B: Caramel Coffee Atkins shake
L: either Chocolate or Strawberry Atkins shake
D: Taco Salad

Lots of water.

Checking in. About to go to bed because I am super tired (the kids didn't want to nap today) but I stayed with my plan of a shake for breakfast and lunch (had two shakes at lunch cause I was hungry) then my taco salad with dinner.

I had 1 bowl of salad and was full so I was able to stop instead of stuff myself silly.

I am happy I got back on track after my screw up yesterday when normally I would just throw in the towel.

Tomorrow's plan will be taco salad for breakfast, shake for lunch (I have a late morning appointment so I have to swap the two ) and not sure about dinner yet. Either grilled ribeyes and shrimp and asparagus or just roasted shrimp and asparagus.

Morning!

Weight this morning was 312.8! My ‘correction’ day yesterday seems to have worked. 13.8 lbs to go to meet my goal of 299 by Feb

Plan for today:
B: Was gonna have my taco salad leftovers but I am not hungry so I went with a chocolate Atkins shake
L: Strawberry Atkins shake
D: Roasted butter & lemon shrimp & asparagus, possibly a salad too

Hope everyone has a fabulous day

Gorgeous new avi Jinny!

I have a migraine this morning and just feel overall blah. Should be a great day! /sarcasm

Anyway, I did REALLY good last night. For dinner we decided on a leftover night (which means shrimp tonight! ) so I had a bowl of taco salad. About an hour or so later, I heated up some leftover onions and peppers and was going to eat that with some chick peas and ranch (yes, weird but it sounded good). As soon as I sat down to take a bite, I had the light bulb go off that I wasn't REALLY hungry-hungry just bored-hungry so instead of eating it then feeling guilty or getting pissed when the scale didn't move in a few days, I got up and dumped it out. HUGE step for me.

Todays plan:

B: Strawberry Atkins Shake
L: last of the taco salad
D: shrimp we didn't have yesterday

Lots and lots of water to try and flush this migraine out.

I am still on plan. Haven't weighed in a couple of days because I tend to get oo obsessive about it so I am trying to gradually wean myself down to just 1 time a week.

Todays plan:
B: strawberry atkins shake
L: going out with friends
D: probably more shrimp...it was a hit last night and the boys asked for it again

My challenge today will be lunch. I am going out with a couple of girlfriends and they chose Mexican. I am still deciding between steak/chicken combo fajitas or Camarones Monterey (shrimp wrapped in bacon, baked in butter then served on a bed of sauteed onions and topped with Monterey cheese). Since I had shrimp last night and probably again tonight I am leaning towards the fajitas. Whichever I pick, I have already decided that I will request from the get go NO rice or beans (sub a salad if they'll let me) and NO tortillas. That will keep the temptation away from me there. The chips and salsa will just be kept near the other two girls away from my reach.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Tonight's Food Porn:

Oven Roasted Shrimp and Asparagus.

Mixed 1/2 a stick of melted butter (Paula Deen is smiling somewhere), some rice wine vinegar, lemon juice, lots of garlic, and pepper then roasted in the oven till done (used the broiler for the last few minutes).

Asparagus is just a little oil, salt and pepper then roasted.

Checking in.

I was super busy yesterday with errands and school work. Today I have more school work and then a friend invited me to the gym with her. Hopefully I don't die

Yesterdays food:
B: Chocolate Atkins Shake
S: porkrinds
L: None (I was out shopping and not feeling even 'legal' fast food choices)
D: Atkins Beef Merlot frozen meal, salad with sunflower seeds, a couple french's fried onions and ranch.

I did good when I had the salad. I was just going to have the frozen meal but I was still hungry. I sat here for a bit and eyed the red velvet cupcakes I bought for Mike and the boys and instead of having one, I made the salad instead.

Today's plan is Costco, the gym and homework. Don't be jealous

Foodwise:

B: none (slept till noon )
L: Atkins shake
D: cream cheese stuffed prosciutto wrapped chicken, mashed cauli, green beans

Back from the gym!
Well, I only managed 1/2 mile on the treadmill, 30 seconds on the elliptical () and some weight machines but considering its more exercise than I have done in like 2 years I am happy with it!

Tonights dinner:

Chicken tenders topped with a bit of cream cheese, wrapped in prosciutto and baked then topped with balsamic glaze. Loaded mashed cauliflower (cauli, cream cheese, a little bit of shredded cheese and green onions) and green beans.

Morning!

Weigh in this morning was 311.4 so I am down 3.2 lbs for week two. Could have been better but I had the buffet slip up and ate a few chips at lunch a few days ago. Still not horrible though. Just need to get back to being more careful.

I am hoping I will still be able to make my goal of 299 by Feb 1.

Today's meal plan:
B: I really want bacon and egg cups but my back is sore this morning so I don't know if I have it in me to stand there and mess with them. May just end up having a shake.
L: Leftovers from last nights dinner
D: Linda Sue's White Castle Pie and salad

Went to the YMCA this afternoon and took the boys swimming for 2 hours since I had a free pass. Noah and I swam laps almost the whole time (he's gonna sleep good tonight!) I was going super slow to stay with him since he can't swim yet (he had a life jacket on) but I was still moving!

We also got a membership since they were running a special with no registration fee and 50% off the monthly rates so I am super excited. All 4 of us can go, and they have child care for the boys when Mike and I want to use the equipment or just swim on our own. They also don't have contracts or anything so we're not roped into it long term.

They have water aerobics 3 times a week which is what I am most excited about. I will still try and get on the treadmill here and there too.

I'm all gung-ho right now and told Mike 'let's go every other day!!!' In reality, I am going to start at 2 days a week and work my way up so that I don't get burn out. Plus, I still have homework too.

Tonights Porn:

White Castle Hamburger Pie from Linda Sue's site, salad with romaine, tomatoes, black olives, homemade ranch, sunflower seeds and a couple of French's fried onions on top and a pickle.

I went to bed at like 8:30 last night so I am full of all kinds of energy this morning

Todays food plan:
B: Caramel Delight Atkins Shake
L: Mashed Cauli and Green Beans (I have some leftover prosciutto chicken too but as of right now I am not feeling it so we'll see)
D: Pioneer Womans Pork Chops in Garlic and Wine Sauce, Sauteed Brussels Sprouts, Salad

I am trying to decide if I want to go back to the gym or not today.

On one hand I want to go while the gogogogo voice is in me and maybe make it an ingrained habit since I know it will slow down some once the novelty wears off but I also don’t want to burn myself out from the get go either.

If you feel like going and have the time to go, I say go. Once you start, its a pretty good habit to keep up IMO. I am in a rut right now but I used to go everyday faithfully.

I love Pioneer Woman's recipes! I still make her cinnamon rolls for my family - I can't eat them anymore, and that's a good thing.
Going to the gym sounds like a good plan to me, especially if you ease into it nice and slow. Maybe with a structured exercise plan before you go, so you won't be tempted to overdo it. Use that energy while you have it, hehe.

L: leftover cheeseburger pie, salad
D: pork chops I didn't make yesterday

I haven't been to this particular class yet, but when I did it in Vegas I LOVED it. It's a good workout but so easy on my back.

Since the class isn't till 7, I am probably just going to do it tonight with no other workout and then on weekends when I have more time I will get in some treadmill and weights as well.

Quick drive by then I need to get some homework done...they gym is screwing with my evening homework schedule so I have to rearrange it and do it in the mornings.

I am at 306.8 this morning. Down 3 lbs from yesterday. I am pretty sure it's a 'false loss' though because I have been so stressed with school and busy with other stuff that I haven't been eating much the last two days. I have probably eaten 1 days worth of food between the 2 days. So I need to get back to eating better and once I do, I am sure I'll probably see a little bounce.

I went to water aerobics last night. We did mostly arms and legs and while it didn't seem like much of a workout at the time - OMG my legs hurt this morning

We went to Wendy's after the gym last night because it was so late when we got done and I was good and ordered a double Baconater with no bun (not only did they not look at me funny, they even put it in a plastic tray and gave me a knife and a fork!) and a salad. I wasn't hungry anymore after the baconacter so I gave my salad to Mike.

Today's plan:

B: Atkins bar if I get hungry
L: Salad, maybe white castle pie
D: the porkchops I still haven't gotten to (HAVE to make them tonight or they will go bad)

Hope everyone has a great day!

Trying to balance everything is definitely a struggle sometimes (I just finished my first year of my bachelors with a 4.0 GPA), CeeCee but the end result is so worth it.

Stayed on plan today. Just got back from water aerobics and my NSV for today is I got my bathing suit on without a fight (usually I have to struggle with it in my belly area

We did stop and get the boys hot chocolate on the way home and I got an iced SF vanilla latte breve style with HWC. A lot of calories from the HWC but I haven't eaten much lately, I worked out and I NEED the caffeine so I can pull an all nighter with homework so I am okay if it causes a small gain.

Have a great night

Morning.

I went so far off plan yesterday it's ridiculous. Up to 315 (from 306) This is why I never lose weight. I am back on plan today and hoping it's mostly water weight and comes back off.

I had bad insomnia last night so I have had about 3 hours of sleep and at this point have little motivation for the gym. We'll see if it gets better. I know the boys will want to go so that might help. Hard to say no to those sweet faces

Todays food plan:
B: diet dr. pepper
L: atkins beef merlot meal
D: bunless hot dogs, coleslaw

Hang in there, we all have days where our eating is less than stellar.
I am a prime example of that today as well.
Back on plan with me right now! The water weight will melt right off.
