awww thanks y'all ! I KNOW I will get back down and make it to goal. I feel SOO much better already

Got my hair done today and ran to store to load up on produce.

Have a big ole pot of stew on stove for DH
Leftover roast,potatoes,carrots,jalapenos,tomatoes,onions,g reen beans, corn. He Loves stew

Have a smaller pot on stove for ME :0
Veg soup
Zuccini,squash,onions,tomatoes,green beans,cabbage,red pepper,broccoli ~~~ or the kitchen sink without the starches

DH fell asleep while I was gone to town. If he wakes up soon, I want to go out to eat since I work the next few days and will take my soup, lunchmeat,cheese,celery etc. everyday to eat We shall see what time he wakes up. He worked last night and stayed up this morning....

soups are in the fridge. Woke up DH and we went to eat BBQ !

Food for today :

B- bulletproof coffee - 1 stalk celery with PB and 1 colby cheese stick

L - 1 slice of cajun turkey breast (deli) - 7 grapes - 4 (1/2) jalapeno poppers

S - BBQ brisket and green beans with onion and bacon

Back to work tomorrow, but this week my schedule is different, it's the week I will switch - next Tues - to DH's week. So only 3 instead of 6......woohoo !!

morning !

Back to work today for 3 - weird week for me - but glad !

Packed my lunch and dinner
Bowl of homemade veg soup
Big 'ole salad with spinach/arugula , cajun turkey breast, parm/reg, pickled okra, toasted seeds, and ranch

My mouth is watering over that salad 1st time I've bought the wedge of parm/reg !! I can't wait to eat it....won't last long around here

my 12-12 shift turned into 12- 1:15am ---------just got home , hot bath , checking in and hitting the hay.......

Food for today :

B - coffee
tuna with 1tsp mayo before I left at 11

L - veg soup

D - big salad with cajun chicken,parm/reg cheese, pickled okra, seeds,ranch
about 8 grapes

lots of tea
snack - 1 atkins bar

morning.....running late this am ! Getting ready for work.

Scale up this am 143.2 == feeling kinda full so maybe just a bathroom problem ? I was so good yesterday, maybe just didn't get enough water......will see tomorrow .

Hamb steak with sauteed onions and salad with th island dressing

Lots of UnSw tea !! I drink so much ! Gonna float away

whooooooo !!! I'm exhausted ! Super busy at work ........ Today was my last shift opposite my DH. The Dr on today in ER bought all of us ribeyes for lunch ! They were so good !

Then, when the night shift nurses came on at 7pm, they bought me supper....... not so good ! haha !! They said " WE are getting the Fried Shrimp that you love " And the guy on nights made me a homemade banana pudding - he remembered I said I love it

Oh well, I had fried shrimp , FF, and banana pudding with sweet tea ! It was great and so nice of them DONE !

Back to LC ! so glad I'm off tomorrow. This old lady needs to rest :0)

still have headache, but it's better. I have migraines and sometimes have trouble getting rid of them. Especially if it comes on while I'm asleep. When I wake up they are terrible. If it comes on during day,I take an Imitrex and it usually will go away or not get nearly as bad

Food for today
coke zero
celery with pb
1 slice of deli turkey
grapes

wings in oven ( with ranch pwd) - yummy !

Ran to town earlier and went to Health food store ( I don't know why I forget it's there) They had psyllium husks and almond flour which made my day, didn't have time to look around but I will be back. Saved me having to place an online order !

Gonna try to make the Quiznoid's tortillas.... supposed to be really good and easy and I love tortillas ! Will be great to take to work with my food and really filling Lots of fiber and only 1 carb !

DH still feels lousy .... won't go to Dr of course ( hard headed nurse that he is )

I don't know how you and hubby do it. My DH is a psych RN who works night shift and while I am used to his wacky schedule, it still gets to me at times. Gets a little lonely at night sometimes

I worked nights in psych last year and once before at another facility too. Didn't know your DH was a nurse too. How have you been feeling ?

Woke up at 2 something this morning after going to bed early....... still had a little bit of a headache I couldn't shake ( I never go to bed early ). And of course woke up in the middle of the night.......starving !! Super hungry.......had a bowl of my homemade veg soup and a beef stick. Went back to bed around 5:30 and slept till 11 !!

So......not weighing today. Having coffee and snuggled with blankie being lazy.

When do you start your new work schedule Laura? Sometimes the screwy sleep patterns that come with working nights gives my DH headaches that last for days

Didn't eat lunch.....just had bulletproof coffee.

For supper, I had made a big skillet of taco meat and I made quizno's tortilla recipe (made 3) - I just put some meat, cheese, taco sauce, and lettuce and rolled it up. It was OK, I need to season them next time I make them and make them thinner.......

Also, had one SF candy .....yummy

Will prob eat some pork rinds and sour cream here in a bit.

Walked Allie late this afternoon, only 1/2- 3/4 mile. Was fixing to get dark and my back is sore, so that always helps it.

DS and GF decided they are staying the night, so ttyl !

Well, had my coffee this am with scrambled eggs and sausage patties.

Took DS and GF out for late lunch/early supper and had a Chicken Fajita taco salad with no shell.

Gonna eat some celery in a bit and prob have another snack later tonight - don't think we'll eat supper .

Fireplace lit, DH on couch watching football. Life is good ......

Found myself wanting to munch ...... had some grapes and a small handful of peanuts and still felt "the munchies" so I just ate a bowl of taco meat with cheese, taco sauce and cheese. Full now. That will stop the urge to snack I hope.

Need to do LOTS of cooking tomorrow for my work week starting Tues. My heating element in the oven went out and new one won't be here till next week. That will make me be creative with my cooking. ??? Not sure what all I will make. I know I need to cook my asparagus, usually roast it, will have to pan fry it I guess.

Going to a new MD ( I know him from the hospital ) that is on my insurance now, and will be getting all my meds renewed.

I have had some episodes of forgetting things after taking Ambien and I will probably ask him to change it to something else. tried several other sleep aides before Ambien and non of them worked. but DH has been home when I took the Ambien before ( remember we worked opposite shifts these last few months ) and he said he can DEFINITELY tell I took something. Said I walked unsteady and everything, I didn't even remember that.

Off my b/p med and chol med so not too much to get. Premarin and Levothyroxine and my as needed Imitrex for migraines and Flexeril - muscle relaxer for my back.

Will let y'all know how it goes and if he has any ideas for sleep. On days I don't take Ambien I usually take 1 magnesium and 2 melatonin. :0 Very very bad insomnia from working shift work.......;/

Changed my Dr's appt to tomorrow. I will go before work ..it's a 40 minutes drive each way , so I decided it was stupid to go today when i'll be there tomorrow.

Walked at the park - 2 miles - this am. Back feels a little better. Thawing out fajitas for grill.

really hard to think of things to cook without an oven ! I never thought about how much I use the oven......??

I know, and I always cook tons of food the day before I return to work.
Did make chili, fajitas, and boiled some eggs. Have string cheese and there's tuna packets in my locker at work (beef sticks too )

I'll be fine. Just don't want to get caught hungry and busy at work with no way to get food I can have.

didnt write for today monda 1/14.......didn't realize I left it off. Had sausage and eggs with butter for breakfast.

Lunch/supper was beef fajitas salad with quesso
snack was pork rinds with sour cream

Went to bed in my sons's room ,his bed hurts my back the least.

Today was crazy from start to finish. Got up early and went to dr's appt and they said he wouldn't be there, that Icould see his other dr there.......who is a jerk ....... and I said ok but i still want to be considered this Drs' pt.........they said ok. I sat there and sat there while everyone else got taken right back. I got frustrated and left. Told them Iwill call and change the appt.

had extra time, so thought I would run to walmart and get the ranch wings everyone is raving about ( I made them at home ) and see what the difference is. The ones at our Walmart WERE BREADED -- ALL OF THEM !!
what a pain !

home, tired, bathed, fixing to go to bed.

morning everyone !

Beautiful sunny day here ! 42 outside ! wish I was off to enjoy it .........it's just gorgeous <3

Weight yesterday was 142.3
This am 142.6 ?? --- i ran my legs off at work , can't believe scale went up. Oh well,......did have some pork rinds and a glass of US tea about 3am. Couldn't sleep at all. Went to sleep sometime after 4:10 .that's the last time I looked at the clock. Started out in DS's bed ( most comfortable for my back ), then moved to the couch, and then on to my bed........sleepy now !!!

Having coffee then gotta get ready. Hope It's a good day since I didn't sleep much .

Thanks Jeanie ! It was a good day at work. Made it home by 1am too......so that's great. I think I will sleep better. I'm tired, a good tired.
