It sounds like you're doing great! Totally back on track!

I wish I didn't have such a black thumb. I tried planting flowers and gardening last year. It doesn't help that we have so much clay!

It's been so nice outside here in Northern VA, too! It's supposed to hit 70 today.

Well girls I am finally getting my act together!!! After much talking and thinking I decided to act and the new gym finally opened, I am dragging my fat butt there, new trainer who is killing me, lots of good classes and finally am moving some weight, eating more and exercising, who would have thought it??????

Bella the family is good we are doing a lot of outside work, put in a fire pit and the flagstone for around it is still piled up, my job is power wash and carry 6,000 pounds of rock to the back of the house, LOL Tony has to dig it all out! I figure that is a good workout! I load up a tarp and drag it.

Getting ready for summer and just enjoying the beautiful weather!!! I got a smoker with points at work so hubby has been smoking various meats, so far all he caught this year was one skinny little trout!!!

I am eating very moderate carbs now that I am exercising trying to stick to meat and veggies and not so much crap, doing yoga and the next outdoor project is a pond we are building up in the wetlands with a yoga platform, I do love yoga!

So memorial day is upon us and I am the fattest I have been in the last 3 years since I started so my goal this summer is to work out like a maniac and try to get myself back into shape!

I was talking to Angela today on facebook and I am hoping to drag her out of hiding and get back to us.

I forgot to mention I met a girl at the gym she lost 120 pounds and gained about 40 back and is all frustrated so we became fast friends and we are going to boot camp tonight, having a local friend at my gym will be a good thing, especially someone in the same boat!

OMG I just fell off my chair!!!! Ang is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah so my legs and arms are so sore, Tony said you better not go and do that again, so I called my GF in the neighborhood and she is doing a mud run in 3 weeks, so we walked a 5K loop she had planned and we got back right before the rain, now I feel bad I ditched my new gym friend but I cant even sit on the toilet my legs are so sore, they feel a lot better this morning after walking and stretching!

We had some of the smoked chicken Tony made last night a big salad and some indian curry cauliflower!

Tony now gets home at 4:30 a full hour before me so he is making dinner I could eat my own arm by the time I get home since I take lunch at 11:30 I always say I need snacks for work and never take anything so I am starving!

I am not weighing for a couple days to see if the darn scale moves!

Morning, Amber...sounds like you've got some good things going on in your life. So glad that Tony has extra time now with his new job.

Great job on getting in the exercise! I definitely need to start walking again b/c I miss it.

Yes girls we all have to get back on track! One week since I joined the gym, 7 hours of workouts, yoga, walking, bootcamp etc, I think I gotta get back to about 10-14 to really lose weight but you know I feel so much better, so much happier, I think the endorphins are kicking in!

Dinner was not so good tonight, Tony made smoked chorizio which was so good but then he made his fried noodles, egg noodles he boils, then pan fries in butter and Parmesan cheese until crispy and salad, OMG I love them, I love that he is cooking dinner though that is probably why I feel better I hate rushing home to cook!

Having a big party Saturday night picking up a huge brisket he is going to smoke for like 18 hours, I got that Guys LC BBQ sauce so I hope its good! Going to try to limit the alcohol, I saw Michelob is making a LC hard cider but I cant find it anywhere!!!!

Yay that Tony is cooking! Boo that he made the noodles! .
We have a smoker, and we love everything we've made in there. I know you use dreamfields, so I am going to recommend smoking a pan of dreamfields Mac and cheese sometime. I am not kidding, smoked Mac and cheese is awesome! Glad you are getting back to it with the exercise. Your soreness will die down soon! I just did 2 back to back 10k step days according to my fit bit. It's easy to do here in Chicago. At home, it's harder!
