Hey everyone! Thought I should check in.

I'm still around, just have been very busy and not able to post much. My weight is around 195 right now. I wish I was in the 180's, but I've managed to keep off 90 lbs. for over a year, so I really can't complain too much!

Sometimes just maintaining is the best we can do. I have managed to keep off 50 pounds for over a year now. It's all progress.

Just wanted to post one last time in this thread before I start a new one for 2014. I know I've been pretty scarce around here lately, but I AM still trying.

Christmas was not great for me, food-wise, unfortunately. I gained 9 lbs. in 2 weeks and was 208 today. I ate more sugar and starch in the past 2 weeks than I have in the past 2 years, and I'm paying the price.

The sugar was especially bad, because it made my cravings roar back to life, and now it's HARD to stop. But I will prevail! Hope you're all doing well. I really am going to try to be around more next year, because I need it.

6/22/13: the 100 lb. loss only lasted a few weeks, and I've since regained some of the weight. Stats updated to reflect this.

When I've gained a lot of water weight, I like to weigh daily, because it usually comes off pretty quickly, and it's good motivation.

So today I am 206, down from 208.4 yesterday. My official weigh-day is Saturday, so let's see what I can get off by then! I ate pretty well yesterday. It's always tempting to undereat when you're trying to undo the damage, but that always blows up in my face.

I ate plenty yesterday, and more importantly (I think), I drank a LOT of water.
