Hello Ladies

Guess what? I lost another 1 lb. That's 3.2 lbs in total!

Not that I deserve it because I did binge yesterday, I planned it as I left work. Had an hour before Wayne got home from work and stuffed down about 2500 calories in the space of 20 minutes.

I didn't tell him, so you guys are the only ones that know.
Anyhoo... onwards and erm,. downwards!!

I've got the back door open today and all cats and kittens are outside playing in the run loving the sunshine. Kittens were at the vets for their 2nd vaccinations this morning and their ID chips and Ruin (Maine Coon boy) had his booster - at just over a year old he weighs 6.8kg!!!!

Good job Gina! On the loss part! I can relate on the stuffing down 2500 calories part. It's funny to see people say they couldn't eat that in a day. Ha! I can go from zero to 2500 in no time flat if I put my mind to it!

That kitties sound delightful. I saw Ruin on your blog and he is lovely. He looks like he's quite a personality!

Have a great day!

Carol - he's got bags of character! He's more like a dog than a cat and he chats constantly he even talks to the water bowl!

Aleina - it certainly seems to be working at the moment so fingers crossed I can keep it up.

OH that is so me too. When people on the JUDDD board say, I can't eat UP TO my UD calories, in my mind I am thinking....heck I could not only meet it but DOUBLE it !

Gina Well it is over and done girl! that is the dangerous time for me too. I get home a few minutes before DH, sometimes up to an hour before! DANGEROUS!

I got a bit tearful last night and Wayne bought me a chocolate bar... saying only one wont hurt you... i got even more tearful - still not told him about the binge the other night.

Anyway.... down another 0.4 lbs that's 3.6 lbs in 3 days! I'm over the moon

Only managed an hours sleep last night, contemplated ringing in sick for work: wish I had, my boss is insisting I wear my suit jacket on the reception desk. Old building no air con and I quite literally have sweat dripping down my back - I refused, no doubt this will cause a whole s*itload of trouble later but I'm sticking to my guns. I know we have a dress code but I also know the regional manager understands ours isn't like the other centres that are all shiny and new with air con etc,.

Only 9.20 and already in need of extra spoons*

* For those who aren't aware read The Spoon Theory xx

Hi Marika..
I have an overwhelming feeling of 'calm' today even though I'm in pain, don't know maybe things are gonna start looking up health wise. I know by losing weight it will change how things work x

Don't fret being nosey. I have Celiac disease, eating Gluten Free is my only option!

Attack phase day 6.
Bit of a bounce (unsurprising!) back to 191.0
However I think I miss-calculated because that's still 4.2 since Monday
So yesterday when I was at 189.8 I'd actually lost 5.4?? Is that right? Worst thing about fibro = not being able to grasp simple things, getting confused & frustrated xx

Ahhh Ok, I've sussed it. On Friday I'd lost 1.8 lbs not 0.8 like I put!
Makes sense now.

I've learnt 2 very valuble lessons this week:
1) Gluten Free may be the way forward, when doing LC & Dukan I don't suffer as bad
2) Maybe I should be thinking about cutting out dairy too? I already have Lactose free milk which has stopped headaches etc,. but maybe I should be cutting out cheese too How will I cope not having cheese on toast?

Oh well let's se how I get on over the weekend. x

Gina- you had a great week!

I have stopped eating grains 12 years ago and don't miss them at all. I use almond flour to bake breads and muffins. I have also cut down on milk but eat yogurt regularly and cottage cheese once in a while.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Gina - Sounds like you have a good plan. I don't know how to cut dairy out. I eat cottage cheese and cheese almost daily! Let me know how you decide to proceed!

Hey Ladies

9 days of Attack phase = -7.6 lbs (Now completed)
Cruise phase starts today so I can eat veg/salad on alternate days.

Weight loss wise this diet is working really well for me unfortunately it isn't doing my health a lot of good, I've got the swelling back in my wrists and ankles and having to rely heavily on my inhalors again :-(

I had really hoped to stick to this but think I will try get down to about 182 then go back to JUDDD but with the standard EOD rotations instead of trying to be clever and mix it up. I'm also suffering with really bad headaches which I thought would have worn off after the first few days but haven't.

I've not been in work yet this week because I've not been sleeping well an just generally feeling meh

Happy hump Day xx

My goodness, Gina. I am so sorry to hear about the health issues. Were you feeling better when you were following JUDDD? I ask, because JUDDD can have health benefits besides the weight loss.
Could the tiredness be due to cutting the carbs. You know like when you have atkins flu at the beginning and than it goes away. Just wondering.
Take care of your health honey.

That loss is sure impressive, but if it's making you feel bleh.....that's a decision that's always tough to make. You might just be adjusting and feel better real soon, or it's possible that your body really doesn't like it. You'll make the right decision, I know.

A bounce on the scale this morning of 2.4lbs.... I've not had a BM for 3 days though!!
I am really starting to miss JUDDD and really wish I'd stuck it out but Wayne is convinced I should try and see this through. Feel bloated and crappy today!

Oh well... 2 clean days then I am having a drink on Saturday - to hell with it, I feel like I deserve it!
