Hi Amber,
So happy Nan likes her new place. So important! I was down visiting my family this weekend. My nan is doing much better. She has a nurse come in the morning, and one in the afternoon. She hates it...she complains every minute that they put things away in the wrong place and make her nervous. She said on hugged her cat too hard. Ugh! . My mom says they are great...and clearly very patient! Oy. But she needs them...at least for a few more weeks while she is still healing.

When Nan went home the first time we had nurses come and she told them to get out, OMG we were shocked cause Nan loves everyone, but she is thriving in the place, something happened to her roommate, she was so good on Saturday when I was in and getting around and then my aunt called and said she was rushed to the hosptial, so I am hoping Nan will be OK with her gone, they were really close and she was a nice lady!

Did a little falling off this weekend, mainly wine! LOL

Back at it this week!

Kale chips--ughghg I tired them and thought they were nasty! But maybe another try!

The snow didnt materialize into anything huge, I was all ready for a snow day!!! Tony is building us a rock shop so my task is to organize about 2,000 pounds of rocks and slabs, OMG I worked for hours yesterday and got through 3 boxes there are about 30 more, LOL I told him dont expect this to happen to quickly! Plus my attention span I can only take it so long! The only good thing is I cant eat covered in rock dirt! Its a little hard on my manicure!

Robert has baseball try outs this week, he is all nervous, he is done at the old complex so if he doesn't make the junior varsity team I am not sure where he can keep playing so I had him at the batting cages and got him a lesson yesterday, the guy said he has the potential to make the team so I hope, I know he will devastated if he doesn't make it. He is so driven with school but he doesn't have that competitive edge with sports even though he loves it!

That is about it, one of Tony's old co workers is bringing her 4 month old baby on Saturday so I am excited I get to cuddle a baby next weekend! She is adorable like Meg's baby! There is something that makes you want a baby when you know you cant have anymore!

I had my IUD put in last month and OMG I have the worst breast pain, like when I was nursing, I hope that goes away soon, it is so painful I am guessing its all the new hormones, ughghg

Well that is life, I got a raise on Friday and I am getting an extra 1,000 next pay day she said cause it has been so busy with just us working, a new girl is starting Thursday I hope she is nice and crazy! She has 6 kids so she must be! LOL

Amber,

I hope Nan adjusts OK. You are so worried, I can tell you really care about her. She sounds great; I'm sure the staff loves her and will comfort her.

Busy week the new lady starts at work, she actually lives right near me in the development where Bobby's dad lives, she has 6 kids a few years older than me, I think she is 52. Her kids span 23-7 man! So will check her out today! Stressful week, we got a letter that my Nan does not qualify for Medical Assistance, she gets $704 a month that is it, no car, no house, nothing she had a life insurance policy that has $4000 cash value, so they suggested we do a pre paid funeral, luckily my aunt is going to do it, I told her I couldn't take off mainly because there is no way I want to think about it for Nan. SO now a hearing and re apply, what a giant PIA. Nan is so cute her best buddy was taken to the hospital but now she is eating meals with a man, he told her she is beautiful, I said OMG I can hear it now wedding in the nursing home! LOL

Been trying to be careful and the scale is not moving, one more week until the new gym opens and I can join there, thank God, I gotta move my fat butt!

Hi Amber,
Glad you are getting some help at work! And that Nan is still happy in her new place. So cute she is eating dinner with a gentleman friend. Sweet.

I was MIA, but as of today I am getting myself back on track! I started with walking for an hour on Saturday and a yoga class last night that felt so good, I really need to go back to yoga and lifting! I am at a weight here as of late, that is terrible and it is really ticking me off, I am so fat even my watch feels tight, so I ticked away almost 3 months being counter productive so back at it again and I have to try and stick to it no matter what and get moving again! It is so hard and so depressing! The new girl quit at work, 2 weeks, she decided she didnt like getting up and going to an office, so back to square one!

OK the blizzard is coming tomorrow for sure, its been 18 hours without cheating and I exercised 3 days in a row! I made my son walk wiht me for 45 minutes tonight, it is freezing! BUt now I feel proud, I am going to chug water and not think about food! Day 1 almost over, I am not weighing myself and going through that whole circus of emotion!

B- 2 eggs scrambled with leftover hamburger meat
L- chicken thigh over cabbage shop salad
D- 2 boneless porkchops with kale salad

No Dunkin coffee at lunch but still getting my hot coffee from there!

exercise- 45 minute brisk walk, OMG my son was like Mom you are heaving that is terrible!

But I do have some good news, I quit smoking, today was 1 week, I didn't want to say it before I got through the week! So more than ever I got to get the eating under control or I will really gain!

Well day 2 almost done, had

B- Omelette with provolne
L-Chicken thigh, cabbage salad with avacado
D-Salmon with olives and asparagus, that is sort of light so
might be hungry later might eat some cheese or something to hold me over. Trying to avoid too much cheese and nuts.

So it is flurring but I think I can walk in it, might make me walk faster, or we can try to carry my exercise bike upstairs I thought if I could pedal watching Reality TV that is a good thing!

Going to try to find all my LC stuff, man I need to find my old journal and see WTH did I eat and WTH did I do to stop losing!

Carry on girls, we can do this!!!!!

Great work on day 2

You're getting snow and we're in the midst of a HUGE dust storm I'm thanking myself for being lazy today and not getting my car washed like I'd planned

I want to get a bike so I can do just that....bike my tush off in front of the telly...I could go miles, I think!

We ended up walking in the flurries it was not windy which was good! So I got my exercise in, will have to think about moving the bike it is heavy and awkward but I think we can get it up the steps then I have to live with it in my living room!

I am trying to go through my old journals, OMG all we did was gab but I can hardly find what the heck I was eating!

Boy sticking to this is totally mental, it really consumes a lot of effort getting it in my head to stick to it!!!

I go for my mammogram this morning then into work!

Day 3 onward!

kutgw... it is so mental... we have to get it into our heads that food is for survival and nothing else. not for entertainment or to cover up feelings.

Day 3

B- hardboiled eggs
L- CHicken salad with avacado
D- Cheeseburger on lettuce salad hard boiled egg

Had the carb flu yesterday my stomach hurt now today I feel fine!

We carried the exercise bike up last night and plunked it in my living room, I pedaled for 40 minutes, but it is not the best workout, but it was so cold and windy there was no way I was going outside, brought up the free weights and did arm exercises!

Forgot my huge bottle of water and didnt drink nearly enough yesterday! So mad at myself!

Hey Bella!
I know it took me freaking long enough to get myself going, good grief!!! Day 4 almost done! Man all I know is that darn scale better move, but no matter the number on Monday I have to keep it up and keep moving!!!!

B- cheddar cheese slices and turkey ham slices
L- I get that perdue ready cooked chicken, and eat half a bag on half a bag of cabbage chop salad with an avacado that is my ususal!
D- leftover salmon and some Italian hoagie salad, it is basically like the inside of an italian hoagie chopped up, pretty good I got it at the deli! ate it over lettuce!!!

I usually go to the store Fri nights so I am trying to go through recipes and see what I need, I never made fat bombs but I think I want to try them! I need candy molds! And Lindas white castle pie, I forgot about that!

Tony is home late but we gotta walk so I better get going!!!!
