Planning a good DD today

B: Toast & Marmite - 120c
L: 6 x Ryvita Crackerbread with Philadelphia - 200c
D: Chicken & Feta cheese Salad with garlic & Herb Dressing - 300c

620c... not gonna argue with that!

PS Think I've managed to change my pic too, I was changing my profile pic instead of my avatar which I think I've sorted now!!

Bandit, a photo sent to me from his new owners. He was one of the kittens from our last litter and as you can see he's totally settled into his new home!

Just testing to see if I can add photos now... if this doesn't work, I may sulk!

As I've sussed out how to do it (thank you PhotoBucket!) I thought I'd share one of Wayne & I as I'm always talking about him. This was taken at Mockfest in Manchester last year:

LOVE your pics! You and Wayne look so happy! I'm so glad he treats you very well.
Now I love Bandit the cat, too. I have a Siamese named Bandit. He has a crooked black moustache and it's adorable. I've got to get a journal going!

I also have fibromyalgia and all the other fun maladies that go along with it. It started at age 17 and I am now 59, so that is a good long while. Harder than the pain is the poor sleep. AND the disbelief, disrespect of so-called "friends" and "family." Then they wonder why you keep to yourself!! Now that I'm older, I decided life is so short, that I'm not taking anymore crap off of anyone!

Oops, sorry - did not mean to hijack your journal, just wanted you to know you've got a fibro friend along this Low Carb journey we're on!!

Thank you ladies

Not kept to my plans this past few DD's but weighed myself yesterday morning and still at 201.6 so not gained which I'm pleased about as I seem to have been eating none stop all last week.

DD today whilst I'm at work so the plan is:
B: Strong Tea
L: Crackerbread with Philadelphia - 160c
D: Steak & eggs - 360c

So about 520c if I can keep to it.... fingers crossed!!

JoeyB - Hi to a fellow fibro buddy, cr*p isn't it? I have managed the whole month of September without having a day off sick which is a big record for me since returning to work after 18 months off 2 years ago. I get so frustrated when I do have to phone in sick my boss always asks if I'm going to the doctors: what's the point it's more often than not something fibro related if I went *EVERY* time there was a new niggle I may as well book a seat in the waiting room! Latest problem is what feels like the beginnings of arthritis in my hands (I'm only 32 FFS!!) my knuckles are really swollen and it hurts to make a fist or straighten my fingers... a docs apt might actually be necessary this time!!

I have worked out that I need to lose 32 lbs to become overweight and no longer obese
I need to lose a further 29 lbs to become a healthy weight instead of overweight
I then *want* to lose another 14 lbs to become my ideal weight!
That's a whopping 75 lbs in total. I kicked my a$$ back into gear towards the end of September, started JUDDD again and lost 5.2 lbs
I want to aim to lose 7lbs a month which means I can hopefully lose the *wishful* 20 lbs by Christmas...

You can do it sweetie. It is good plan to breakdown the weight loss in lumps.
I am glad you are back on JUDDD and have a structure to follow.
Have a superb week ahead!

I have just realised I've done it, it may not seem like a big thing but I discussed hours etc,. with my boss at the beginning of the month and made a commitment to have no days off sick... and I've done it! This is probably the first month since returning to work in November 2011 that I've come in every day I'm supposed too.

That's a good feeling!

Well Thursday went a little over as an UD but only 20c over so not too bad... thought it would be more as we went out for a meal.

Wednesday... even with all the travelling over to my Mums then over to my Grandads, back to my Mums and then back to Manchester my DD still managed to come in at 520c so was a little disappointed not to see a bit of a downward bounce on the scale yesterday but have a very good DD planned again today:

B: Special K bar & Trop50 orange juice 120c
L: Leafy salad and Muller crunch yogurt 200c
D: Toast and marmite 260c

So fingers crossed when I weigh in tomorrow..... well we'll see!

Hmmm... it's 10.30 am and I just very nearly opened a packed of breakfast biscuits but beat the temptation by repeating:

"I'm not hungry, I'm bored..."

In my head 3 times..... I decided against the biscuits
Small victories and all that!

Exactly! We have pizza planned tomorrow - we buy 2 plain pizza bases from Asda (Walmart) for £2.00 and put pepperoni slices, peppers and chilis on them - saves at least £10 over buying in a takeaway!! x

Ok so another weigh in yesterday with no drop so decided I need to be a little more careful with my UD calories as of tomorrow, I think I've been going a little overboard! DD at 650 planned today as having left over Chinese from yesterday for dinner x

Sorry been MIA. Having problems at work, took Monday off because I'd had no sleep and was in so much pain I was struggling to get out of bed. My boss wasn't happy because it meant her in the office by herself, went in yesterday and she didn't speak two words to me - talk about childish!!! I'd rather her say she wasn't happy or that I let her down or whatever but she actually made me feel like I was back in high school
I've got a hospital appointment today, two suspect moles one on my chest & one on my knee that I'm getting checked out - I don't like hospitals!!
Then tomorrow morning I have a disciplinary meeting about having time off even though they knew when I came back to work 2 years ago that I suffer with 3 chronic illnesses so would more than likely take more sick days than most people!!

On the up side I'm down another 0.2 lbs this morning so that's 5.4 lbs on JUDDD in 3 weeks and I really haven't been that strict. Stepping up my game now really pleased with the loss so far x

Ps all clear at the hospital don't have to have the moles removed or anything!!

Gina, glad the moles are good.

Sorry about the work situation. What a childish behavior of your boss. Hang in there buddy!

So happy to hear about JUDDD working well

Whew! Glad those moles aren't anything to worry about!

The work situation - if they hired you knowing your health situation, then they have no right to question your days off at this point. People don't have much patience with conditions they can't "see". Like a broken leg, you'd have people waiting on you and telling you don't get up. But internal things that you feel but no one else can actually see, they somehow forget. Or think you're making it up. It's just not right. I'm sorry you're going through this!

Ok well 3 weeks on JUDDD and I've lost 6 lbs which means I'm on track with my 2 lbs a week target but hell I'm suffering, was talking to Wayne last night and I'm wondering if the constant swapping of calories is affecting how tired I am all the time when you add in the stupid amount of meds that I'm on. I've also started having really bad nights after a down day Had some crazy vivid dreams last night and feel like a zombie today.. not really sure where I go from here... possibly back to the recommended 1600 calories a day? I love JUDDD... just not sure while I'm on these meds that it's great for me!
