I hope I ate enough today. I also had starburst. I was so hungry. But, I passed up the apple pie. That was hard. I had a slice lifted and ready to place on my plate, then pulled myself together and put it back. I'm so proud of myself. It's just not worth it.

176.4 I know I didn't eat enough good food, I had starbursts, no BM and I should be in PMS mode - LC keeps the symptons at bay

Workout: LIC Athletic Challenge 41m/570cb.

Menu:
decaf, hwc
eggs, bacon
caf/decaf, hwc
salad, dressing, hotdogs, cheese
cheese
parm chicken only. Feeling good.

Went to Waffle house for dinner unexpectedly. DH had the full pull all american meal. I had a hamburger patty and dipped it in mustard. We were both very happy.

This woe is a benefit to me in so many ways:
1. no PMS symptons
2. waking up fully alert with no need for caffeine
3. losing weight
4. more muscle tone showing up
5. energetic all day
6. more flexible
7. able to pass up sweets, bagels, etc with only a glance
8. don't think about food all the time
9. not falling into bed every night feeling like there's a weight on my shoulders
and
10. get to eat some of the more delicious, moist and tasty food ever - and be satisified when I'm done.

Oh yeah, Heidi, it lookd scrumptions! I make a mean apple pie, but that one was store bought and pricey. DH thought I made it. When he said that, I thought "I've got to try it." But, I thought about the reprocussions and put it back down. It was hard.

176.2 today,. I found out those hotdogs from yesterday have 4 carbs each! I was gonna have more today. But NOT! Im frying 2 hamburgers now to use for lunch. The seasonings I almost used had 2 carbs a serving. Man, they are everywhere! And I know I used too my HWC in coffee. yesterday So, I'm extra careful today.

menu
decaf with HWC and co
eggs, bacon, butter (1)
caf/dec with hwc
small salad, dressing, hamburger patties (3)
cheese, porkrinds
parm chicken

total for today (4) that I can see. No artificial suger in my coffee today and no decaf after dinner cause that's when I'm really tempted to use too much HWC and AS. I might have herbal tea.

No workout this morning. Ran out of time. I will walk this evening after dinner. The lack of caffeine is messing with my am energy level for doing intense am workouts. That's ok. I will switch it today and get another one in Wed am. We have a 5 day trip planned starting Thur. I plan to stay the course until the last day when Im pretty sure I will have cake. This will be challenging.

I have a hard time finding lc hotdogs. I found some recently that were 1 carb each and nitrate free. Of course, my 4 year old got to them first!

It makes you wonder what's actually IN them.

On second thought, maybe we shouldn't think about it...

The headache I had today was from lack of Artificial sweetner. I'm proud of myself that I didnt use any. I knew I was low on calories today and didnt want decaf so I jus drank 2 tbspns of HWC. weird.

Thanks Jinny. It's not easy. I was craving some last night. And without the caffeine and AS, my mornings start very slow. LIke right now, I should be sweating like a fool, but I cannot get going.

I have very little energy and alertness right now. I know this will pass in a few days, but Im also in full PMS mode, my boobs are a little swollen. And weight is 177.4. We leave for our trip tomorrow and I'm up a whole size so my clothes fit tight Not happy right now.

Okay, I've decided this is the wrong time to stope caffeine and AS. I need to wait until after this trip and TOM. I don't want to add to DHs stress level. I almost had it licked, but today after some stress with the bank, dog and last minute details with my clothes - I cant take a chance of not being on my A game for the next 5 days. So, I'll leave it a a cup a day with AS in that and some decaf as well. I will count those carbs tho and keep it under 10. I don't view this as a set back, but as a much needed adjustment at this time.

I've been debating giving up on coffee. I think it's going to be a slow move for me. But I can feel it coming. I was impressed with the giving up AS, let alone the caffeine!

I Hate hate hate eating out or what someone else cooked. with that in mind, I havent eaten alot today. had one cup of coffee mixed with one decaf. Read some of Atkins72 book on the road. after an early dinner, started feeling weird. couldnt put finger on it. then I remembered the book said when in doubt- eat. So, i'm eating pork rinds now and that weird feeling is gone. Duh, I havent eating enough at all yet. I might need a straight hamburger tonight while others are having that wonderful carrot cake. It was cooked especially for me, but right now I say just cook me some beef! hahahaha. Im so thankful I have no desire for it. I know on trips and special occasions I could off plan, but I dont want to. I love the way I'm feeling.

177.2 as of this morning. yeah.

Thanks Heidi. I plan to get back on that plan on tuesday.

4/2..177.4
4/3..178.4 oh, well, keep going.
4/4.. 177.6 I'll be easing up on the fat intake and see if I get more consistant results.

I did get a workout in and I will work wwers with LC and see that will help. I wont be taking in as much fat either. My BM was so tough today. I think it's the dairy - HWC. . So, I had coffee with splenda only today.

Heading to OH for Grandpa Larry's funeral tomorrw. It's easy to eat low carb on the road except when I want chocolate.

Maybe because of the recent loss? Don't beat yourself up. This is a loss I'm feeling sad over for you. Usually our losses are in pounds and joyful. Big hugs to you now!
