You're doing great! Good for you for getting the miles in--we all have to start somewhere, and pretty soon the feeling of being "unfit" will be a distant memory. Enjoy the ride! I hope that therapy helps you find enlightenment and strength

Ok so racked up a total of 10km in the last 5 days and have found there's a gym/pool a few streets away that do a great offer of £21.99 (approx. $35) per month membership with unlimited use of the pool, gym and all the classes they offer.... think I may just be signing up come pay day!

Weight still up, struggling with IBS and lack of BM's Determined to have least got back on track for my weigh day on Wednesday. Having an MD today want to aim for 13-1400c then a good DD tomorrow.. well that's the plan anyway! x

Good job on walking Gina! So lucky you have gym with pool near by.

Good luck with weigh-in on Wednesday. As you know the IBS with TMI can mess up the numbers, so keep that in mind sweetie

Such a bummer about IBS and TMI. That definitely holds the losses at bay for me, and I always have to remind myself of that. Did you see the thread on the JUDDD boards about a salt water cleanse? I'm considering doing one maybe later this month due to some uncharacteristic bloating and gas I've been having. It's said to "get things moving" as they say.

Wonderful about finding a place with a pool and hopefully some cool classes.

Arghhhhhh still not had a BM and even after a fairly decent MD yesterday (cos today had to be a DD) I weighed in at 201.8 this morning

Gonna try go as low as I can with calories today and just face the music at my weigh in tomorrow. I'm being so god damn good and not having things I shoudlnt' and still not losing. Very unhappy bunny right now, feeling very bloated and generally yuk!

Gina, don't worry about the weigh-in tomorrow. You are doing everything right but no BM can really mess up the numbers. So be it, next week you will see better number. It is just a stupid scale, not reflecting the whole truth.

I weighed in... 2 lbs more than when I started 5 weeks ago so yet again 'RE-START!'
Wednesday - I had a bit of a binge
Thursday - Road trip, had to go over and see my Grandad again set off from my Mums at 9am and didn't get back to my house till nearly midnight. I didn't snack at all, ate 3 reasonable meals knackered but proud of myself.
Today..... full day at work, exhausted from yesterday but still holding strong with my no snacking policy! x

Gina, you just keep on moving forward sweetie. No need to re-start. Just forget about last week. You had too much on your plate (no pun intended). STRESS can really make us eat more. I know it pushed me over the edge 2 days ago and I ended up binging. Of course stress was just a tiny trigger but very powerful. Have a good weekend!!!

I agree with Marika. With all the stress and travel, you just can't count on any good losses. The body won't cooperate like that (unfortunately ).

I've had a good day today, looking forward to the weekend have all my meals planned and we're not going anywhere so should be easy to stick too.

Going to attempt to not weigh now until Monday in preparation for my official weigh-in on Wednesday so wish me luck!

You are doing great Gina! You're making this into a real habit. I'm sorry you were sore though. This should be making you feel better, and I honestly believe that it will in the long run. But getting it done in spite of the pain is a sign of real determination. Success!

Not a cat in hells chance I'm gonna see 198 by Friday
I've been good as gold all week even while I was at my Mums and when we visited my Grandad I logged EVERYTHING and still I'm 201.6!!! WTH!!!! Under 1500 calories every single day. Not impressed, dreading my weigh in tomorrow if I haven't lost.
It's ok when it makes sense and you can say 'I've not lost because a) b) or c)' but when I've kept too it it's not fair. The only difference I've noticed looking back through my food journal is that I didn't have a cheat day on the Wednesday like I usually do...

SO.. No matter what those scales say tomorrow I'm getting a Krispy Crème donut!!!!

Planning for a splurge is a great idea girl! I'm sorry the number isn't moving. Maybe you shouldn't weigh so often???

I know Monica... I think I'm addicted to the scale, I'm obsessed with the numbers!

I really want to get back to JUDDD but because I weigh in every Wednesday I'm worried that if that falls After an UD the scale will go up

If I start with Thursday as a UD that should make Tuesday a DD and then it should work for my first week at least. Do you think it's worth a go?

According to the site my UD calories need to be 2018 and my DD calories 404!

The more I think about it I know that I can not do a DD on Friday when I am at work 8.30-5.30 which means being out of the house 7am-6pm can't do it, just the thought of doing it when it's 3 days away and I'm freaking out and want to grab at the biscuits.

So.. what to do, what to do, what to do?
Well there's only me that can answer that so how about this for a plan:
I have my cheat day on Wednesday as planned - I bloody well deserve it!
Thursday I will try eat around 500-600 calories
I will do the same on Sunday and Tuesday
The rest of the week I will keep to 1600 and not below.

I just wanna lose weight and I am fed up of trying so hard and not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel!

I've also decided that I will only weigh on a Wednesday at my official weigh in.
I'm going to get Wayne to hide the scales....

Good plan Gina. I weigh only once a week also. I noticed when I started exercising the scales didn't move as quickly as I had hoped. Don't give up and have that donut. You DO deserve it I cheat every Wed. as well...We must be kindred spirits

Thanks for the encouragement Jen!

I've started doing a lot of walking this month, well aiming for 2km a session ha makes me laugh when I consider that a lot... I used to be able to walk 15-20km a day without batting an eyelid! Bloody Fibro!

Baby steps...do more when you can

I'm so proud that you can eat 500-600 calories. I still haven't mastered the down day, but trying definitely helps keep the calories low for me

Gina- that looks like 4:3 JUDDD and may work good for you. You have to give it a try. It may me slower loss than every other day DD but you never know. You have to make this plan work for you. Ignore the scale if you are eating well. It could be TMI, water weight from walking, your fibro flaring up causing inflammation thus water weight, etc. You are doing good. Keep it up!

Gina - you should do whatever plan works best for you. I know the DR suggested something else, but DR's don't always know what's best.

I only weigh after DD's, plain and simple!
