I'm so excited about getting my corset tomorrow!

It's not for temporary results but to shape the body and burn fat around the mid-area during workouts and sleep
.

Wow, the gal on the picture looks fantastic! Me if I wore that corset all my jiggly parts would be pouring out of that corset, and believe you me I have lots of jiggly parts. Do these things actually help a person's body? Are they comfortable? Excited to see how it works for you, and by the way you are doing great on Induction, keep it up!

Hi Maggie,

I was told that it actually holds everything in place. I've seen some before and after pictures of "real" people and it actually works when used with exercise and eating healthy. It's not for temporary purposes. I'm excited about adding it to my low carb way of life. I'll keep you posted.

Day 5 Induction

TGIF. I made it through the week without kicking myself in the butt for screwing up and not sticking to what I said I was going to do. I love lemon pepper wings, so that will be my treat on the weekends and something to look forward to. At least that will help to get through the weekend without cheating.

Meals:

b/ tried an omelet with bacon crumbles and cheese) it was delicious
l/ Broccoli and grilled chicken strips
d/ Lemon pepper wings with celery and blue cheese
s/ Sugar-free Orange jello / beef slim jims (haven't been needing snacks)

64 ozs of water or more

Exercise: 30 minute power walk after work

Thanks Magie. I ended up getting home later then expected, so I have to get a nice power walk in tomorrow.

No more Excuses!

I have a few non-scale victories that I'm proud to report. #1: I didn't allow the normal way of thinking to allow me to cave in "it's the weekend I'll start over Monday" when it came to dinner tonight. The kids got their Pizza as planned and I got my lemon pepper wings. #2: My night gown is fitting a bit looser. It feels great and I plan to continue on.

Non-scale victories will get us through this tough journey of getting the extra weight off of us. You are smart to keep those in front of you. I know my start day says "Monday" but we all know that we tend to say I will start on Monday so that is why I have that on there. Everyday and probably for the rest of my life I will have to battle this thing of weight in my life. I don't know when I'll arrive but I will know when I have. Lemon pepper wings sound delicious and glad you were able to not give into temptation(a very hard thing to do at times). Keep fighting the fight and I know you will be rewarded.

Day 6: Induction

Meals:

b/ Beef sausage
l/ leftover lemon pepper wings
d/ Arbys grilled chicken salad

Nothing new to report besides being fatigue, but that's to be expected with the detox of the carbs I use to digest.

D/ pork roast and cabbage

I'm feeling so much lighter and the bloat is gone. I know once Induction is over I need to move up the ladder this time, so I don't get bored or start to stall. I'll be weighing in again next week on my new Escali scale I received as a gift from our customer that they had leftover from one of their Today Show offers
.

Thanks Jamie! I'm so appreciative for it, even though I haven't had a chance to program it.

I'm use to the old fashion scale where you step on and off and read your weight. This one does a whole lot of measuring, lol

My week is starting off on a good note and I hope the same for you!

Day 8: Induction

It's becoming like second nature again and I'm so excited about what is to come. My co-workers keep asking "so you're continuing with your diet" huh?

My reply, it's not a diet but a lifestyle change and yes I'm still eating luscious meals and feeling great.

Meals:

b/ beef sausage and 1 cup green tea
l/ grilled chicken salad with Olive Garden Italian dressing
d/ thinking about making low carb chicken Alfredo with
broccoli and green beans minus the noodles

My water intake has been around 64 ozs, some days a little less. I'm working on getting more in along with some cardio all this week if the weather permits.

Exercise

I was finally able to get some much needed cardio in. I was determined this evening to get moving again, and I did just that. I stretched and got a good 30 minute power walk in. I'm going to do 25 squats before bed and call it a night.

Good job working out, Lyn! I dreaded starting back, but I'm committed to it now. It still kicks my butt (like I'm sure tonight's bootcamp will), but I feel like I'm getting stronger.

Have a great, healthy Wednesday!

Day 12: Induction

Meals:

b/ scrambled eggs and cheese
l/ leftover lemon pepper wings
d/ Not sure yet (but protein and veggies)
s/ Orange sf jello and slim jims if needed

Day 13: Induction (239.2 lbs) that's a 7.8 lb loss

I have to get use to this new scale, cause I'm use to evening numbers; not all this .2 stuff lol. At least the numbers keep going down.

I'm going to wing it with legal food, just not hungry right now and I don't know what our plans are for today.

Day 14: Induction (I did it)

Good Morning!

Meals:

b/ scrambled eggs and cheese
l/ probably will snack on beef jerky or celery sticks until dinner is done
d/ Beef roast and green beans

Recap: started Induction at 247 lbs (old scale) and I'm 239.2 (new scale)

I'll take some time today to look over OWL and up my exercise to keep losing and toning. Thanks so much ladies for your support each step of the way. Now the journey gets more exciting, because this is where my true strength will be needed the most. I don't want my efforts thus far to go down the drain. I want to be a success story and able to help others with weight loss issues and mental eating issues.

Non-scale victories:

Woke up feeling lighter so I slipped on some slacks (size 13) and they fit and zipped up perfect. I couldn't wear them a few weeks ago.

My flats are loose, where they were tight and so uncomfortable. This really motivates me to keep going.

The # on the scale proves progress, but there is nothing more exciting then fitting old clothing again.

Good Morning,

No matter what I try, I always end up back to square one. Which is "Low Carbing".

I've been eating certain foods in moderation, drinking only water; but I'm just NOT satisfied with how I feel. So as of July 1st, I'll be back on the wagon, full force.
