I want to break a couple necks this summer...without my hands

Day 1 of keto diet

Diet:

Sausage, Tuna, Greek Yogurt

2 Hamburger patties

grilled chicken breast

Shrimp

Slim jims and mozzarella cheese

Hamburger patties with cheddar cheese

Exercise:

23 min jog to work

38 min walk home

Notes:

First day of keto diet went great!

Wednesday 5/29/13

Diet:

Meal 1 - yellowfin tuna fish, sausage, and strawberry greek yogurt

Meal 2 - chocolate whey protein shake

Meal 3 - 2 hamburger patties with mayonnaise

Meal 4 - 2 chicken breasts with tobasco sauce and mayonnaise

Snack - shredded cheddar cheese

Meal 5 - hamburger patty with cheddar cheese and mayonnaise

Meal 6 - shrimp

Exercise:

1 hour of weightlifting

Walk home from work 45 minutes

Notes:

This is going easier than I thought. Still no cravings for sweets and sugar fiend. I did feel a lil cloudy a few times but wore off once I ate. I'm ingesting no more than 30 carbs a day but I'm quite sure I'm in ketosis already, my breath bangs lol. Making progress on the scale already, last Wednesday I weighed in at 216.2lbs (bet it went up to 218lbs after memorial weekend) today I weighed in at 214lbs.

Short term goal is 210lbs, mid goal is 200lbs, long term goal is 190lbs. I miss being able to slide in size 31 jeans, my size 34s are a bit snug right now.

Notes:

Improved my run time to work today. Should be able to hit 20 minutes within a month. I'm freaking beat. Keto has me feeling sore all over. Thank goodness I'm off work tomorrow, takes some stress off from focusing on the diet. I will upload a recent before pic later tonight. If I can stick with keto for 2 months, I'll have the body I want.

So I actually cheated on Friday at 6pm for 24 hours and jumped right back into Keto after. Tomorrow will be my first week done and I must say it's going exceptionally well thus far. I still haven't experienced any fiend like crazy feelings over carb foods yet.... Well actually dinner with the family ****ing sucked yesterday.

Everyone was eating their delicious well seasoned carb loaded foods and I just ate a plate of kobaski. This never happened to me before but my muscles have been sooooo sore on keto, I read I probably have a calcium, manganesum, and potassium deficiency so I made sure to start taking my vitamins pronto.

I also was turning into a mean son of a *****, I don't see how folks do low carbs for super long extended periods of time. What really made me upset tho was looking in the mirror and scale for instant results. The scale did say 212lbs but I looked sooooo flabby and fat in the mirror. It really pissed me off....

After the carb load up tho, I looked ok and could see the changes like a little more definition in the stomach area. My woman said my face looked thinner.

Anyway, about to hit up the gym then work.

7/5/13 Wednesday

Diet:

Meal 3 - sausage, scrambled eggs

Exercise:

1 hour of weightlifting

Notes:

Keto is taking it's toll on my body. My muscles are still very sore and has me move around old mannish at times. My lifts have all gone down and I don't feel that energized to lift anymore. I can't run for prolonged periods of time anymore either so I do HITT cardio instead. Scale read 211.6lbs today So that's motivating me to keep it up. Taking a vacation this Friday, I may do a 48 hour carb load up because 24 hours sounds unrealistic while on vacation.

lol you ladies are too sweet.


Soooo after one month of keto, actually I'll just say low carbing because I was consuming about 30g of carbs per a day, I lost 11lbs. It's actually somewhat disappointing. I could of swore before when I keto'd before I lost more weight than this in a month.... I guess my mind is playing tricks on me.

I am now into phase 2 of the diet and now I'm consuming no more than 10g of carbs per day. Even tho I cheat 2 days a week, going into month 2 of keto has been tough. I miss eating whatever, whenever but on the plus side this diet makes you become super disciplined.

I definitely can see prominent changes around my face, my abs are trying their best to make a presence known but still a long ways to go. 7lbs away from my mid term goal of 200lbs. I should be able to hit that in 3 weeks.

I hate when I have incredibly super busy days at work, I just want to go home and drown myself in alcohol. Just got to hold out 2 more days for a cheat day. Hope I hit 203.4lbs on the scale Friday.
