How's it going? It was a good day for me - 144.8! Awesome for me! Near 0 carbs and around 500 cal for two days jerked my scale around for sure!

Hi girls so sorry I have been gone. Did not do it on purpose. Had Diab. class all Tue night In Cincinnati. Then 2 very long days 13 and 15 hours. I will try to get caught up on numbers. Last night the numbers were ok a hair higher and had ate very late so my numbers were up but I just had a salad with no frills so don't know why the 2 lbs jump just JUDDD I guess or my carbs were too high but I don't think so.

I was so glad to see your post in your JUDDD thread. We were wondering about you! Sounds like a busy and stressful week, all of which can explain the bouncy weigh-in. You're doing fine!

BTW, what is Diab class? Am I dense and missing something obvious?

Hey Monica how is your son doing? better I hope. I will go tonight and read all journals and check on carol on JUDDD. How is you restart doing Monica. Great I hope. I hope this weekend goes slow because I will be awol again starting on Monday and Tue and I am about up for another trip wed or Thur. I will post as soon as I can next week.

Carol I am going to check on you on the other site. How is your restart going. Great I hope. Is the higher numbers working for you? I have taken 4 hours of classes for diabetics. I have 4 more hours next tue. Just trying to get educated about it since I am close to being prediabetic.

Susan I tried to read every ones last posts for the last couple of days before I left this afternoon so I could see where every one is. Congrats. You are doing great. I am proud of all of you.Keep up the great work.

Sandy sorry I was awol. I have come home late the last 3 days so tired I can not see straight. And that was no joke. You are doing good girl. You will see drops every few days. You won't be bounceing like me.

I had my chart easier to read but when I hit post in crouded it all together. So sorry. I am bounceing around but I know it is just a matter of time and then down I go again. I have ate late every night but have ate on plan pretty much. I ate pork rinds for the first time in awhile and that may have helped the bounce last night with the late eating.

Oh the weather is still crazy. One day it was 81 and the next morning we woke to 1 1/2 in. of snow on the cars and yards. Go figure. It rained this morning and is Sunny but real cool now.

Well I am off to read everyones journals but first I am going to go to JUDDD to see what Carol is up too! Love and hugs to all

Its the weekend weapppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp!

Numbers today in 143.5 down from 146 yesterday.

Just dived into a lowcarb blueberry creamcheese coffee cake that just came out of the oven. Landed head first in it and it was sooooooo good! 210 cal. 7 net carbs a piece. Ok I confess I ate 1 1/2 pieces. I could not help my self it was nice and warm and oh man my kitchen smelled so good. so 315 cals and will say 11 carbs for breakfast. See you all later. I will share Carol It is all legal lowcarb. It was so good warm.

Its about 75 here and sunny. I walk mowed a 1/2 acre of land to day to work off the cake. Now I am so tired I can't move. Hope you are having fun today.

Judy your cheesecake sounded divine....where do you get all your recipe's from is it from this board or somewhere else.....as soon as I get to maintenance I want to have a go at the odd treat here and there.....can't wait, its been so long since I have had a real treat.....sounds like you are getting a lot of exercise in....its good to feel tired sometimes from being out in the fresh air.....and luck you 75 degree's, we can't seem to get out of the 55 degrees at the moment...I know its coming but I wish it would hurry up.....have a great day Judy.

Hi girls I have been busy reading your journals this morning. The answer to both of you is it is from a man from the food chanel that use to be on cooking lowcarb all the time. I have all 5 of his books. You can order them from his web site called Stella Style. Don't go into the form it is just about dead now as he went to face book and all followed I guess. But you can get all books from the main page and you can download on to kindle and get them cheaper. The first book you can get in book stores. He sold all the rest from Qvc which is from tv here Sandy.

Smalls It is used with splenda but you can do any kind of sub. for sugar. Or make it and count it different for real sugar. It also has soy flour and almond flour in it. They use a lot of both kinds of flour.

Well I am off to get moms shopping done and wash done for the week.

If there is anything you want to cook lowcarb I have about 12 cookbooks that I have collected from the thrift stores that I can look it up and type it out for you. One book is six ingredients or less per recipe 0 to 6 grams per serving. You all can do anything in that book as long as you count it now.

Great weight Judy....you are beating me woman lol....that is a good idea, I love thrift stores I will have a wander around some of them this week as I think there are about 6 in our little town, it would be great to have some low carb recipe books, if I can't find any I will buy the book you told me called Stella style...thanks for that and the idea to go look, also our local bookshop might have something....thanks for the idea's Judy.

Thanks girls I just got back from shopping for the week and found Woman's World May 5 2014 issue. I found it a krogers and walmart. It has new shortcut to Atkins. So I bought it of course. It only cost 1.79 and you find them at all big stores check out lanes. In it smalls It suggest Jimmy Dean 3 cheese omelet for traveling to work or made ahead 2eggand 2oz. cheese omelet at home. or any lowcarb shake or bar of atkins that are 3 net carbs or under. I have found the Edge low carb drinks the lowest in cal and carbs. If you look at them make sure you look at lowcarb ones. They have body building ones right beside them and you can get one of them by accident. I think vanilla and strawberry are 100 cal and choc is 110 I know the carbs are real low. Lower the any of the other drinks out there. That is why I made the cake this weekend so I can grab and go. I make up dishes that are lowcarb and divide them by serveings then grab and heat or go which ever I have time for. Also Make muffins ahead sometimes.

Count today 290 cal. 5 carbs. weight 144.2

Fingers crossed for a drop for all . Oh Sandy the name of the first book is eating stella style. The book I use a lot is Six Ingredients or less by carlean Johnson Low carb cooking. You might be able to get on the computer and look thru used books for sale from the book stores. Some times I can find old books form 60's and 70's there and get them for $1.00 on up. Of course some are used but they have always come in in great shape. I have not got a bad one yet.

Love to all I will be gone for the next two nights for sure maybe 3 in a row again this week starting Mon. So don't panic I will try to let you know numbers if I can.

I remember that George Stella show! I was disappointed that they kept showing the same episodes over and over and there weren't that many of them. I saw that he was on FB and I probably should follow him over there.

Carol I never saw him on that show. I just found his site one night and joined his group while they were on the regular site. When everyone went to face book I dropped out because I don't go on it. So I found this site a few years later and here I am. I met George one weekend in Tenn. We ate supperbeside him the first night. Then the 2nd day he took us threw the local store and showed us all the good carb stuff to buy and what to stay away from. After that we bought about $400. of food and headed to the Mt. to cook. He cooked from about 1 or 2pm till after midnight. He gave us all 2 dvds for buying all the food so he could cook lunch and supper for us. It was so neat.

Well I better start reading journals. Classes tomorrow night from 5 till 9 then drive back so it will be late tomorrow when I get home.
