I like cats and I like your avatar. However what struck me most is that it is a really nice photo of you . You seem to sparkle. Whatever you are doing is working.

Thank you so much ladies.
I really needed to read that this morning.

Don't know what's up with me this week, possibly TOM around the corner?!?! I take my pill EVERY day so I never actually have a proper TOM because with the Fibro pain alone it can make me sick sometimes but I do sometimes get the tummy twinges and the bloated feeling around the time it should be if that makes sense.

I've done pretty well with my cal targets this week but not had a BM since the weekend.

I'm feeling all over the place, can't hold a pen and can't finish a sentance and getting confused really easily. I was stood in the kitchen last night putting toppings on a pizza and I walked round in a circle 3 times because I forgot what I was doing (I was looking for a knife!) Wayne was p*ssing himself, it's only a small kitchen and he said I looked like a dog chasing his tail. I nearly burst into tears on the train this morning for no aparent reason - I think I need a holiday!!!

I'm going to try for a super clean DD today getting all my cals from fruit & green tea and nothing else.... We'll see how that pans out! x

Gina. It could very well be hormonal. I am always constipated before TOM and can cry in the heart beat.

Have a great fruity DD today!!!

Starting all over again - weigh more than before!

Ok so got home on Friday and collapsed in tears in a heap on the kitchen floor, no idea what started it but it provoked a long discussion with Wayne about my dieting and how it's affecting everything else.

Unfortunatly most of the medication I take has a side effect of weight gain but until I get my referral to the mental health/eating disorder clinic no one will alter my meds

We sat on the kitchen floor and talked for about an hour, about the diets I've tried and what I've been most successful with. I have loved the freedom of doing JUDDD but in essance I think that has also been my undoing.

As of today (Weighing in at an all time high of 195.2) I am starting the Dukan Diet. According to the website my ideal weight is 126, the 'Weight Loss Curve' also seems to think I can reach that goal by the end of next January:

So between now and 06/24/13 I will be doing the Pure Protein Attack phase. I'm not sure yet whether I should weigh daily or just weigh either on a Friday or at the end of the first phase....

Watch this space x

Gina... I have read that lots of people have great results from Dukan.
I think you will do great! I am sure once you change the meds, the things will improve as well. Take care sweetie. You can do it!!!!!!

Sounds like a great plan. I was going to wish you luck but looking at your menu today you don't need it. You are doing great. But you cannot have too much luckso wishing you a heap of it.
A question how do you make Vietnamese beef? Sounds like a great change to my diet .

I don't know much about Dukan, but that rate of loss sounds great. Good luck with this plan. I'm so sorry it has all become so much of a stress to you. Life should be fun....at least enjoyable, at any weight. No WOE should make you so unhappy. I'll be watching with great interest!

I think a lot of if not all of the Dukan diet recipes would be acceptable on Atkins x

Ok well.. 2.2 lbs down since yesterday.
Had a few 'should I be doing this' moments last night where all I could think about was food & I thought maybe I should quit the dieting until I've been to the mental health/eating disorders clinic (still waiting for my referral!) but then I had a cup of tea and told my inner fat person to shut the hell up and stop moaning.. seemed to work & it's defo paid off x

Menu plan for today:

L: Sliced ham and cottage cheese
S: ff Yogurt
D: Sirloin Steak & Egg
S: ff Yogurt

Also planning to make some Dukan crunchy ginger Oatbran biscuits when I get home from work as Oatbran is one of the major factors in this diet.

You're also supposed to factor in 20 minutes of exercise.
Yesterday I spent about 30 minutes walking round the City Centre on my lunch break, today as I finish at 1.30pm I will do 20 minutes on my Eliptical trainer when I get home!

Having a bit of a moment... all I want to do is eat.
Boss know's I'm struggling pain-wise today (walking with a stick again!) yet has insisted I walk all round the building and distribute milk, tea, coffee etc,. to all 7 kitchens on 2 floors and then set up a conference for 16 people with catering.
I'm in agony and close to tears xx

Sorry about the boss being so non understanding. I hope the pain eases during the day for you. I would like to put a thought in your head though and that is that you are a really strong woman to carry on working even if in that much pain. My hat is off to you.
The blog is a great idea. I will certainly read. You are off to a great start !
