My LC & fasting Journal.
Hi all, I am back after almost 2 years. Still in the same boat but my priorities have changed and plans too. So anyway, following up on a thread I created almost 2 years (!!) ago, I have now outlined a plan of doing LC with IF to see how it goes in terms of inches lost and weight loss (if applicable).
I'll post my results here every day to keep me motivated to stick to it. I dont have much to lose, just about 8-10kg, but recently joined a gym to ensure I get atleast 5 days of workout every week ALSO signed up for a marathon next Jan so I better get moving now. I have 2 more weeks of NOT running (as I am recovering from a small stress fracture on my foot) so these next 2 weeks are more or less easy workouts & I can afford to experiment and give my body time to adapt to the new eating routine before I am back to my regular workouts in 2 weeks time. The main idea of IF in between LC is to see if I can get leaner and maybe shave of a few pounds of fat more which results in less weight on my feet So for those who are interested: Day 1 - fast Day 2 - LC (range of - 1300 calories: 90g fat/90g protein/ 25g carb) Day 3 - fast Day 4 - LC and so on. I will also post my weight fluctuations every 2nd day. That is the weight on the morning of every LC day. & inch loss every week. Also, as additional nutrition, I do take a multivitamin & a calcium (with mag/vitD/boron) supplement on all LC days only. |

Prepping.
I will start with tomorrow being my Day 1 as I am on leave and can sleep through the headaches I am going to trigger by fasting and drinking water only. May take a pain killer to get me through as I get terrible headaches

Day 1 - 31/5 - Ate lightly as we had guests over and I didnt want to raise any unwanted questions yet. Stopped eating after 6pm.
Day 2 - 01/6 - Fasted till 6 pm. Then had a LC dinner and slept by 9pm Day 3 - 02/6 - Had breakfast & lunch in LC. Stopped eating by 6pm. (30min cardio + 30min weights = C+W) Day 4 - 03/6 - Fasted till 6pm. Had LC dinner and slept by 9pm. (C+W as above) Day 5 - 04/6 - Had breakfast & dinner (no lunch). Stopped eating by 9pm.
