YES, he is a sweet handsome boy.... man.. boy.. man... I prefer no makeup, but he is so sensitive about his skin, he THINKS he needs to wear it onstage.. When I met him up close, he looked like this. No makeup.. boyish.. sweet... cute.... handsome..... you get the idea...

I agree, we have the treadmill in common!.. YAY!...

Hi Deb - sorry about your friend. Hopefully she will be able to go peacefully and pain free. Is hospice with her? They can at least give her pain meds to ease her suffering. I will say a prayer for her and you

Thank you Gracie.. I just talked to her daughter, and they are setting up Hospice... I am going by after work to take the family a great meal my supervisor fixed for them. I just want to hug her and hope the best for her in this time..

Got another update on my friend. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital against her will, but for her own good. They found out she has pneumonia? and a bladder infection. This is not good news, but it does help explain some of her symtoms. She is being fiesty and that is a good thing. They will treat this separate from her cancer and at least give her some relief from that.

I feel better today after lots of praying and LISTENING. It will be what it is supposed to be. We are not in control.

Eating still wonderful, exercise was non existant yesterday since I chose a day off... That felt good too...

Ready for the day, but must get ready for work!! ACK! ..

So, so sorry about your dear friend. I pray for a peaceful transition with as minimal pain as possible. Cancer is awful and to see someone you love suffer and decline is heartbreaking. I will keep her, her family and you all her close friends in my prayers. Also I know this is a rough time for you regarding your father.

Congrats on keeping on track/plan through all the emotions.

ETA: funny video. He does look different w/o all the makeup but I can see how that gives him more of an edge and stage performance because he look so young without it.

Thank you Shari I went to the hospital to see her yesterday after work, and the change in a few days is just enormous. She held my hand and told me she is terrified. I have such a hard time with that, but I held it together..

Her and her family needs prayers to help them all deal with this.. oh and me too... She was my only real friend at work.. ugh, hate cancer.

Glad to see you're doing well diet/exercise wise! Sorry about your friend, but glad she's being taken care of (even against her will!). God is in control, and it's SO much better that way!! I'd mess it all up!!

Nancy is home now surrounded by family and friends, and this will be her last week. I went by and took them dinner. I said goodbye, and how much I care for her, and will miss her smile, but that it is ok to move on.. much like I told my Dad a year ago. This is it..

I know this is my journal so I can say what I need to say, but I am going to be moving forward now, and trying to think about myself, and getting healthy. I am going to continue walking, and doing my circuits. Food is going great also.. I can't wait for spring!!!. Winter sucks for me...

On the diet and exercise front, the walking sounds good and I agree with you Winter does suck. Had freezing rain early this morning here in MI.

So sorry for your loss and the losses that you have gone through the past few years. Words can never express to someone how deeply saddened we are when this happens. You've been through alot with your fathers passing and your mother's health issues and you also trying to become healthier, that's alot. I see you as a strong person Deb and I know that you will work hard to get healthy for you once and for all. We both can do this, I know we can.

It is so sweet that you both love Adam Lambert. I know you will hold on to fond memories of her as the days go on.

Today, I really just need to make day 1 again......... haha.. better than giving up!.. I didn't watch real close what I ate over the weekend, but that didn't matter at the time. Today, is a new day!!!

I agree! I am still shocked sometimes that I post and keep a journal on here because I'm very private IRL. But it's the connection between us that makes it easier to share the ups and downs of the scale, eating, emotions, etc. I truly feel connected to you all. It would be wonderful if we could all meet one day.

Thank you Gracie.. She had been trying to breathe with one lung so when they got her calmed down with enough meds... she peacefully passed with a smile on her face.. I am so grateful she was in my life. Her big ole smile will always be in my heart.

Count me in on being a private person, but I do too feel a connection to you ladies that's why I keep coming back. Ehhh, I will be at this losing weight thing for awhile and it's nice to have good company along the way.

I watched my brother in law pass at the age of 34. They took him off of the ventilator and he labored breathing for a while but then passed peacefully. If I wasn't watching the monitor I would'nt even have known that he was gone My nephew was 9 months old when his dad passed. He just turned 14 a couple weeks ago. It's still hard watching him grow up without a dad.
