First day-need to lose 50 lbs.
This is the first day of my low carb diet. I am going to eat 20 net carbs a day and not count calories at all. Now I am using the Atkins app on my phone to track my carbs only (I don't even want to know the calorie count).
Several years ago I lost a lot of weight on Atkins and it wasn't hard. I didn't even count that strictly. I pretty much just cut out the breads, pastas, potatoes, sugar, white flour, etc. etc. I am hoping to have the same success this time. I'll go ahead and tell you what I weigh today - 191.5. I do not plan to weigh every day or even every week - I actually hate the scale. It is such a jerk! ![]() |

Sounds like you have a good plan laid out and with the app you'll be able to track everything. I find that being accurate with my food logging helps a lot. Good luck on your journey.
