Oh boy, up a few pounds this week. Guess I've been getting a little too lenient.....Honestly haven't stuck to my eating plan exactly. 143.2 on the scale this morning, eeeeek. Ok I need to tighten things up. I'm going for what I know best and that's a 2 week induction.

I'm going to do some refresher reading on this today so I do it right. I've done it many times but it's easy to settle into higher rungs too soon even if the carbs are on target. I am not going to drink wine for 2 weeks either. IF I must drink it's vodka and seltzer only (lower carb by a lot!).

Ok so here goes, 20 carb limit today (give or take a few).

Jessica, I am also going to tighten things up. I am in my dangerous time (as you know ) so I have to watch out for carbs. We can do it, girl!

Have a beautiful weekend.

P.S. enjoy the eggs lucky girl

Well induction didn't work out too well, Each day I wake up and think this is the day I will eat exactly according to plan, but then something comes up.....Not sure why these feelings are so strong lately.

I'm calling November CHEAT FREE month. Time to really stick to plan!

Day 1 - Cheat Free November!! Is there a thread for this somewhere on here?

I'm so motivated to eat clean today, I had WAY too much chocolate last night I managed to hold back on everything at the halloween/baby shower/birthday work party. No sweets what so ever! Cheese and veggies and a little spinach dip (with a fork!). I even skipped the yummy looking sherbet punch and had a glass of red wine instead.

It was later that I got the munchies, after we finished trick or treating with the kids we went to my mom's for dinner but she didn't have ANYTHING that I wanted (potatoes, french bread, and pork loin sopping in a teryaki glaze syrup mixture, AHH! Yuk!!). So I ate chocolate. Lots of it. But I'm done!!! I got my Halloween treat craving out of my system, yay!!! Now on to clean eating.....

So here goes- no straying from this menu today!!!!!

Today:
BRK - 2 pumpkin bars (gluten, grain, and dairy free)
LCH - 2 chicken thighs and green beans (leftovers!)
SNK - tomato, cuke, and onion slices with newmans oil & vinegar dressing
DNR - ham steak, asparagus, and a little hollandaise
DRK - coff, and since its the weekend yes, I will have a drink or two tonight

P.S. I'm going make homemade mayo this weekend! So excited.

Oh, and scale is a bit better, 141 this morning. Not weighing until next Friday- after a full 7 days of no cheats I hope to see good results!!!! I CAN DO THIS!1

Quick morning check in, weekend was GREAT. DH left a day early, on Saturday....he won't be back until Friday (Unless of course he gets a deer before then!!)

I think my dear husband is one of the main reasons I cheat because without him here it has been pretty easy. I hardly drank at all this weekend, and don't plan to have any drinks tonight either. Dessert is not even on my mind since I'm not watching DH plow ice cream at the end of the night. Out of sigh out of mind I think?!?!

Did a short kettlebell workout Saturday, plan to do LBWO at lunch today (Focus T25). Last time I did this one was in July and I was sore for DAYS!!! Bring it on!

Todays Menu:
BRK - 2 little eggs (see below) and some avocado and cheddar slices
LCH - Ham salad (made with homemade mayo and relish!) on Spinach
SNK - Celery stix dipped in almond butter
DNR - Paleo chicken fingers and sweet potato fries
DRK - coff, water
IF needed I have two pumpkin bars left as an additional snack

Look what the ladies left us yesterday, the two little ones are for breakfast, nom nom:

I'm eating that BIG egg today for breakfast, Mmmmmmm.... going to add a little cheddar and avocado to it. Super excited it's going to be GOOD, those little eggs yesterday were so rich. I'm officially addicted to fresh eggs, hope my ladies keep laying!!!

Got a call from the school yesterday right in the middle of my LBWO, Aiden had a slight fever of 100 and had to be picked up, really? Ok so I go get him and after we're back home he's totally fine. No fever, he's hungry and wants to play. He's been fine since too. Ok so the school is paranoid because of flu season, I get that....but gosh it was such a light fever, I think the whistle might have blown a little too soon. Oh well. Better be safe than sorry right?

I did end up finishing my LBWO and am staring to feel the DOMS creep in. LOVE it!!!

The paleo chicken fingers were a hit with Aiden, my daughter not so much, she's sp picky!! She ate one nugget and all her cottage cheese. She wouln't even touch the sweet potato fries. Aiden ate a bunch of his though. I DEVOURED my chicken and fries. It was so comforting!! I even dipped the chickn and fries in my homemade mayo, YUMMY!!!

Todays Meals:
BRK - 1 big egg, 2 cheddar slices, 1/2 avocado
LCH - chicken salad (leftover cooked chicken from last night, homemade mayo, homemade relish, on spinach with banana peppers and tomato slices)
SNK - turkey and homemade mayo wrapped in a romaine lettuce leaf
DNR - Cheeseburgers on salad
DRK - coff, water, and a couple vodka seltzers tonight (if my BFF comes up, I'm getting lonely without DH around!)

Those pumpkin bars sound delicious! I have almond flour and pumpkin puree in there. Was going to make pumpkin bake again, but maybe I will try the bars instead this time. Do you know the carb count on them? The calories? Doesn't look like the recipe really says that...unless I just am not looking in the right place.

How fortunate you are that your chicken lays eggs!! Yay for you Nothing like fresh eggs.

Have a great day. Sorry about the little one, but just think of it as a treat in the middle of the week. You get your baby home! Enjoy the afternoon with him

Ok let's do the math and see what these babies come out to:

1 c. Almond Flour = 16 net carb
1 c. Splenda granulated = 24 net carb
1 can Pumpkin = 28 net carb
3 eggs + spices, etc.. = 5 net carb
1 c. oil = 0 net carb

Total for recipe = 73
I made 20 bars I think, which equaled roughly 4 carbs per piece or so? if you make 15 bars like the recipe calls for it would be roughly 5 carbs each. NOT BAD!! And they are GOOD carbs too. Note- I did NOT make the frosting. Didn't need it. These are easy to overeat, so be careful, YUMMY alert!!

Yesterday was good! Followed my plan exactly! Checked the scale out of curiosity and I'm down to 138.6 YIPPEE! Within a few pounds of my happy goal weight is perfect!! Going to keep on with the CHEAT FREE days it's hard but I feel great!!!

todays menu:
BRK - 1 egg (from my chickens, they laid another one!) plus some feta melted on top
LCH - leftover cheeseburger on salad
SNK - skipping because I am having appetizers as an early dinner
DNR - apps at the bar, headed over after work with some other girls (also hunting widows this week) to have drinks and snacks.
DRK - coff, and yes some vodka seltzers.

At the bar my plan is to have wings first, and then if I get hungry again later I will probably have some ceaser salad or maybe cocktail shrimp. I'm not cheating tonight!!!

CHEAT FREE DAYS IN A ROW - 5

Man last night was a struggle!! All the yummy tempting bar food I was surrounded by, fries...pizza..sliders...OMG!!! I said NO to it all. Wow!!! Normally I would have said it was a special occasion and what are a few bites??!! Not this month, I'm committed to eating clean. And it's showing on the scale!!!

137.6 today, woo-hoo!! Wasn't going to weight but I"m glad i did. It makes me that much more motivated to STAY STRONG.

CHEAT FREE DAYS IN A ROW = 6

Todays Meals:
BRK - 2 small eggs from my chickens (yay for more!) scrambled with cheddar and ham
LCH - Tuna w/homemade mayo, dill relish, on spinach with tomato and banana peppers
SNK - walnuts and laughing cow cheese
DNR - cheese steaks (shaved beef with green peppers and onions topped w/melted american cheese, side of broc)
DRK - coff, water.....no alcohol tonight

Don't have time to get any exercise in today....ugh. Maybe tomorrow at lunch I can squeeze in an UBWO from Focus T25. Certainly going to try!

Quick post-- Did not weigh today but will tomorrow (the morning got away from me, I had already eaten something and had big glass of water - oops - I try to always weigh before having ANYTHING in the day so I didn't bother).

Anyway, CHEAT FREE DAYS IN A ROW = 7

Yay!! Yesterday was easy, I wasn't exposed to any temptations and ate exactly to plan.

Today will be different and now the struggle to stay cheat free REALLY begins. HUBBY COMES HOME TODAY!!! I am so excited to see him after 6 nights away, this is the longest we have ever been apart in our 14+ years together. I miss him so much, but the bad news is that while he was away it was so much easier for me to stay on track. Now comes the hard part.

Oh and guess what? DH got a buck!!! 9 pointer!! so we will have fresh venison this winter :-)

Well I have to report that the consecutive cheat free days has been broken, but I'm getting right back up and starting again.

I made it through Friday, no problem. Saturday morning I was at 136.6, super excited!!!

Got up to 8 cheat free days, then Saturday we headed out for the 2 hour drive up to Jay Peak where would play at the indoor waterpark and stay overnight at the hotel. I was so unprepared for the lack of eating options!!! It is completely my fault, and then after Saturday night not eating well, I followed it up with a Sunday morning of STILL not eating well. I'm pretty disappointed in myself. However I left the bad eating there and on our way home got right back on track!! I even ordered a double cheeseburger on lettuce with onions pickles (no bun) from McD's on our way home. I did super from that point on. I could have EASILY continued on the bad path and just said SCREW it. But I Held strong. Last night we had green beans, a 7 lb roasted chicken, and sweet potato for dinner (DH had a regular baked tater).

So CHeat Free days in November so far = 8/10

Not going to weigh today, don't want to know!! Will wait until Wednesday and give it a check. Going to do a Cardio workout at lunch - I think todays will be Core Cardio from Focus T25.

Todays Menu:
Brk - 1 fresh egg, 2 pieces deli ham, 1 pc american cheese
Lch - salami, banana peppers, olives, mozz on spinach with newmans o+v dressing
Snk - Turkey slices
Dnr - Spaghetti squash with sausage, venison burger, zucchini chunks, and mozzarella cheese
Drk - coff, water, no alcohol tonight
