Wonderful! I am going pretty slow this week with the exercise. That is ok though, I am burning the fat!..

Today is an easy day for eating. NOTHING sounds that great to me. Sure sign of Ketosis and I am really happy for that. Without HCG, the no hunger feeling is hard for me to get to. Atkins 72 back to the basics is doing the same thing HCG does for me this time about the no hunger. I am still taking my GC, but may not have to.

LOVING IT!!!

Thanks Lexi

Just realized it sounds like I am still taking HCG, but nope it is the supplement Garcinia Cambogia. It is a nice fat burning appetite suppressing supp with no jitters!

Thanks Julie! I take 2 tabs 3x a day now. They also sent me a free bottle.. I have read that it does not work the same for everyone, so I guess it is hit or miss as for each individual..

Day 3 went awesome! A little bored with just jello for dessert, but I will make it through the weekend and Monday will be day 7. then I will start to add some things back in as Atkins instructed. 5-8 grams of what we miss the most.. this is why I like Atkins 72. There are no MUST DO's on the way up the carb ladder.

Thanks Meek! Day 4 went fine too. Weekly weigh in and instead of standing STILL .. like usual.. I actually did lose 2 pounds. Not much, but I was not carbed up at all. SO!!! I am jumping into day 5 with ZERO hunger. I wish I could lose faster, but I have to just accept it won't be like HCG and also realize that I get to actually have GOOD FOOD.

Just realized I am down 4.8 since I decided to try Atkins 72 on Tuesday! I forgot I was up some before I started it. Good, feel better.

So far today, coffee with cream and trying to decide what to eat for brunch.. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

Thanks Deb! I know, I've been away...really not on purpose but my work has been more stressful lately. The change of seasons, weather and then holidays usually bring about more mental stress/symptoms for my clients and it wears me thin sometimes. I'm feeling more and more drained...without that fire coming back like it did before. I really have been looking into changing careers but it's hard to do when my 'expertise' and most of my work experience is in one area (social work/mental health). It has been affecting my mood and eating habits but I know I have to bring it back in or my weight will be out of control!! Whatever I do, I have to post here and stay for ongoing encouragement and support.

Oh Shari, I am so sorry the job is so stressful! I had to finally leave a job after 18 years because the stress was overwhelming.. I was getting calls that were work related in the middle of the night, always on call.. ugh...

So happy to be away from it. I also did not have any other experience or job qualifications for something else, but with FATE or LUCK??? I was presented with an opportunity to TRY something different 7 years ago, and I am so grateful for my sanity and my family's sanity that it worked out!! You just never know!

I am so happy you came by and do continue to come by daily for you KNOW we are all going to give you whatever support we can.. we are all in the same boat! Much love dear!! You can do this!

Aww, thanks Deb! Wonderful that you were saved and presented a less stressful job opportunity. I'm praying for the same thing...that something may become available that I'd be able to transition into that will involve less stress.

I hope you have a great Monday!

Thanks Julie! I like to go to Linda Sue's website for good ole recipes.. I had a WONDERFUL day yesterday. I think my whole mindset has changed. I was watching several You Tubes of shows like "Heavy" that talk about the many other things behind our staying fat.. really really helped me look at things differently. I plan to keep on browsing today at work, and get some good ideas.

In any case, I know I have everything I need to succeed inside of me right now.. that was the message I have taken away, and I am not going to sweat the plan another minute..

Deb-I love that attitude, not worrying about it . I think eating to satisfaction, exercising, sleeping well and limiting stress are all great accomplishments!!! The reading I've been doing has been about the maintenance portion of weight loss. It's all such a challenge. But making sure I can keep this weight off, once I've lost it all , is my goal. you're rocking it!!

Thank you Julie!!. I read what you were saying in your journal, and I also wonder how people actually LOSE the fat eventually. It does sound like he is saying when your metabolism is healed it just falls off..

I have read stories of people who gain 50 or more pounds waiting for their metabolism to heal, but have not read where anyone actually did get to their goal weight naturally.. I would love to hear some stories if it does happen!.

Good luck with your experiment!!! Love reading about it.

Another awesome day yesterday, and more encouraged today. I added in enough so that I feel good, but my actual volume of food is way down. Love it! Exercising at lunch right now while I type!

My new mindset has made all the difference in the world this week. Watching those videos back to back to back to back while at work.. or should I say listening!! Brought my MIND back to when I was successful in losing weight.

The 3 times that I made goal as an adult, I did not follow any "PLAN". I made up my mind that getting to a good goal weight was my PLAN. I ate what I wanted, but only when it was really worth it. I was never really hungry, I ate normal amounts when I did feel hunger.

I decided sometimes that eating was not really what I wanted to do, because getting to that healthy weight was more important. NEVER starved myself, never overexercised, just decided that it was more important to get to the next day without overeating.

This just seemed so effortless each time, and I now realize it was all in my HEAD. how many times have I tried to follow a plan, and then felt bad when I could not stick to it.. that is crazy. Hormones play a big big part in doing this, and now that my hormones are stable, it is easier.

LONG LONG way to go, but this week showed me that I CAN do it again. Like a long lost muscle reflex, I have found that spark again. So happy about this!!..

Again, one step at a time, and no beating myself up. EVER again.
