Thanks Shari, this is what happens when you work for a State University Hospital. Everything is audited and audited again! It really sucks, because it is so much BS alot of the time. Oh well, I guess I am glad it is not a personal audit! ..

nothing wrong with a little portion control... are you counting calories or doing any sort of tracking?

I tracked my calories daily for a month, then decided I didn't like it so I stopped. Guess what? I am not losing this way.. I am going to do a week of counting again, just to see where I really am.. I think thats a great idea. you can still live by your new found motto (for lack of a better term) AND make sure you're not eating too much of the food.

Morning Jen!!! I started checking journals this morning, then got busy... I am so happy that I was able to eat the food yesterday, but much less, and be satisfied!! I will attempt the same thing today!

I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend! I am excited to be BBQing by the pool and staying cool!

Haha.. I was thinking that also! I am off work this week, so out and about!! Not spending as much online time, but I do need to check in!! All is going well, weight is not budging, but I know I am still eating to maintain and not to lose. My exercise continues, but I want to mix it up some. Thinking of what I enjoy!! That is my key.

Next step get the intake back down. Eating at 2500-3000 will not allow me to lose weight, so if that is my goal I have to get it below 2000. Sounds extremely easy to do, but now that I am so used to eating it is more difficult.

From this point on it is MENTAL.. working on that part!!

Thanks Lexi! So far so good. Yesterday came in well below 2000 and my plan for today is to have around 1800. I will continue this through the week and see how it feels. I am sure I will adjust.

ok, after much research, ( 14 days ) I have decided what my plan of action for getting to my goal by spring 2014 is. It is going to be kept under wraps for the time being, as I want to make sure this is for me. I have done too many DIETS and will no longer be dieting, but I do have a plan.

Tease Tease Tease huh? Well my weight has not been this high for a long time and I hate it. Must do something before this sticks.

I will say EXERCISE STAYS!!!

I don't blame you for keeping a it quiet. i understand how you feel about that. GOod luck and im VERy happy to see that you are keeping exercise a priority!

Thanks Lexi! I appreciate your support! For sure exercise must stay if I am going to keep it off! Also for health reasons.. and just because it feels so darn good to be doing something active! PLUS, I want to be able to enjoy my time in Hawaii and do EVERYTHING!!! All the fun stuff, cannot wait!

Thanks Lexi, I did have an awesome weekend! Went to a baseball game with my son who I don't get to see very often. We had a wonderful time and my team took back first place.. good times all around!

Thank you Shari! My kiddo is such a sweet boy, loves his mama.. Just like your sons will do for you one day! .. We had a nice visit, also with my Mom and hubby.

I did pretty good on the eating front, but my Mom really equates food to love. I just take whatever she makes, tell her how wonderful it is, and then I eat it or I don't.. depends on my hunger..

I hope you had a great weekend too! Very interesting drink you are doing, did you decide to go to solid food over the weekend?

What a nice weekend plus spending time with your son you don't see often, priceless! I'm so happy to hear your mom continues to do well, yeah it's hard to not eat mom's cooking but your solution works LOL. I totally understand about waiting to share any new plan until you're on it for awhile, you know it's my story too I hope whatever it is it works out well for you!

You are doing great also!! Sweet Potato is a wonderful way to break a fast! AND you feel lighter!! Whooo hooooo !! win win
