Hey you lost 5 pounds in two weeks and that is awesome. I also admire that you show such great restraint around Halloween candy - I won't even let it in the house. I make Tony hide it so I can't find it and eat it! You have a good plan for your party -- I am glad you are bringing healthy, legal treats.

Don't worry -- you will lose plenty of weight before you go to Vegas!

T I am weighing just once a week, on Mondays but I like Lexi's idea of doing it on Friday I cant do it everyday cause it does tick me off!!!!

Just trying to eat what I need to eat and not think about it, I am sticking to my resolve of no Halloween candy! That is a tough one when the boys keep shoving it in! LOL

We have a Halloween party this Saturday I am taking veggies, and a pumpkin dip with apples, and fruit, so I will have veggies to snack on!

We have been so busy with the house stuff I need to get to the gym on weekends too, or else walk or something, slacking on the weekends isnt good, although you would think all the yard work we did would burn something!

Just going to keep plugging, I got the Venus catalog and there is a ton of cute stuff I want for Vegas and no way my fat butt is fitting in them at this point, so I cut out pictures and hung them in my dressing room for inspiration!
i do the same thing! it works! it helps to be reminded. i have pics of the bridesmaid dress at work and on my fridge at home

I dragged my butt out of bed at 5:25 this morning -- I'd laid out my workout clothes last night by the bed, so that helped. I did feel more energized after going though, so I'm going to try to keep going. I like the points that Twyla mentioned, as far as getting up a little earlier if needed to give yourself time to "wake up", get coffee, etc. I may need to try a Tbs of CO in my coffee again!

Happy Tuesday, Amber! That pumpkin dip for fruit sounds yummy!!!

ETA: I like you & Lexi's ideas of cutting out outfits...I am going to look for some!

I weighed this morning and I am down, still no Halloween candy as Bobby and Tony stuffed it in all night, man it is hard!!!! Tomorrow is going to be my official weigh and we will see what happens. I guess I could get up at 4:30 to give my self some time but that seems nuts, I am already tired getting up at 5!

Made some kind of taco meat last night over salad, think I am going to make fish tonight so we can get outside for the kids.

Yea! Glad to hear the weight is going down. I'm going trick-or-treating w/ my bf's kids tonight, and he says they usually rack up, so I'm probably going to keep my food choices lower calorie during the day to save for treats tonight.

Oh yea, I wouldn't be able to get up at 4:30 on a regular basis -- I'd be such a wench! Hahahaha!

Yay! You lost more weight! That is fantastic. This is your reward for not caving into the Halloween candy. Just think of how even MORE gorgeous you will look by the time you get to Las Vegas.

Happy halloween!!! I'm on my low calorie fast today so no halloween candy for me today either. We can think of each other as we are resisting

Yay for the loss!!

Be strong, Amber, you've got this. I'm not having any Halloween Candy today either. A piece or two tomorrow on my up day. Maybe you can treat yourself to a piece or two of sugar free chocolate tomorrow after you weigh?

This being the start to the Holiday season there will be lots of good choices to be made. I know you can do it.

I resisted so far, omg though candy everywhere, so I am down 9.2 in 3 weeks, I will take that, thanks to Lexi for getting me to weigh today versus Monday, LOL

I had some sugar free chocolate pudding last night while the boys were stuffing it in, and I ran between our tailgate and the neighbors house, LOL That was my exercise, I kept talking to her and then running as fast as I could back to Tony, LOL

Party Saturday night, ughghg I gotta be strong!!!!

Have a great weekend girls, we are having terrible wind today our internet and TV was out, so I will make the rounds tonight!!!!

Amber, a 9.2 pound loss in three weeks is GREAT. You have to remember that you are not that big and very close to goal -- so the rate of weight loss slows down exponentially. 3 pounds per week is excellent. You are on a great track! The wind is terrible here today too -- it is howling like a banshee and it super dark/cold outside. Boo!

Good luck at the party. You WILL be strong.

Amber~ great loss! 3 lbs a week, that's awesome! Have fun at your party, have a good plan in place. Decide what you are having before you go and then relax. We're entering the "Party Zone" from now until January 2nd so lots of restraint for all of us in the future....

YAY congrats girl! hubby and i were talking about how we can't wait until we can just "chill" and hand out candy and the kids can just go out by themselves. don't get me wrong we enjoy taking them but we'll enjoy the hanging out just a little bit better i think haha. oh with wine of course.

SO went to the Halloween party did pretty well, found this low cal/ low carb magon passionfruit juice and mixed it with rum, it was OK, I am not a huge drinker anyway so that was fine! I made the veggie tray and pumpkin dip!

We saw my niece in her cheerleader competition, then we went to a rock show and bought some rocks, I have not made jewelery in so long too much with the house, but it got me excited about it again, I have to get the whole basement organized so Tony can start working on building the shops for rocks and his wood turning. But the basement is scary! Everything I didnt want upstairs is thrown down there, LOL You cant even walk! But my home gym is in the plans down there and I really want that! So I need to work down there this winter and get it going!

Then we had the party that was fun they make tombstones for everyone that comes to the party, and plants them in the yard, mine ready Amber loved living her low carb lifestyle, too bad she ran a mile and keeled, LOL It was cute!

Today Tony is going to the gym with me, and helping me make a workout plan for 5 days a week, and to push myself, as much as I dont want to do it I think I need to start running again too, so I might start that this week, maybe I can convince my son to run with me again!

Planting outside today and it is so windy! Eagles are not on until 4 so we have all day to work!

Here is to another week, I hope I see some more losses I am just keeping at it and reminding myself how badly I want to see onderland again!

Huge Eagles win, huge fantasy football win, I am loving this Monday, free dunkin coffee, other than it is 19!!! So we never got to the gym, but I worked for several hours packing up the Halloween stuff and the basement, we are now all set up to work out at home, so no more driving off in the morning to the gym, we still have to paint and lay out carpet, but for now it will do! So all excited to get up and work out, and my alarm was messed up! Ughgh, maybe tonight!

Excited Cher is on DWTS tonight, love her! I wrote her when I was in 3rd grade and she wrote back, spelled my name wrong, but I still have the postcard from her!
