WOE: Primal with intermittant M&E
Start Date: March 2013
B: muffin, yogurt, fruit salad, pumpkin seeds
L: left over brocoli and egg/tomato/avocado salad from last night
D: Roast chicken, pumpkin, eggplant and capsicum with steamed spinach, with a tablespoon of EVOO stirred thru, and a sprinkling of garlic powder. Covered with weight watchers chicken gravy mix since it was only 3gm carbs.

Dessert: 'nearly rice pudding' with fruit salad. it was...interesting. Needs tweaking. Wish I could buy the stuff they advertise on this site because it may have helped. But alas, shipping to NZ is too expensive

A bit bummed. 10 days without weight lose or inches lost

I've been steadily tightening the diet including dropping my normal breakfast as of today. Just an omlette with butter and avo.

I lost more weight than this just by stopping sandwiches at lunch time, last year.

200gms lost and a purple keto stick

Well see on the weight...I've been here before.

Breakfast- slice pickled pork, tomato and egg fried in butter with lettuce and avo salad. Drizzled the meltd pan butter on lettuce for a dressing.

Lunch- lettuce roll up with hot beef, turkish cheese, avo, and garlic powder

Dinner- over did it...2 beef sausages, parma ham, egg, tomato, avo, lettuce, gherkin with olive oil drizzled over.

I know it was too much protein, but oh so good

Dessert- minicheese cake with whipped cream and peaches

So far today:
B: one egg omlette with mealted butter, slice of pickled pork, avocado and turkish cheese with lettuce and EVOO
L: Salad of lettuce, turkish cheese (I love this stuff!) tomato, kalamiti olives, artichoke heart, capsicum, hot beef, EVOO, and feta dressing
D: is going to be some kind of venison casserole with vegetables, and a cauli/cheese mash topping.

Watched fathead today. Very good movie. Linked it on FB so my friends can see it too, if they want

There is a short follow up clip that follows. He is now paleo and living on a lifestyle block

Exciting news yesterday. My older DD (Red) has been watching younger DD (hopper) and I and has decided that at 130kg, its time to get on the diet bandwagon. She insists she doesnt want to lose much - she feels safer around men as a big person. I am not sure which 'guru' she is following, as far as I can tell all she reasy is doing is foregoing wheat. She has lost 10kg in 2 weeks, and thats with eating a bar of chocolate most nights. I gave her some info on why she should perhaps consider reducing sugar later on when the loss slows down, and some reciepe ideas since she was pretty much living on meat and eggs. And chocolate

DH has watched fathead and is annoyed about how much lying we as a people have been exposed to. But I noticed he had fish and chips for lunch. Its a slow road.

Got my first dumb comment... "dont get too thin".

Hmm, have you some way to quantify what is too thin? Is your too thin the same as my too thin? And why do you get an opinion anyway

Mind you she followed it up with " you have a nice womanly shape now. But your legs are very muscled like a mans"

Dammed with faint praise.

Doing this early so I dont forget

B: Bacon, eggs, slice of tomato fried in beef dripping, on a oopsie. Said Oopsie was VERY oopsie, I didnt do something right so I ended up with several pancake looking thngs.

L: Oopsie with lettuce, chicken, Turkish cheese, slice of tomato, smear to tomato relish and yougurt and gralic dressing

D: cream of Pork bone and vege soup, with coconut flour scones.

At last, I have found a scone reciepe! Soup and scones is a family winter comfort food, and I was sad that I might never have them again.

D: Periperi chicken, shreded cabbage steamed, spinach and avo.

Been a busy few days.

Yesterday
B:Sausage and eggs
L: Quich with sausgae, tomato, feta, and a salad
D: Bolognaise with boiled cabbage with a generous knob of butter stirred thru and lots of pepper!

Today
B: One egg blended with ricotta, cinnonmon and splenda and nuked until resembled porriage. 1/2 cup raspberrys and some HWC on top
L: Protein shake with added CO made with HWC
D: pork chop with carrot and applesauce, mashed cauli, cabbage

Feeling a bit peckish, so might have one of the fat bombs I made the other day:
100gm butter, 100gm CO, 1t splenda, 1T cocoa powder, zest of one orange and 1T juice of said orange. Blend, pour into mini muffin cups and freeze. Makes 20. No idea of the nutitional info, but DELICIOUS!

Can one to my boss and one to my 2IC today. My boss LOVED them, 2IC not so much, but he did admit he uses a lot of sugar, so they were kind of bitter to him.

Been VERY hungry today. I think my calories may be up, but for the most part I am trying to ride it out.

B: Its ANZAC here today and I forgot to get eggs last night so breakfast was a hodgepodge. Last slice of bacon, last peppered sausage and a slice of tomato fried in left over grease from last nights pork chop. 2 slices of cucumber with mayo
L: 2x meat lovers pizza toppings (scraped off base) lettuce and cucumber with ranch
D: mixed veges, boiled cabbage stirred thru with ricotta and garlic powder, sausage patties in homemade tomato sauce.

That last one was a LC version of a family favourite. But as it had flour and dried fruit I decided to LC it a bit.

Mix 500gm sausage meat with one small grated apple, and 1/2c frozen berries (I used raspberries) with one diced spring onion, pinch dried mixed herbs, one egg, 1T minced garlic and a pkt of onion soup (Pams brand, 3gm carbs) makes about 10 patties. Fried in left over grease from breakfast. Finished off in microwave because they were getting a bit crumbly.

Finely dice about 4T leek (white part) and fry in left over grease from patties (I added some CO) until soft. Add 400gm tin tomatoes and a couple of Tablespoons of fresh herbs. Lower to a simmer, add back patties and let sit until ready to serve - about 10 mins. Sauce was a lovely savoury flavour.

S: one fat bomb, half a pkt pork cracklings, handful of peanuts and 1lt water in the last hour. FINALLY stopped being hungry.

Could be seasonal - it is autumn here, or it could be upcoming TOM

A truely horrible day. Everything conspired to get on my nerves. Said nerves were only too ready to go nuclear on the unfortunate. Which was anyone who came near me. Is it nornmal to have such volitile PMS on LC? This is my second month were my normal 'easy to irritate', now manifests as 'easy to enrage'.

B: 2 eggs, 4 slices paper thin ham slices, fried cucumber (disgusting. wont do again) slice of tomato. EVOO
L: Left over sausage in tomato sauce with 1/4 avocado, ranch and EVOO
D: LC version of fish supreme on flaxmeal bread, with homemade tartare sauce. Garlic butter beans.

LC Fish supreme
350gm fish lightly fried in butter, until crumbly. tip in some cream until you can loosen up the brown bit on the bottom of the frypan. Sprinkle some dried thyme over and add mashed cauliflower (personal preference here. I dont like fish so I used about 6 cups to mask the flavour), stir thru 2 boiled eggs cut in to chunks and ricotta cheese to taste. Add more cream if it seems a bit dry. Give a good cracking of pepper and serve on toast.

30 inch waist. Wow!

Also noticed this morning that the cellulite on my belly has finally all disappeared. Now if I could just lose the stuff on my thights and I would be happy.

Well, that and losing 15 more pounds of course

DH and I got the first date night sans kids so far this year. I decided the pleasure of a night out with him was worth a wonderful night together. Besides I dont think a once a month night off will cause me to permanently deviate.

Yesterday
B:ham eggs, tomato
L: Leftover fish supreme
D: Lamb chops, boiled cabbage, salad (steamed cauli, avocado, tomato, fried mushroom, boiled eggs, stired thru with sour cream and pesto)

Today
B: yogurt, fruit, pumpkinseeds
L: left over last night salad with lunchon sausage.
D: to be decided. Hate the nights I have to work. If I eat before I go I am bloated. If I wait until i get home I am starving

As far as my date night binge - I have to say I was a bit worried since I'd read so much about people falling off the wagon, but the next morning I got up and had my usual food, and still have little to no interest in snacking. perhaps I am well over it all. I did enjoy my fries, but dont ahve any desire to go out and have more. Same with the bourbon - lovely at the time but no desire to carry on.

I had that.We used to do 'treats' from the supermarket after a long day.My husband wanted to and I was feeling nihilistic so I said "me too".

I spent ten minutes and couldn't think of anything for him to get!

I just had a cuppa instead

65.3kg.

Interesting. Im having induction style weight loss, even though I am definatly not in induction. Not that I ever really did it I am wondering if my fries and bourbon on Saturday night did something like a reset.

Read a REALLY interesting article today about women and carb requirements and the impact on growth hormone. Basically as women do not have a lot of testosteron, we use GH to build up lean muscle. This means our macronutrient requirements differ from guys.

B: ham, eggs, mushroom, tomaot, halomi
l: left over roast chicken and vege and gravy
D: hamburger patties, eggs and salad with EVOO
S: 2 squares 85% dark chocolate. Pkt pork crackling.

I'll see if I can find the link again. Basically it said we process carbs less well than guys BUT we do crash faster than guys so around TOM, might consider adding in some 'good carbs' (vege based) which may help with PMS. After the last two TOMs making me so vicious, Im interested in looking at how troreduce that, if only so my family lives thru it

It also talked about how reducing carbs to VERY low levels (less than 20) can be detremental for women looking to build lean miscle because fo the GH/testosterone difference.

B: bacon, eggs halomi
L: slice of cheese, handful of nuts, yogurt
D: vege soup and scones.

I tweaked the reciepe and they were definatly moister, but still very crumbly. Nice colour tho.

Downloaded an app for my phone to track my weight loss. its quite good, although i object to being told I am over weight, when the Wii just said I am 'ideal'. BMI is such a crock. The Wii has my ideal weight at 59kg (130 pounds), while this app has it at 55 (121). While I admit I would LOVE to be 55 and I know I look good at it, it is a long way to go and I am not overly confident I could do it.

We're off to Auckland for a few days so prolly wont update while Im there.
