I started my new job/ promotion this week and having the energy and confidence to take this opportunity and rise to it is such a blessing. It will keep me in NY longer, but some day I'll get to move south and buy a home. If my health and energy continue to improve there will be no stopping me!

Carly these before and after pictures are incredible! You have truly transformed.

Your advice about very low DD's has been so useful. I was resistant at first (I wanted to eat more!) but since I've started incorporating them, everything's start moving again. Thank you for spreading your wisdom and enthusiasm over the JUDDD boards!

Thank you! I know low DDs did the trick for me. I have just 2 DDs now, but I keep them under 300 calories so I can basically eat what I please the other days and maintain.

I still marvel at how something as simple as Juddd (UD then DD, then repeat) has had such a huge impact on so many areas of my life. I feel very grateful today that I accidentally stumbled upon this marvelous WOE in March of 2012.

Thanks! I really hope you love JUDDD! I would say to give it 4 weeks so you can really get those SIRTs flowing and feel some of the amazing JUDDD benefits.

Around 1500, sometimes less sometimes more. I usually consume my calories between 6pm-10pm. Some times I have a couple cups of coffee earlier in the day.

I got up at 3:30 am this morning since I have a training in the city. 2 years ago this would have been torturous. Getting up early, trekking my laptop on the train and then onto the subway only to have a few more blocks to walk. Today it is nothing more than an early morning with a full day ahead. I feel filled with gratitude and truly believe that with juddd/ 5:2 I never have to return to being obese... freedom!

Thank you! I really feel like I get more than I give. I stumbled upon JUDDD and LCF at a time when I really needed it. It is my pleasure to give to others a gift I feel was given to me. Giving and getting support keeps me accountable to my maintenance and keeps me diligent. The juddd buds also just happen to be the greatest group of people on the net!

I think we are such a happy group since we are not in daily deprivation and get to eat cookies and ice cream if we wish every other day!

I'm still amazed how effortless maintenance has been. I have just 2 DDs each week of about 300 calories and eat reasonably the rest of the time. I'm throwing around the idea of going back into WLM. I'd like to maybe lose another 10lbs.

I suspect you are right since eod rotations are pretty painless, but I'm still on the fence about it. May try 4:3 for a few weeks and see.

So this week I went back to 4:3. I don't want to do EOD rotations as I don't mind if these next/ last 8-10 pounds comes off slowly. Currently I bounce between 124-127. I'd like to see that come down to 115-119. I don't know if it will happen or if I'll like what I see as I lose more. I think if I was capable of more frequent and more intense exercise I may have been able to make the desired changes that way, but with 5 levels of my spine fused and many more discs that ought to be fused my running and aerobics days are behind me. I wouldn't mind doing eod rotations, but DW will be happier if I'm not having DDs on the weekend and at this point any additional loss is just icing on the cake (which I get to eat on juddd)

Yesterday's DD was easy breezy. I provided part of a training yesterday at work. It was a small training, only about 10 staff members. They had 4 pizzas sitting out when the training started. Some how I was not at all bothered by everyone happily eating pizza and not a diet soda in sight. I had my water with true lemon so no worries. I'll do 4:3 next week, too, and then probably 5:2 for the first 2 weeks of July due to birthdays and other things. Not sure if I'll really lose at this weight with 4:3, may need eod rotations, but I'll see.

So I really liked my 2 week experiment of going back to 4:3 with DDs on M, W, F. I saw the high bounce dropping so that is a good sign that I'll be able to drop 5-8 pounds slowly over the next 2-3 months. I'll be doing 5:2 until July 15 due to holidays, vacation and birthdays (mine included) and Monday July 15th I'll go back to 4:3 for a while and see how I look/feel. I'd love to lose the pooch. It would be great if I could avoid losing from any other place than said poochy belly, but that would not be my luck.

DW says she wants to start juddding again... I'm not holding my breath, but if she really wants to do it I'll do EOD rotations to help support her.

I really don't do EOD, because it effects her, but if she's doing rotations I'll be more than happy to do it too.

So DW started JUDDDing on Monday and I'm back to EOD rotations with her. I like it. I feel great on DDs. My Monday and Wednesday will be super low (or Tuesday and Thursday of the next week) and the other DD/s during the week will be a bit higher. I'd like to get to 118 or so, but at this point I want to lose it slowly. I don't want to have any additional loose skin and if the next 6-8 pounds comes off gradually maybe that situation will not get any worse.

2 more co-workers also started juddding so I feel blessed to be an example of how livable and sustainable juddd is.

This morning 126.2 still at or bellow goal 5 months after calling goal, but since I'm now back to eod rotations with DW I joined the Labor Day Challenge and I'll see if I can get to 120.

I suspect my body really likes 126-124 since it's been effortless to maintain it with 5:2, but I'm up for a good challenge.

I'll bet it'll be easy for you Carly. The challenging part may be in making it happen slowly! I'm so glad Chelly is here with us, and how great you've converted some co-workers! I've got a few people really intrigued, but no converts as of yet. Except Mom who is 4 months in so far and loving it!

DW is doing really well so far. I'm glad she is liking it and I'm also really happy that it was her choice to do rather than at my suggestion.

I'm not sure that the losses will be fast. I think my body likes it here, but I think it will be agreeable to trying to go a bit lower. TOM is going to be here very soon and then those next 2 weeks will be my best losses if it's going to happen at all.
