Hey there!! I just got Matt Stone's "eat for heat book" and thought of you. have you read that one? The "S's" we've talked about, but all the way through it? Trying to follow it more (less water, more salt, sugar, starch...) but of course worried about weight gain. Just wanted to see what your thoughts were on it. Are you taking your temps these days? Mine was 95.6 this morning!! so, clearly I have work to do!! Sigh.

Oh MY Julie! that is low. I have been keeping my temps and yesterday morning it was 97.8. Today was high! 98.4 because I am not feeling well I am sure. I was freezing then sweating etc .. some kind of bug.

I have not read his eat for heat book yet. I am really trying to cut back on the carbs this week. I have lost NOTHING this past week and am getting somewhat discouraged. Oh well. P A T I E N C E! haha...

I hope you figure out what is going on with the temps Julie!! Do your meds need to be adjusted?

Thank you Meek!! Yep, I am committing to WEEK ONE of induction following Atkins 72. I will then attempt to add the 5-8 carbs a week and see how it goes. Like I just said in your journal I have to get back to the roots of Atkins, before all that other stuff was added. It really works doing it bare bones if we can stick to it.

I hope we can encourage each other!! One day, starting today, then tomorrow when I get up, I start another day, on so on and so on...

I just wanted to report for you Meek, that day one went great. I did get a bit hungry at bedtime, so I had a piece of ham with cheddar cheese wrapped inside. It was wonderful and hit the spot.

Now to day 2!!

Not nearly as hungry as yesterday. So far coffee with creamy goodness and am about to eat a nice juicy hamburger patty for breakfast..

Not a big egg eater anymore, because I have a feeling eggs don't agree with me. That is too bad, because omelets and scrambled eggs with bacon used to be my go to breakfast on Atkins.

Brought Tuna Salad, small salad with some shrimp for lunch. Jello.

Dinner. Not sure yet. Hope to not be hungry.

Good for you Deb!! One day at a time is the perfect way to look at it!! You doing so well, really you are!! You've kept off your hcg losses, lost some more and getting ready to lose even more? Amazing!! WTG!!

I'm in a holding pattern myself. Which is fine. If I can refuel and maintain I'll be happy.

Thanks Julie!! Yep, I am happy that I can make it one day at a time for now..

I am also very happy to be able to maintain that big chunk o weight from HCG. Will see how the holidays go, but I am determined not to gain, and to get healthier!!.. Maybe even lose some????

Whoo hooo Day 2 success!!! Now on to day 3!! A habit is slowly being formed..

My official weigh in day is Saturday, so I will weigh then. I am feeling a bit smaller.. still doing my daily exercise. Nothing too strenuous though. My little bike peddler and walking for now. I would like to add some weights in, but I am lazy at the moment...

i know i can't wait for friday! I'm up a little bit this morning but i think its because of my weight class on tuesday. muscles retain water after lifting. planning to drink tons of water today during my fast.
