Amber, you are so beautiful! My goodness, you were an absolutely stunning bride too -- I just love your wedding dress, hair and make-up -- so perfect. Your journey has been amaze-balls for lack of a better term -- it is so inspiring to see what you accomplished!

I know I speak for many folks on this board when I say that you are a true inspiration as well as an incredibly wonderful person. I'm proud to follow your journal! xo xo xo

Hi Amber. I have been following you for about a year now and I am so impressed with your progress and commitment. Life throws everyone lemons but you just hang in there doing what you need to do. I that is my goal. That I don't let the roadblocks along the way detour me from my goal. You are so beautiful. I have watched your transformation with joy and just wanted to introduce myself. I am going to try and post more, both here and on the regular boards, so I look forward to getting to know you.

I am anxiously watching your house escapades as I am presently getting my house ready to sell. I am terrified. What if no one wants it!

I have recently gotten serious about the LC diet as my weight has not moved in 6 months and my BS has (gone up). I do not want to lose my eyesight or kidneys, etc so I am being diligent.

Good luck with the house hunting. I know living with others, no matter how much we love them, gets old. :)

Hi Amber ~ Love following your journal. You are such an inspiration and such a big part of it is that you have struggles, just like everyone else but you don't quit ~ you keep posting and I'm so glad that you do.

I still think that you should put all your journals into a book and I'm sure it would be a best seller!!! Once I started reading them, I was completely addicted.

:hugs:  :hugs:

Aw girls you are all too kind, it is easy to get down on things, but you just have to keep going!! About the house, the title company is going to do a full search and by Friday we are suppose to know if there is a 2nd mortgage that the sellers have, if so we are looking at 4 months at least, if not we should be able to settle in less than 2 months, I am praying!!!! There are 2 possible homes available and we dont like either one, we have to stay in Robert's school district, so we are limited, ughghg!

Fun weekend, and I am keeping my trap shut!!! Had a burger with no bun at the pool yesterday, so trying to make better choices!

Mom's B-day is tomorrow so having a get together today at the pool for her, Tony is making his Moroccan Salmon it is so good!!!!!!

Putting a bathing suit on was depressing ughghg!!! But one more week school is out and then I can get to the gym every morning!!!!

Racquetball is fun though! We are enjoying that!

Have a good weekend girls!!!!

Amber - here's hoping all goes your way!

I have three weeks before I can get out of this darn boot for a sprained ankle/torn ligament. Then, I'm hitting it!!!

I am still dreaming of 175 or maybe even less...who knows!

Bejewelme 06-03-2013 02:57 AM

So I was so careful and what did I lose? NADA!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing! Exact same weight as last Tuesday! Played 5 hours of racquetball and nothing! Good Grief!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is Mom's b-day!!! Well back to it today and see if anything budges!!!

Jayce 06-03-2013 06:05 AM

Oh Amber...I know how frustrating that can be. Hoping that darn scale moves for you soon!

lexiann21 06-03-2013 08:20 AM

mama_2_3 06-03-2013 08:12 PM

Marking my spot too!
Amber, I can't describe how much of an inspiration you have been but those pictures sum up your progress really well. I'm so proud of you and all you've accomplished :hugs:

Bejewelme 06-04-2013 02:57 AM

Yeah but now I am frustrated that I was a lot smaller and let myself gain so much weight so freaking quickly!!! Man if only it came off as easy as it comes on!!!!

Super proud of my son, he had another huge hit in the game last night, and he and his friend on the other team asked their homeroom teacher to come to the game and she did, she was telling me what a joy he is and how much she is going to miss him! I am so proud of him, he is a really good boy!! They had a little party for the kids last night after the game, another one tongiht, Sat, Mon and Wed then baseball is over! 5 more days of school!!!

So yesterday I tried starving that is not the best thing, I had this salad I bought at the store it was only 200 calories, well I was ready to eat an arm, so I shoved in a brownie, LOL It was delish!! Nothing like a homemade baked good!

I am guessing that LC is not working for me either but I have to find something! So who knows I am hoping once I can start going to the gym again in the morning that maybe that will help!

zipp2play 06-04-2013 05:55 AM

Isn't is amazing when someone tells you how much they enjoy your child? It makes a Mom warm up completely from the inside out! BEAMING to say the least!

I feel your pain girl. The weight comes ON so much easier than it comes off!!!!!!

Have you ever considered JUDDD? Just a thought!

lexiann21 06-04-2013 06:30 AM

Workouts will definitely help!!! but you'd want to make sure and track measurements AND scale!

DesertGurl 06-04-2013 10:15 AM

You've got a great kid. I'm so happy that other people enjoy him as much as you do! I bet you're counting down the days til school's over, huh? I know I was!

I think the exercise will make a big difference for you, it always has! Crossing my fingers that this gives you jumpstart that you're looking for!

GailyGail 06-04-2013 03:10 PM

What Dani said! Amber, you are such a good athlete and you get great results from working out. You are super toned NOW! Look at how good your arms and legs look! Oh and your son, Bobby, is a fantastic kid. I can see why you are so proud! xo!

verbqueen 06-04-2013 04:24 PM

:hugs: Hi, Amber! Congrats on another new journal. I love how you never give up and never give in.

I've gained a bit back, too, and a month of serious low-carbing netted me about a 2 pound loss. So I'm back on hcg. It's miserable, but it works!

I'm following your house adventures on FB. Crossing my fingers it all works out.

Bejewelme 06-05-2013 03:00 AM

I lost 2 this morning go figure? Yesterday I ate more like 80 carbs and lower fat and the scale budged, hmm, not sure what to make of that! But I will take a loss any way I can get it! Robert and this baseball he had another big hit almost to the fence, man he is so close to getting a homer, it is very rare at this field as it is huge, so he has been really belting them!

House stress for sure, waiting to hear about this 2nd mortgage, if the sellers have satisfied it or not, ughggh.

Juddd- I dont think I could eat 500 calories ever! LOL I would be a lunatic! I know it works so well for some of the girls.

No game tonight so at some point I will be doing something, not sure what, debating couch to 5K again, I have to start all over, that is another thing, man I stop running I lose that as well, ughghg

zipp2play 06-05-2013 06:52 AM

Good luck with the C25K. I was a runner several years ago. I would do 40+ miles a week. It's a great workout and enjoyable. Good luck!

Jayce 06-05-2013 07:24 AM

Congrats on the loss, Amber! I am eating higher carb levels since I'm working out now, and it seems to agree with me more. I still track them, however, because I don't believe we need as many carbs as they try to tell us.

I just restarted C25K officially on Monday...tonight is Day 2. I had been doing intervals on my own for the last month and a half, so I felt ready to try this again!

You can totally do it! One thing I keep reading is that anyone who tries C25K needs to focus more on getting through the intervals than trying to run them quickly. For some people, that means jogging/running barely above their walking speed. As our bodies get more conditioned, then we can adjust speed accordingly. I am focusing on finishing!

Hope you have a great "Hump Day." :)

cathy143 06-05-2013 04:03 PM

Amber,

Congrats on the loss and good luck on the C25K

Key Tones 06-05-2013 04:25 PM

Amber - Yay on the 2 pounds!

Bejewelme 06-06-2013 03:15 AM

Well girls we got some good news, there is no 2nd on the house, so now by Fri they are to provide us with some kind of timeline for settlement!!! Praying, crossing fingers and my monkey toes!!!!!

C25K is amazing when I did it a few years ago I never thought I could run, I was smoking and that program works!!!!! Jayce I am not a fast runner but it was going for 3 miles at a time, I remember the night I ran 3 miles w/o stopping and I was shocked!!!! I miss being close to the track and the lake where I used to live, the lake was exactly .5 miles so it was easy to mark off how far you were running!!!!

Trying slightly more carbs and lower fat this week and will see what happens!!! I was afraid to weigh cause I am still revealing in 2 pounds down, LOL

mama_2_3 06-06-2013 07:30 AM

Great news on the house!!! :jumpjoy: :jumpjoy:
I hope things settle quickly so you can get back to feeling normal :)
