.. Yes, I didn't go all the way back up but only because I stayed here and forced myself to do some kind of plan... not always smart, but up and down and up and down the same 20 pounds.

I know that you can do it Deb, it is all about the mind!!! Any plan we choose will work, if our heads are in the right place. Still working on mine too!..

Congrats Deb on the losses!!! I agree with the other Deb, you can start over as many times as it takes...at least you're not giving up. And it's paying off. I remember briefly being a size 7/8 in the 7th and 8th grade...I wore the same sizes I was in grades LOL. I was a 9/10 in 9th grade and that's the smallest I've been in my adult life. We will get to our goals, great support system here!! Yay for last week of night shift!!

Good morning ladies... Had another good day and the scale was my friend again this morning I'm down a couple more pounds. I was 263.2 this morning .... I want out of the 260s:eek ...
