Thanks Shari!! I am going to continue, even if I don't feel like it... I have another dumb cold, and that makes me want to go to bed, but it is only a cold, and I will get over it.. CANNOT WAIT TILL SPRING so I can get out in the fresh air more!

Have a wonderful day!!

Weight up 5 pounds since I started exercising, but inches way down.. go figure??

Right now I don't care, because the exercise is doing much more than what shows on the darn scale.. Loving the other benefits. I am eating well, and I know the scale will catch up, so I am not going to worry.

Still fighting this second cold in a month, and am done with this garbage!! NO MORE ILLNESS!!!... it is not real bad, but annoying!!!

Hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday!!

Good for you!!

Girl, I woke up feeling a little lighter than I did on yesterday. Stood on the scale, and it was up. I dismissed the feeling of discouragement as I trust how I look and feel - which is great!

So hey, no worries. The scale is just a guide, right?!

Hey Deb and Meek, I feel your pain with that darn scale!! It's time to kick it to the curb a few times until it acts right. I'm up too and know it's the exercise for sure because my eating has been on point! Totally agree that feeling smaller and looking better in clothes is totally worth a few pound gain that's temporary anyway. I'll have to listen to the video when not totally swamped at work. You post good ones!

Thanks Shari!!! Man, this is a great series of videos...really great!! I am on video #3 right now, but he has over 30 of them, and WOW is he speaking the truth! He also thinks the scale should be kicked to the curb..

I hear you on that scale Deb, I am so over it right now! Up down, up down, when it comes to exercise the thing can drive one batty. Sorry to hear about your cold hope you start to feeling better. I am doing alright except I had some coffee with HWC in it when I know full well that diary is more than likely a problem for me but I am in full blown denial about it.I got through 1 whole week without it and then I caved. I truly need to stop the diary but it calls to me. The day is almost over and I am NOT going to fret over it but keep working on slowly eliminating it from my diet. Keep up your exercise, it is so good for you Deb. Have a good Tuesday!

Hey I need something to fiddle with my fat metabolism! Sounds sooo funny!

Thanks Maggie! I love me some dairy too, but dairy clogs my head so much. I think it does other stuff bad to me, but I love it. I need to get myself together and eat for health. Sometimes it is just hard..

You keep up your good work too!!! I am into my 30 days to form a habit, and I will not stop now!.. WE can do this!! Scale be damned!....

They say it take 3 weeks to work on breaking a habit and I got through 1 week with no diary. Back to the drawing board. If at first I don't succeed, I will try, try again!

So glad you measured!! I didn't . But, I tend to get bigger too when I exercise. The scale and my jeans say I'm up, but I know it takes some time to come back down. I'm back to LC and plan to make the exercise a habit (just like you!). I'm shooting for 3-4 days a week. Last week I got in 5!! We can do it!! It's so good for you!! I'm right there with you guys - scale, what scale? It's just ONE measure.

I couldn't give up dairy. It's the only indulgence I have left (and the coffee into which is goes ). Have you tried cocount cream in it? I've heard it's pretty close. I have it in the back of my head if I ever try to give up my beloved dairy! Hang in there !

Yanno Julie I think I just need to cool it with coffee for awhile. I have used coconut cream in my coffee and it is yummo but I just need to do away with it. I am working on stopping my coffee drinking and just having some hot green tea. I have no problem with wanting to put cream in that so I could just use stevia and be fine with it. I think that dairy for me is just a crutch or an addiction. My personality is geared this way and I just need to work on cooling some habits in my life and I am working on that. It's one day at a time for me along with one bad food habit at a time to break. Thanks for the idea and support.

I finally got the chance to listen to this. I'm torn. I like what he has to say- it's not our fault, overeating doesn't cause weight gain, eating less and exercising more doesn't make you lose weight, there are hormonal issues and basic metabollic issues that over-ride any diet or exercise attempts, etc. But, he doesn't tell you WHAT diet or type of exercise you should do (just alludes to less but better quality) and foods too. Sigh. I suppose there are a bunch more? Couldn't he just summarize it for me? Have you watched/listened to them? Can you summarize it for me? I'm not sure how to "heal" my damaged metabolism I've been trying to do that and am convinced eating more helps. But I'd like a lower set point and effortless weight loss please!
