I'm sorry that you've been having such a rough time. I have no advice but didn't want to read and run without expressing my hope that you find some way out of this wretched whirligig of hormone disruption.

You know, several years ago, I had hypothyroid issues. My numbers always came back good. Tested tested tested. Saw several different DR's about it. Finally my GP said, let's just try thyroid meds. So I did and it fixed everything. The fatigue and such, fixed my TOM issues. I was so thankful she went on to put me on the meds. I have history of it in my family and GP has since stated, the "normal range" all DR's use, may very well NOT be the normal for everyone.

I hope you figure out something soon.

The 360 degree turn has happened. Life is happy again!
Hubby has Tues, Wed Thurs off this week. I think he did that for me
We biked yesterday, we are off on a new bike trail today. Guess what we are doing tomorrow? Yup, biking. Our city has amazing trails that we are discovering!

My DH used to work 1 in 3 or 4 weeks every month in Ottawa. He could never quite get over how fabulous the bike trails and similar were in Gatineau Park.

I hope that you've thoroughly enjoyed your time with eachother during this unexpected few days.

It sure has been a long while since I have posted.

I have been seeing a naturopath regularly since July and my hormones are finally at a more manageable level with the help of:
1. Menopause Vitex Combo
2. Adrenal Tonic
3. Neurpoass Balance

In addition to the above I have been following a seed and oil regimine that was recommended by the naturopath.

Late December decided I wanted to give JUDDD another try. At my appointment with the Naturopath I was honest about my intentions, and she is supporting my efforts .

We were originally going to reduce some of my remedies, but we decided to keep everything the same and see how I feel incorporating this way of eating. Its been over a month now and I still feel good. We will move slowly with any changes.

I'm still looking to lose some weight. My lowest JUDDD weight was 142, for all of 5 minutes . My lowest January weight was 149 and I started at 155, but this of course was post holiday indulgence. Not sure what number I am looking for but 130 something sounds good. I was 130-135 for a good 15 years, so I would hope this is attainable again. Not going to stress about the number on the scale too much, well I'll try anyway.

I did not take any measurements but I can sure see changes in the way my clothes are fitting. I put the gym shoes on regularly in January and need to do the same in February. If I can consistently move 4 days a week, I know the benefits will be great. No biking in this DEEP FREEZE, so I'm stuck inside doing videos, would much rather be on a trail .

I have found Fitness Blender and they have FREE videos so I can easily change things up...which I need to keep me motivated and on track.

I have bought a HULA HOOP but cant get over how hard it is....I need to try AGAIN.

I look forward to connecting with my JUDDDBUDS again!

Sounds to me like you're doing wonderfully, Hope! I'm so glad you're finding the naturopath to be helpful, and that you're feeling better.

Yes, the hula hoop is so hard at first! I can't stress enough how many times I wanted to give up - I thought my body just won't do it anymore. Keep on trying! It'll click one day and you'll be off and running.......er.....hooping!

Took a mental health day today...I just needed it! Felt good to make that decision.
Me time is a priority so I can refuel.

Discovered English Toffee Stevia....I'm in love. A few drops in a Vanilla Creme Tea....mmmm. I've had 4 mugs today. Which is great as I need to focus in order to get my water in. I'm not sure if its the time of year, the lack of dehydration, probably a combination of them both, but my forehead and around my eyebrows are breaking out, and they hurt as they are deep in the skin. What else can I do?

I'm interested in that Stevia. Is it by any chance Sweetleaf drops? They seem to have tons of flavors, and I just love English Toffee Coffee. I have a whole bunch of sucralose drops I want to use up before I buy anything else, but I'm so curious about the Stevia.

The breaking out is a pain. Oh, I know those deep, cystic blemishes. Mine usually come around the jawline and chin. They hurt! I hope they heal up for you quickly!

I had a great DD yesterday. Made it through the day with 450 cals. Dinner was lemon butter shrimp which was delish.

Plan for today. Watch the carbs and eat wholesome food. I pick up my order at Supperworks today and I having not decided what we are having for dinner yet. I will see how the day progresses.
