I just can't seem to get my act going with anything, with my diet, with things I need to do around the house, anything...I have no drive or motivation right now, things are crappy here right now which is pretty much the normal, always so much turmoil, everything is a fight, and everything is so complicated, no money, got a flat tire, a bad flat-bad enough to hear the air escaping, no way to go anywhere, need to go to store but can't, only store within walking distance(who wants to walk in the heat) is a local owned jacked up prices type of store. I know I am pathetically whiny today, haven't weighed in several days, I have got to get back on track, my life just feels so out of control right now.

Just checking in RG. I hope things are going better for you today. And I'm sorry things are so stressful in your life. It certainly doesn't help with any weight loss aspiration.

One thing that has helped me is to realize (and it took a long time) that other people don't have any control over how I feel, or what I do. If they do, it's because I let them. Standing up for yourself and being firm can cause a whole lot of drama and resistance in the beginning, but as you continue to stand firm, those people will begin to respect you more and more. Not an easy process, but totally worth it.

Hang in there! You can do this!

Me too, glad to see you back here. It sure is tough to get started, no doubt. I just wish I could share with you how great you are going to feel once you really get into the swing of it. You (I) just can't describe it effectively. And you just can't imagine it until you've experienced it. I want it so bad for you girl!

It's funny because I am not normally a weepy person, some people even find me on the cold side, well I was already down .8 after day one, pretty amazing because of TOM, I'm sure it was just excessive water or whatever, I weighed in at 322 yesterday morning, and this morning 321.2...looking forward to being able to change my weight tracker here in a few weeks, I kept it at my low...I couldn't bare to record an increase on it haha!! It feels good to be back on track, I even drank some lemon water yesterday, not enough water for sure-but hey better than pop!! Luckily I found another fruit I really really like..plums...and only 30 calories, so that helps...2 fruits that I actually like now plums and grapes...oh and pears so 3 - and I can do nectarines, got a mango at store today, anyone know when they are ripe? Guess I could google it...

Mmmm- love mango...it should be slightly soft to the touch, maybe as much as ripe peach.

Thank you for mango information, was down .2 today for a total of 1 pound lost, 7 more to get back to my low. Today makes my second down day, it feels great to be back on plan, I think just mentally it helps because I have actually got off my butt and done housework for 3 days in a row, dogs even got baths!

Glad to see you're back on it RG! I know what you mean about being munchy but not hungry. I was that way my last DD too. Mostly my DDs are pretty easy at this point, so when that munch monster rears its ugly head, it's kinda hard to deal with.

You'll be back to your low and lower very soon!

317.6 this morning- that's 1.8 down since yesterday, 4.4 since restarting and 3.6 til my low. That makes me happy. But even more important than the weight loss is the rememberance of 12 years ago today, my thoughts and prayers for America today just not for comfort but for safety to everyone in dc today

317.4 after my up day yesterday. Always amazing to see any loss after up day, especially since I had a big weight loss yesterday.

Today has just been crappy, and I have been so hungry and with a headache and irritable, I am eating some gluten free chicken strips, sure that's too many calories for the day but I can't help it, I think my blood sugar or something is off, hopefully I don't screw my down day up completely, I did turn down other food that I would of likes to have so yay me lol

RG- it could be hormones. I get like this few days after TOM is over for only 1 day. I mark this on my calendar and see pattern every month. Maybe that's what it is. Hang in there

Down another 1.2 after my hungry down day woooooo hoooooo, 316.2- makes 5.8 total-and I am now only 2.2 from my lowest on this plan-and what is on my tracker! I was worried that I would go way over my calories yesterday, have had so many days of losses that I know at some point it will quit, I swear what screwed me up last time was setting a weight goal if 299 by Labor Day, as soon as I set that goal I stopped losing, be no more of that nonsense! I will get there when I get there-once I get back to my tracker weight of 314 I will be back to 20 pounds lost- and then hopefully I can start working on the next chunk
