Had a great day ! Pics I took don't show the most pretty places and best trees, they were in spots we were driving along and couldn't stop for a pic .

Hiked at least 4 miles today ! Lots of it was uphill Bet I'm sore tomorrow, but felt good to push myself and get some good exercise. ( being in a beautiful setting with weather in the 50's was a bonus )

Deer walking calmly through the campground....so pretty .

Have a good night everyone !

Tonight while I was cooking dinner, I grabbed a root beer ( I THOUGHT it was one of my Diet ones ) ~~ drank about 1/4 of it before I realized it was a REAL one !! They taste the same...... Ugh. ;/

Bought the smallest sweet potato I could find, really small...... ate 1/2 of it with steak and green beans . Haven't had one in forever, hope it doesn't mess me up !!

Food today :
eggs and bacon
steak
1/2 tiny sweet potato
green beans with bacon and onions
1/2 cup greek yogurt

I hope you post some of the pics you took, even though you don't think they represent well. I feel that way about almost all the pics I take these days (and years.) Bummer about the soda but at least you caught it before you drank the whole thing. No problemo!

I'm glad you've been enjoying hiking and the lovely cool weather and the deer meandering along. Happy for you! Way to "rough it", too! It's the only camping I'm interested in doing for as long as I live.

Have a great night, Laura.

Laura, that's frustrating about the pics. Don't sweat it. Maybe you'll have better luck when you get home. In the meantime, just have fun and take more pics to show off later! Did you get that mattress topper yet or are you just adjusting to the firmness?

hey all..

lol ! We headed over to the hot tub last night after I posted. This resort has 3 pools, 1 indoor with hot tub. Rough, huh ? lol

had some snacks last night too. Pork rinds with sour cream and my last Atkins bar ( from months ago )

Today I starved ! We were messing around and then headed into town and ended up riding around town, etc..... didn't eat for the 1st time till after 4pm ! ;/ We had fajitas with salsa, sour cream, avacado, and a little ranch dressing. ( mine on lettuce, DH's on tortillas ) Also ate a little left over cabbage with butter .

Will eat more greek yogurt tonight for snack. I just love it

GG - I didn't eat the other 1/2 - just in case ~~~
Cheryl ~ we didn't get one. think we'll just wait till they are on sale. We have actually slept really well last 2 nights .

ttyl !

That's what they say about a new mattress. That you always need to sleep on it for a week or more before they will consider even taking it back, because it's so typical to have a hard time adjusting. I think they've always made you sleep on it for 30 days which I think is absurd. Why would they want it back a month later? Glad you are getting used to it!

That's how I live my days all the time, only I usually don't eat until 8 pm or so. That's if I'm working but if I'm home, all bets are off. Then it just depends on how tempting the food in the house is to me. Today, I ate something around 4.

That RV resort sounds so tough! I'm so glad you're having a great time. Anyplace to light a campfire? Those chilly nights sound perfect for a nice fire you can gather around. A place like that probably has only designated places for those.

Fajitas rule! Tex-Mex is yummo. That's where LC shines cause if you can live without the tortilla, absolutely everything else is legal.

Have a great night.

Fixing to get a hot bath and already started washer Always have to wash......

Home! That's great that you have all that left-over food to bring with you tomorrow. That means you can spend more time just being together. I hope she finds the perfect wedding dress.

Enjoy your hot bath! Sweet dreams.

OH! Okay. Left out one of those key elements I need, like specifics! I'm easily confused, you see. Anyway this all plays out, I'm glad there will be good food enjoyed by all and that you will be having fun shopping. Sleep tight in your comfy home bed!

Weight STS .140.8 Man, I felt "lighter" and all that walking and such, clean eating, was really hoping to be in the 130's

Oh well, at least I didn't gain. Thankful for that !

"A security token"? Never heard or seen that one before in all my computing years. I hope the admins can help you figure it out. You contacted them, right?

It's weird how the body knows we are going into a new decade and makes us wait to drop down on the scale. How does it know we're measuring in lbs? Have you ever thought about that? I wonder if it's the body or something in our minds.

However, you did splendidly on your trip and STS is a good thing sometimes. It shows you will be able to maintain the losses when you get to your desired weight. Have fun shopping or "approving" of the dress she already is leaning toward and tell us all about it later on.

Loved that about snuggling with your sweetie last night.

We had a great time And, she found a beautiful dress !
The pictures on my phone don't do it justice, but they won't upload here anyway .....

Ate some greek yogurt before we left. We didn't eat until about 4pm . The Cheesecake Factory I'd never been there.... tons of carbage and expensive !
I ended up deciding on a mushroom/swiss burger -no bun and side salad. Over $13 !
And because we had 8 people ( 2 kiddos ) they added 20 % gratuity

Wow, just wow . No desire to go there again.

She picked my favorite dress. I didn't tell her which was my favorite because I didn't want her to not get the one her heart wanted, but was super excited when she got the one I loved She looked beautiful !

just had a piece of deer sausage with mustard. Never ate it with mustard. I loved it

Hope you all enjoyed your Saturday ! ttyl !

"Wow" is right! That would be my first and last time there, too. Some places have just grown "too big for their britches." It's all the name and the chain and reputation. I think their food is listed as some of the most caloric, worst-for-you food of any chain in the country. Sounds like you made the perfect choice in amidst all that chaos.

So glad she got the perfect dress. Wish we could see it but hopefully you'll get the whole picture posting thing worked out. Is it a cellphone-to-computer thing? Or a cellphone "as computer" thing? I don't think I'd ever get things loaded from my phone to the website either. I have to upload to my computer and then go from there.

That's so exciting that her favorite dress was the one that was your favorite, too. Happy times! God bless their union and your family as it expands. You all have one kick-@$$ RV to go camping in together, if you ever have the same space in time off!

Sleep tight. Dream of venison sausage with mustard.

Laura, I love how your son's fiancé picked the beautiful dress that you loved too -- that is a good sign and you have good karma and good taste to boot!

The menu at the Cheesecake Factory is so huge and overwhelming, not to mention full of high carb food. Even the salads have like a million calories. Like Cheryl said, you made an excellent choice for your meal.

OMG! Cheesecake Factory! Tasty, but totally carbage and calories! You chose wisely!

So exciting that she picked the dress you like! Your ability to stay silent during the decision making process shows us what an amazing person you are! You must have had "an inner gasp" when you first saw her in it! Best Wishes in their upcoming marriage!

Now you have to find YOUR perfect dress!

Aww... y'all are so sweet. It was such a pretty dress and she looked beautiful in all of them.

Speaking of the dress for the MOTHERS ~~ awful ~~ really looked like they were for 70-80 yr old ladies.... How many mother's in weddings nowadays are that old ????

We will shop at Dillards or something when the time comes. lol !

I wish they weren't waiting till Sept next year. I understand, but would be happy if they moved it up till spring ! haha !

Hope you enjoy a wonderful, peaceful Sunday ladies

Why are they waiting so long? Funny that you want them to hurry up. Sorry the dresses for the mom's sucked but you don't want to limit yourself to a bridal shop anyway. Think of how dazzling you will be by next September. Don't show-up the bride too much, now. Best tone it down.

They are living together ( against our wishes ) and want to pay for the wedding themselves ~ her parents don't have a lot of money ~ they bought the wedding dress and we will pay for rehearsal dinner, maybe the hall or flowers or something .....
They are saving up for it.

lol ! I won't be showing anyone up. Just don't want the sequined jacket long dresses like they had there Not my thing.
