Wow, i am even more motivated to walk to work now. I don't know if I will be able to walk home since it's 101 most days, but the morning should be no problem. Especially if I leave at 6am. I want to give myself plenty of time to get there. I probably walk a 30 minute mile. I'm not as fast as I used to be so I want to make sure I am not late to work. I can stick my work clothes in my bag and have a bus pass in hand just in case my body says no way

Morning Jen!!! hope all is well! I hit my peak wt of 6 pounds up!!! on Saturday. Today I am down 2 of those doing NOTHING DIFFERENT!! .. just moving every day. EATING whatever I want to hunger, no restrictions.

I avg around 2800-3000 cals.. Cannot believe that part!!!

I am getting 30 minutes in the pool and 1 hour sometimes on my bike at work. Weight training using resistance.. ( it works!!) I learned that from Taebo.. you don't need weights when you have your own body..

I will continue this and see where it goes! So far my energy continues to be through the roof! LOVE IT!!

My maintenance cals expenditure is around 3000 at my goal weight, so I am trying to use that number to eat NOW, so when I get to goal, eventually.. I will have a great metabolism!.. Crazy as this all sounds, it is working.

I think I will just add more movement the closer I get to goal, so I don't have to eat less.. however, if I want to eat less, I WILL.

Deb!!!! So proud of the movement and energy. I feel a lot of energy as well today. I was just supercharged and ready to go this morning. Nothing was going to get in my way.

The job interview went great! Now, I just wait probably until mid week...(jeopardy theme playing in my head) I could not have done any better than I did; so I am happy!

I am so happy for you, Deb. Your transformation is intoxicating! Keep up the observations. I am still very intrigued

Hugs!!!

Thank you for your support ladies!!!

Check out these before, during and after pics of LCF's very own Healthy and Happy!!
She looks so good even after just having a baby!!! She had the VSG weight loss surgery, but I know she used to do HCG if I am remembering correctly. I think she posted in my early journals. Anyway, What a great inspiration she is...

My dream is to one day help other ladies melt themselves away by thinking affirming thoughts about themselves and movement. i would love to teach group exercise or become a personal trainer. The instructors look so happy and they are paid to empower others through movement I love the idea of it. I need to find my camera and I'll do the same. Not sure who i would be comfortable taking pictures like this of me.
We'll see

You will be wonderful at this dream!!!

Well I found the tripod, but can't find the camera... oh well. I will figure it out.

Up a pound again today, so I guess this will be an up and down thing for awhile. Still a pound down from my peak, but I feel like I am eating way too much. You won't believe this, but ****** says I had 4300 cals yesterday.. YES, 4300. No wonder I gained.

Ok, who can eat that much???? WHO? ME!! apparently. No way I could even eat that much when I was loading for HCG! I don't know if it was because of all the exercise I did yesterday that made me so hungry, or if my metabolism is making me eat like a fiend now. ANYWAY. THAT STOPS TODAY!!!

I don't care how much my mouth says to eat, I aint doing that much. I need to cut back to 2800 or less for weight loss to happen. Going to continue to exercise anyway, and go with the flow.

Hope everyone is having a great day!!!..

Deb you are a woman after my own heart! You must tell me what you ate yesterday that was 4300 cals!!! That's pretty good and I bet I ate that continuously when I wasn't counting and eating whatever I wanted.

I think it's great that you are thinking about reigning it in. However, if your body is hungry-you need to feed it. My body was not hungry yesterday and i had approx 800 calories. However some days I'll have close to 2000. I try to stay under 1200 but i do not stress if I go over if I'm hungry. How was the exercise yesterday? Did you swim and do you bike?

Hugs to you my dear friend...don't sweat the small stuff. How long have you been doing this to raise your metabolism? Does the book tell you when you should start losing?

Thanks Jen! Oh I am not real worried about it, the food was spread out over the entire day from 5am to 9pm. Just looking at the number made me go crazy.. old habits!..

I had everything from gigantic ribeye steak in mushrooms and hashbrowns, tons of fruit, some ice cream, tacos, fresh veges, banana bread, etc etc, you name it!! .. It was delicious!!

Anyway, some people take months to start losing, but I don't want to be them! I am listening to my hunger, but today will just try to keep it in check. See how it goes. When I get to the point that I can lose and still eat up to 3000 cals I will be in heaven!!!!!

Have a great day Jen, I am doing my exercise bike right now while I work..

You are welcome! I'm glad you are not worried about it, because something is working for you to not be blowing up like a balloon!!!

I think I would be happy to know I could eat 3000 calories and maintain

Deb, you've got this. I am cheering for you, because this lifestyle change you are making is so intriguing. Btw, I stopped my HHCG..I didn't remember to take it and notice that my hunger is still in check. I may take it on the weekends not really worried about it.

This is so awesome!! I also stopped the HHCG especially when eating this much. I am waiting for my hunger to go down, but he says until that happens, eat to hunger. I don't have months to wait, so I am just going to take it down a bit and not worry about it. My temps are up consistantly already, and I am never cold. Lots of people who are doing this are always cold.

So I do have a jump on that. Also many of the people are coming straight off HCG, or severe anorexia, or binging problems etc. They need to learn to eat when their bodies need it. SO, I feel good. i feel energetic!!! I feel wonderful and that was my whole purpose in doing this. ALSO to not be afraid of carbs anymore. Carbs in the form of fruit, mostly, but other things I am not scared of anymore.

I feel such FREEDOM!!! I hope it lasts!!..

Keep on doing what you are doing also Jen!! WOW, so impressive!!

Let freedom ring, girlie! I feel free as well

That's interesting about HHCG..I started with it, because i knew it helped me in the past. But, now I have a much healthier idea about weight loss and fitness. I am a little hungry right now, but I live to feel my stomach burn with true hunger. It's weird because I love that feeling of being empty and working straight through until lunch and then venturing out to find a healthy delicious lunch to feast. I used to hate the first pang of hunger, now it's not a big deal. The part that I don't like is the lightheadedness. That is not cool. I haven't felt lightheaded at all while doing IF.

There is no reason to fear carbs. They are part of eating a balanced diet. My eating is around 50% carbs, 25% fat, and 25% protein and i'm holding under 1200 cals per day and I feel amazing. You'll find the right combination to maintain your freedom. I know that if I eat all carbs, I'm not satisfied, and eating more than 60% fat makes me feel oily...lol! I have an unquenchable thirst if my protein is higher than my fat; so it's a delicate balance that i've been watching as I input my food in my food diary.

Jen I am so impressed with your growth and progress since you came back. Go and read the first post you made since returning.. WOW.. so happy for you!!!

I agree with you all the way on not fearing carbs anymore.. I enjoy the variety and having some of everything gets me through the day!! I have really dropped my cals today, but I am not suffering in any way..

Will come in around 2500 if it goes as I think it will.. But if it doesn't, it doesn't!!

Enjoy the rest of your day Jen!..

Hi Deb! Thank you for the suggestion! You are right in a month I have completely changed my life I also read some of my entries from 2010-2011 when i dropped off. I was doing so well, but didn't realize it. My mind kept punishing my body for eating what it wanted. Of course my body rebelled. No one likes to be told they're bad constantly. The body will start believing the lies. I do not want to do that to myself. I am in a calm state now and it is so pleasing and peaceful.
