DD has been okay so far.

I have had more calories than I would have liked to have at this time of day.

I didn't do any coffee and cream this morning and I think that helps me a lot.

I have had this lingering headache though and around 11 I had a mini babybel cheese and that helped it a bit. Around 230 or so I had a second one when the headache started to get bad again and another just now.

So that puts me at 240 calories. I will try to just have some broth when I get home.

But its 5:45 and I will be at work until 7...

So yesterday wasn't the best of UDs for me. I may or may not have gone over my UD calories. I really need to be counting.

I think I may have mentioned before that part of my job is going to these cuttings T-F. At these cuttings I am supposed to try each product we are manufacturing that day for quality assurance. I have done well getting around going as of late but yesterday I had to go and I think that along with the awful headache I had just made me really weak.

My meals weren't so bad. I did eat carbs even though I was trying to stay away from them but otherwise they weren't bad. I had a egg and sausage burrito for breakfast, a mixed green salad with a bit of oil and blood orange balsamic topped with some chicken and some sauteed shrimp on the side and then I had some edamame and a little sushi for dinner. The main problem with my day is that I indulged in the candy at work that is sitting out. Four different times. M&Ms, Twix, Kit Kat, more M&Ms. At least they were the tiny little halloween fun size treats but still! Not okay.

I had been doing so well avoiding the candy this week and carbs and yesterday I am not even sure what happened.

Well, I almost didn't step on the scale this morning just in fear of the bounce and thinking I would have a big bounce today that would end up discouraging me. I did anyway and was happy to see the number was 200.4!

That is over half a pound down from the day before after a DD and somewhere close to four pounds lost this week. I probably started this week off around 204. I know this may all level out and I may only end the week at like 202 and I am okay with that even. As long as I end the weeks in the right direction.

My DD on Wednesday wasn't the greatest either. I probably ate closer to 1000 calories that day. I think that my problem that day is that I didn't eat nearly enough on my UD Tuesday. If I had to estimate I would say I only got in maybe 1500 calories on Tuesday maximum.

Sipping my coffee now hoping for a great DD. I can do this! I am hoping to stay away from all solids till around 3pm or later. If I must I will have a bit of cheese I have here at work. But hopefully I can manage to make it till after work.

We will see..

Just found your journal CMB! Sounds like you have been through a huge adjustment with your job situation, but I'm sure glad you got that promotion, and I so admire you for wanting it on merit and not due to family stuff. That will earn you a lot of respect over time, I suspect.

Good luck hopping back on the JUDDD train!

Needless to say I am not doing very good at this. Life has been so busy for me in the last 6 months but I have to start making myself my priority. It's 3:30 and I've been in bed since 10 trying to get to sleep. Finally grabbed the iPad and figure now is as good of a time as any to get started here again.

Since I have judded off and on. Maintained. Lost over the holiday somehow and I am now pretty dedicated in my juddding. I really need to set an alarm to remind me to update here once a day. It would be nice to have the record and helps with accountability also.

I have some big goals coming up that I would really like to reach.

I go to the Dominican Republic in 7 weeks. I am going to do everything I can to lose 10 pounds by then. I will be working out like a mad woman and juddding away. I can tell I have good dedication going because I sold some tickets to a show I really wanted to go to tonight bc I knew I would be tempted to drink a bunch of beer (even tho it was a UD).

I have to MAINTAIN in DR. I have some ideas of how to do this while still enjoying my vacation but it will be hard. I leave on my birthday and will probably enjoy a nice dinner when I arrive. I will be busy exploring and doing activities outside the first 3 days. Not worried about those days at all. Then I check into an all inclusive resort for 4 days. Not only that but my all time favorite band will be at the resort performing on the beach every one of those nights. It's not the food but all the drinking I'll be tempted to do and then the late night eating that follows. But like I said, I have a plan, but more on that later.

The main reason I can't handle even the tiniest gain is because my best friend gets married two weeks after I return. Already nervous about fitting into my bridesmaid dress that hasn't come I'm yet. So I'm hoping to lose a couple more pounds in those weeks between DR and her wedding.

The next thing I have is a music festival three weeks after the wedding. I'd like to be 180 by then. That's 20 pounds in 13 weeks. 12 if you don't count my week of maintaining during DR. If I don't make that goal it's no big deal. I would like to though.

Anyway. Going to try to get some sleep again. My alarm will be going off in 3 hours. Not a good start to my DD.

Thimk I'll just stick to posting here until I have proved I'm actually here to stay this time. Then maybe I'll venture back to the main boards. Feel like such a flake constantly returning and disappearing a day later.

Forgot to mention my current weight above!

I was 199.3 this morning! First time I have been below 200 since the summer. Hopefully I won't see the 200s again after this week (have to expect some bounce)

Lack of sleep is hitting me hard.

Have consumed more calories today so far than I would have liked to at this point.

About 200. Meh. Not terrible. I have a feeling I will end up at closer to 600 or 700 today but I am okay with that.

198.3! Woooo! Hoping to keep this downward trend going.

I was about 208 at the beginning of December. 204/205 in January and now here I am! Feels really good.

Not sure how many calories I had yesterday but I don't think I could call it a DD.

Babybel (80)
Cottage Cheese (90)
Refried beans and cheese (200)
beef burrito on low carb medium size tortilla w/ cheese (250)

Well that is actually not so bad as I thought now that I add it up, around 650.

Today hasn't been ideal but also not bad. Ate my one meal earlier than I would have liked. Will probably have some cottage cheese if I need to later to get me through the night.

I'm thinking I am probably around 400 cal right now.

Went for a small hike w my puppy. Really should get some more exercise but don't think I will.

198.4!

Again, yesterday wasn't perfect but I am happy I am getting close and keeping to rotations.

Yesterday ends up looking a little like this:

A couple bites of chicken salad
Beans and cheese
2 eggs
~7 yogurt covered pretzels

Heading to a workout class at 9:30. Hopefully today I an keep control of myself on this UD

Meh I wanted to break through 199 forever. But still I am happy. The trend is still downward. Small bounces up after my UDs.

Today I'm going for a perfect DD. wish me luck.

I'm thinking coffees cream for bfast

Lots of water and green tea

Maybe a piece of cheese late afternoon.

Cottage cheese for dinner

WOO! 197.4.

I have a little bit of a headache but am about to go into work. Wishing this snow would come already if its actually going to come at all. Didn't go to the gym yesterday. Just on a walk with my pup because I was so sore from Sundays workout. Today I am even sorer but I need to do something a little bit more today even if its just a little more intensity on the treadmill or something.

I have completely lost my MOJO! I am struggling and up 8 pounds because of it! My son is now just monitoring his calories daily. He isn't really doing rotations. I know he is up a few pounds, but is that because of eating? or his increase in height? He is now 6 foot tall. I am 5'8" and I am not short, but he makes me feel very short! But with size 13 feet, he probably still has more growing ahead of him!

A couple pounds for a boy of his age is no big id say! Wow! He is a tall boy. I bet he will grow a bit more. Thats awesome though! I loved hearing about someone of his age having success with JUDDD. Sure wish I knew about JUDDD when I was in High School.

And you my dear have got this! I know just as well as anyone how hard it can be with struggling. Here I am about 7 or 8 months in and just now getting anywhere. I just now feel like I am finally getting it and will be successful this go around.

I see you aren't feeling well too and that can't help! But lets just stick to our rotations and everything will sort itself out! I saw your pictures from your cruise and you look great!

Yesterdays DD didn't turn out as ideal as I would have liked.

I was doing SO SO well. Then 4pm hit and I had two Hershey kisses. I didn't feel bad about it as I planned to go home and have my soup and I would still be within my calories for the day.

Then my exboyfriend/boyfriend/friend, not sure what to call him (thats a whole different story about whats going on in my life), called me up and wanted me to meet up with him because he was having a bad day. I felt bad because the day before he had fallen and really hurt himself so I figured I would go meet him.

We went to dinner and there was really nothing for me to order. I ended up ordering a wedge salad with some chicken on it. I probably didn't even eat half of it but I have no clue how many calories I ate. Could be anywhere from 300-600 I would guess. I didn't have much dressing but it was a creamy dressing so that and the chicken is really where the calories would have come from.

Even on the high end though at 600 that puts me at probably close to 1000 calories yesterday. I want to DD it today because I messed up but that would probably mess me up and put me at risk to get more off track so I am going to continue on with my UD. My UDs haven;t been that high anyway, probably should be a good bit higher but I am not too focused on it right now. Trying to get used to the rotations of eating not much one day, and eating the next more so than getting the calories perfect at this point.

Also, I have a doctors appt today. I am really anxious about it. I am at least 10 pounds over what I was last time I was there (2 years ago. Last year I had to cancel my appt last minute and never got around to rescheduling, not good). Maybe closer to 15. I don't want to hear it...

I know my situation and I know how to fix it. Makes me not want to go but I know I can't do that. BLAH. Hate being lectured by the doctor though.

`Well down here in Atlanta we are having a snow day! What a nightmare. I headed home after the doctor around 12, an hour after the snow began. It took me 3 hours to get home which is usually a 20 minute drive...

I know everyone else in the country is laughing at us.

THANK GOODNESS its a UD because I never would have survived a DD today.

Here are some pictures of my puppy that I have gotten since I was around the forums a couple months ago.

CMB, your pup is adorable (so are you, BTW)! Is it a Goldendoodle? Girl or boy? I WANT DETAILS!

I'm so glad you've come back to JUDDD, and I hope you will really get into the routine and love it like I do (most of the time).

How did it go at the doctor?

Thank you! Milly is her name and yes she is a goldendoodle. Today she is 20 weeks and 22 lbs.

I just love her to pieces. I have been planning for her for several years just waiting for the right time.

Doctor went well. He didn't say anything about my weight thank goodness. My iron is low and they forgot to test my b12 and vit D so they had to take more blood but everything else looked great!
