Sorry you're going through PMS/TOM mess. I'll bet that's why the scale showed a gain but with ketosis remember that fat if constantly burning away, regardless what the scale reads. Yes, stick to your plan and soon it will be over. Stay strong, my friend

Yep Zaria is my beautiful granddaughter she has been bit by the terrible 2s bug... Its like shes on super speed ... As far as the PMS/TOM mess im thinking its more than that.... Im gonna be 47 in September I think im getting the early effects of the big M! Ugggggh .... TOM has been crazy for the last 3 months...



As far as being on plan yesterday it was an epic fail ... I did great at breakfast and then it was a done deal... I didnt eat lunch because I wasnt hungry... My fiance made baked spagetti and I fell hard ... Not only did I eat that I HAD CHOCOLATE! I had 2 Hersheys bars... Just pitiful ...
Ive been invited to a big barbecue today... I really want to go with my family but im not gonna fool myself if I go I know there will be all kinds of traps set for me... This morning im up again... 263

I should have stayed my butt at home and did damage control and not MORE DAMAGE!... There are a lot of bad things I could say about my eating on the 4th of July but I wont... There are a lot of bad things I can say about myself but I wont... Truth is I had a great time and I felt good and I cant take it back so why cry over it... Today is a new day I declare it to be a clean eating day and im moving right along... Sulking and complaining wont change anything... If I have to start again a thousand times maybe one thousand and one may just work... I will succeed eventually, maybe even starting today .... Hello new day ...

So true, it doesn't pay to talk bad over what has already happened. I remember Gracie always used to remind me, guilt is a useless emotion. I hope you're doing well today. Have you started your new work shift?

Hi everyone... I'm working just peeking in... I've started my new shift thats really my old shift 7am to 7pm.. I'm doing well with my eating, and I weighed in at 260 even, maybe by the weekend I'll be in the 250s.... Been working extra hard getting this line back running correctly since it's been down since September ... I'll have to catch up with everything on Friday which is my off day.. Thanks for checking up on me guys ... I'm ok ... Just busy ...

Hello everyone ... Its looking good today im definetly gonna be clean eating today and getting in a lot of much needed rest and relaxation...

Let me back track for a minute.. Last September my line was shut down at work... I had the choice of either taking a third shift position or being laid off indefinetly... I chose third shift, being laid off was not an option for me... So fast forward to today... The company decided to reopen my line but in doing that its like starting all over again since this line has been down since Sept... It has been pure hell and a great big headache... All in all im glad God reopened that door that was supposed to be closed indefinetly... They said it would be up to three years but God ... So ive been really busy... To add insult to injury I was given a partner that is over me that is clueless to the process and running the machinery... He makes more money than I do and he has to ask me everything and im expected to keep eveything going... When management has questions they bypass him and ask me... What the ####....

Sorry guys rant over ....



The scale was still sitting at 260 this morning... Im not gonna worry about it my body is all over the place since this schedule change...

Totally agree with the others, you're doing great despite the job situation but I'm glad to hear that they reopened that position again so you can work your regular shift again...hopefully things will smooth out soon.

Thanks my friends for being so sweet to me ...
I hopped on the scale this morning and had all the air taken out of my happy ballon .. I should have read all the signs but no I didnt... The headaches, leg pains, lower back pains... Uggggh! TOM is back and this time with vengences... What the heck ... I guess last time was a false alarm because he only peeked and was never really a real period (just a little spotting)... He bought 3 pounds with him too ... I know ive done well and I shouldnt let that bother me but man did that hurt... I was looking forward to seeing those 250s this morning... I felt so ... Hormones were raging I couldnt get it together... I felt like eating chocolate today, I felt like eating cake today, I felt like eating fast food today......


BUT I DIDNT I MADE IT THROUGH THIS DAY AND I STAYED ON PLAN AND I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT ! I made it through!

Good morning friends ... So glad to be off today ... This has been a very busy week... Never thought that it would be so hard transitioning from third shift back to first... Even though both shifts I work 12hrs it has been really hard getting my sleep patterns back to normal... This week has been really crazy... My eating hasnt been bad ive actually been eating good, thing is ive only been getting in maybe one good meal a day and its when I get home at around 8pm... I havent lost any more weight in still sitting here at 261.. I havent been strict low carb at all, basically I eat a meal and thats it.. No seconds, no sweets,nothing off limits, just a meal ... I havent had time to plan anything out... Im off for the next 3 days so im definetly going to be strict and see how good the scale will be to me... Im gonna read Chris Powells book again... I like carb cycling, I just have to find a way to get in those 5 meals a day.. Ive got to do something to get this ball rolling...

Sorry it is so hard to get into the shift change, but you will get there!

It sounds like you need these days off to get organized if that is what you choose. I have Chris Powells book also, and I just love him!.. His carb cycling is a great idea!

THanks Deb .. I have so much on my plate right now til, basically I really dont know what I want to do as far as plan wise... Ive just been eating, not gorging myself or monitoring everything just eating.... It actually feels good not to count or restrict or stress over what I eat.. Ive just been eating... No weight lost no weight gained...

Exactly what I am doing! Not stressing about ANYTHING I put in my mouth. It is a process for me, and when you just don't have to think about food, I believe that you eventually just eat less. Nothing is that exciting because you can have it..

Sometimes no plan is a good plan..

Hi Deb and Deb! So glad to see you on your journal. I love reading everything that you post. Funny thing, I was reading on Chris Powells carb cycling plan as well. I am with Deb on having no plan. I have guidelines that I keep too, but nothing is restricted. If I want it; I eat it. No worries there. I've been steadily losing and so happy with this new WOL. Keep us in the loop of what you are doing Deb. The scale thing could be from your sleep pattern being disrupted. I say hang in there and be good to yourself
