Awe thanks Jen! Feeling so much better. Things are being fixed today at my house so that is a relief. The router belongs to the cable company so they gave us a new one and now our TV's work again. Then the alarm people are fixing that..

The only real expense we have is the front window. Ugh. OH well. could have been worse I guess?

Hey Deb, I'm sooo sorry I've been out of the loop. It's like other stuff has been pressing me but I'll always come back here. I just glanced at your journal because I'm rushing to go but I'm glad to see you're still doing well and on a roll!! Congrats on finding what works for you and continuing to exercise. Glad to also see that things are getting fixed at your home and most of all, you all were kept safe.

Well day 19?? of my new outlook and I got my peddling in for the morning session.. will do more after my travel training today. Then pool time after work.

Yesterday I had to share my pool time with middle daughter and her friend.. they thought I was a bit nuts but oh well........ They were cheering me on!!

I felt SO BLOATED yesterday and don't know why, but today I am back to normal and feeling good!! I won't officially weigh until Saturday, but I peek now and then. Downward trend is always good!

So, funny that the girls were cheering you on in your pool. Good for you for not stopping even though you had company.

I feel much better today. It's a new day and I saw a momma duck with her three babies walking across the Joe's Crab Shack parking lot to the lake. I live close to a lake. Any plans this weekend?

Awe seeing nature while you walk, has to be nice!!

Thanks Jen, I was not self concious with the girls, they just did their tanning and hopped in once in a while.. They are used to me doing crazy things

Plans for the weekend? nope.. just relax and of course keep up my exercise.. I love my weekends to not be planned. Especially when I get a weekend at home. We go to my Mom's about every other weekend or so to help her out, so when I am home, I love to relax.

Woo-hoo!! That is exactly what I plan on doing...keep it on the down low and perhaps organize the boy's room. It is a work in progress! They have so much stuff. Great going with the plans to keep the exercise going. You are doing amazing things Deb!

OH SILLY JEN! I read what happened with Hubby and I am so glad he has you!!! things will get better!! YOU know this..

Oh goodness I forgot to update yesterday!! Sorry! I have been doing my exercise each day except Sunday when I rested. I pedal each day for about an hour, sometimes more if I am not too busy. I am in the pool when it isnt raining and if it is, I have started to do weights!! Whoo hoooo... get my arms strong..

Day 25 I think on Matt Stones 180 program for my metabolism and I can most certainly eat more than I ever have been able to in the past and lose "some" weight. I only lost .8 last week, which is snails pace, HOWEVER!!!! I am eating close to 3000 cals a day. I am eating whatever I want to eat. This is not a diet.

This week I want to go down by about 100 cals a day to start. I am going to attempt more like 1 to 1.5 pounds a week lost if my body cooperates.. If not, oh well. It WILL come off eventually doing this program.

Energy comes and goes, if I get enough sleep I am like the energizer bunny!!! If I don't I am tried.. go figure..

Skin smooth as silk!!! OMG this is a wonderful side effect of EATING THE FOOD...

Well I hope you ladies are doing well on whatever you are doing, keep up the exercise and success will be ours!!

It is so good to hear how well you are doing with your new found WOL. Woohoo! That weight loss is amazing! I wouldn't change a thing as long as you continue to lose. There is no need to fix what is not broken! I do the same thing. I think we just get bored easily! Lol!

Smooth skin from eating! Wow, that's a great side effect!

I am so happy for you my dear!! That is so right, just continue to do what we are doing as long as it AINT BROKE..

I am like you though and also get bored. My nagging mind keeps telling me I need to lose faster, faster, faster!!.. Hawaii is looming, but not really. I have open ended tickets and I can go when I want to go. I do want to feel good when I go, so whenever that is, it is!!!!

Also, I am squashing those voices telling me to DIET.. aint gonna happen for ME ever again. I just can't do it to myself. 40 years of dieting at least! CRAZY!!!!! Yes, diets work to get us down the scale, but I have never had one keep me there, or I would not have to keep doing it.

SO, I will continue on with what I am doing and if I am bored, I will change up my exercise and do something different there.

All in love of course!! I need to slap myself for trying to get my cals as low as possible each day. It's a new form of torture and borderline anorexia!!

Anyway, that's not really Loving our selves...???

Let's squash the diet voices together!

YES!!! we must stop the insanity and do the INSANITY work out instead...

My sister is on her 3rd week of doing the insanity and she loves it.. Me, not so sure yet.. Maybe in the future? If you want to do it, then DO IT!!!

WE do need to love ourselves and realize that starving the bod just does not work in the LONG RUN.. SQUASH THOSE VOICES!... a new slogan...

OH and as for eating 3000 cals.. it took time to NOT GAIN.. but not long for me.. only about a week or so.. Now my body loves it. AND is releasing slowly... so maybe I stay here or I let it go down some.. not sure.. day by day I shall see!..

I was just kidding about the Insanity video. Maybe after I lose 50 lbs I'll pick it up. My fear is there will be broken hips and multiple injuries if I try that now! Lol!

My brother has the video. Maybe we'll try it while he is here

I will reserve the right to stop at anytime...even if I never start and just watch these crazy people!

I hear ya!... love ya mean it too!..

My sister is about 40 pounds overweight and she says it kills her.. so I can imagine that it would kill me too... more than her, since she is a skater who skates about 30 miles every weekend... Holy crappola...

SOOOOOOOOO we do what feels good, push a little bit now and then and stop when we want to!.. sounds good to me!..

Agreed! You have such a positive outlook! I cannot believe how quickly the exercise has motivated us to move even more.

You are so awesome! I remember being around 210 lbs and going to spinning classes. My butt hurt so bad after each class, but I could keep up with it...I just want to get to that place again where I could do a lot more. It's so frustrating!!

Was trying not to go over 3000 today, but for some reason I am very hungry. So I ate.. I also exercised for over an hour at work, then over an hour at home.. Nothing formal.. just movement that is fun. LOVE IT!!!!!

I think it is really amazing that I can even eat that much!! and not GAIN anymore... my body composition is changing for the better. I am getting some defined muscle finally. FINALLY!!! In less than one month I am making some progress. Not much else to do but to keep it up!!!!

Day 26 Matt Stone 180 program. Ended up with 3350 in cals yesterday. GOOD food, just dense calories.. I don't like much junk food and cook everything at home. I rarely ever go out to eat, just don't like to pay the cost...

Anyway, I find myself still eating a BIG BIG early meal... which immediately puts my calories up over 1000. So the rest of the day I have another 2000 spread out. I love every kind of summer fruit there is, so I eat that. I love veges but I don't eat many.. maybe if I had fresh ones out of the garden I would eat more. Most of the time I eat MEAT/ potatoes/rice/ fruit/ some grains / some goodies... Never ever thought I would be able to do this

I no longer have any negative attachment to any kind of food. no more labels.. nothing is good or bad.

Feeling smaller today while I pedal my bike to who knows where!!!
