Gina - hope you are feeling better today! I haven't heard JUDDD causing any issues with dreams due to meds, but you have to do what is best for you!

Possibly.. at the moment I am just sooo tired. I'm getting tests done next week for thyroid problems which could be the problem but I think the concoction of medication I take with so few calories probably doesn't help.

I desperately want to continue with JUDDD but can't think of anything else that could be contributing to the tiredness, so far people keep telling me I have to 'keep me strength up' and make sure I'm eating enough - bleughhh... that is defo NOT something I have a problem with.

___

Today is an up day, take out tonight with a few drinks then going to do my Down day as planned tomorrow and take it from there xx

WTG on your losses Gina!

I wonder if you're simply going through the normal adjustment period to JUDDD. I'm afraid that if you keep swapping plans, your poor body will never get settled into anything and you'll never really know what any given WOE can do for you. If you can stand it, I hope you'll stick with JUDDD for at least a few more weeks to see if you can adjust and start reaping some of the incredible health benefits it can provide - along with losing weight. I'm cheering for you!!!

Hang in there honey! I certainly feel for you with all you've got going on. Try to stick with JUDDD and see if things pass. You've been doing so well and it does seem to suit you. Maybe try different combos of food to see if maybe it revvs you up alittle? Being tired really bites, so I hope you're able to find a fix soon.

Well I'm going to shake off this weekend and work on a super good DD today:
511 calories is what I have planned so we'll see

I'm frustrated with myself because the first week doing JUDDD I lost 5.2 lbs and I've not lost any more since apart from the 0.2 lbs last week because I've been going overboard and I mean *OVERBOARD* on my Up days...

I weighed in yesterday morning at 204.4. so that's my starting (again!) weight..

Lunch went well... struggling to drink water today though but I'll be happy if I can get through 2 x 500 ml, I'm drinking tonnes of tea so I'm sure that adds up in my fluid intake also x

Good going on lunch Gina. I have read so many different opinions on water intake, and the one I choose to believe is that all liquids count, even coffee and tea. I drink most of my fluids in the form of iced tea. I don't enjoy drinking plain water all that much, but I love my iced tea with lemon!

Try not to get frustrated. You're figuring it all out right now. I've had my share of UDs that got completely away from me, even for weeks at a time. Just recently I had to rein in my UD calories and the losses started happening regularly for me again. It was worth it! You can do this!

Ok well I'm back had a bad end to last week which ended in me agreeing to work full time all week, this will be the first time in 3.5 years that I've done this. I decided that although I love JUDDD there's certain food monsters I need to tame first, I was managing the down days really well but going crazy on my up days so totally forgot (intentionally) about dieting this weekend and as of today I will start logging again and sticking to 1600 calories every day like the nurse has asked me to do. I weighed in this. Morning; 207 lbs.. my highest ever and feel so bloated and eughhhh!

Gina-sorry to hear about last week I wonder if you ever tried following JUDDD with lower carbs to tame the appetite on UD. In case you never did maybe it is worth trying it. It seems to work well for me. Just a thought.

Hope you have better week ahead

I'm on my own at work today, there was supposed to be a temp in at 12.30 to cover my lunch and operate the switchboard this afternoon so I can take over the managers work as she's not in but the temp hasn't turned up... so it seems sods law that I've got a stomach upset and haven't been able to stop rushing to the loo all morning on the plus side that's got to help with the weight loss I'm sure!!!

Helloooooo...
I'm here *waves* thank you all for checking in on me

Deary me when did I post last? It was the Monday I was sat here at my desk on my own coz I'd been let down by a temp...

Anyway, the Manager we had on the Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from another centre was great and we inevitably got onto the subject of diets which is when she revealed she'd lost 4 1/2 stone (63 lbs) in 9 months with slimming world.. so I bit the bullet...

Totally outside of my comfort zone but on Thursday 31st October I went to my local meeting and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I found the diet super easy to stick to and I'm never hungry... weigh-in number 1 and I'm down 3 1/2 lbs... I've paid up for 12 weeks so it takes me over Christmas and I'll see how I get on x
