When I say I don't count, it's not as willy-nilly as it sounds. I have measured and counted everything I normally eat. I either have it in my tracker or on a small spiral pad that also tells me the fat percentage. So when I want a regular dinner I know I need to keep the meat and veggie portions to about 3oz, the alfredo portion is 2oz and I have certain little bowls Iíve pre-counted I put my whip in to help me from over eating that. I guess itís kind of portion control, if I measure I donít really have to count if I donít want to. It's funny I always have to have two bowls of whip. So if I'm trying to cut back on that I'll have two smaller bowls and find that much more satisfying then one larger bowl. Now Peanut butter I have a real hard time with, so I usually donít keep it in the house. Nuts I prepack in portions so even if I eat more than one, I know Iím having two portions and my brain recognizes it. But if I have to get up go in the kitchen to get another serving, a lot of times I donít. Also if I pair a serving of nuts with a Diet Dr. Pepper Iím a lot fuller and donít feel the need for more.

If you want to do a two week ďfit into our skinny jeansĒ blitz, I would consider that. We could even start a challenge if you want to get real serious. Or it could be just us. Maybe thatís the motivation we need.

yeah, i don't measure anything. you're much better than i there!

been thinking about it and think i'll just put my big girl panties on and stick with the drops and low cal/low fat for then next two weeks at least and then reevaluate.

I think I'm going to do the HF break for a little bit, just take thing a day or three at time and then reevaluate. (Will have popcorn at baseball games tho. . Have developed a love for popcorn! )

What's the HF break?

I'm doing well on first day of FF. 1685 calories - 83% fat. I had a bit too much protein with DH being home so upping the fat brought up the calories. But I should still be okay. I'm going to start working out again tomorrow.

So are you still taking the drops?

Well I was up .10. Happens once in a while and I really shouldn't be surprised with almost 1700 calories. Today I should be more in the groove.

no...my bottle is empty and i think i'll wait a little bit to open my other one.

still going to take the relacore for sure for the adrenal support. may save the Rk for when i do the drops again.

gooood morning! i KNEW you'd be down on day two!! woot, woot!

i haven't weighed for awhile. just going by clothes. it's so much less stressful that way...lol. and really, the number on the scale is meaningless to me if i am in smaller clothes, kwim?

can't get into the high fat thing...so i think i am going to attempt to just be moderate in all things. i feel like if i allow myself little treats here and there it keeps the desire to want to binge/overeat, kwim? as this is something i do struggle with. which is frustrating. so, for now, i am going to try and keep all things and be reasonable with portions.

yes, game tonight. he has 4 this week. last night he pitched. love to watch him pitch. and he got his first hit of the season....he's been in such a batting slump, i just feel so bad for him...he's just not enjoying himself which makes me sad. i actually prayed about it several times yesterday...mostly so he could just start to enjoy his time playing ball. he looks so dejected before and after games.

Sending a little & from California for Kyle. Life is so hard at that age. Every moment is so important. Wouldnít want to be back there for anything.

I KWYM about size vs scale number. I still havenít freed myself from the evil monster. This week I think Iíll give in and then perhaps go back to weekly weigh ins so the normal slow down doesnít work itís nastiness.

Ya know I used to kind of think that way. But God never said only bring the big critical stuff to him. He said to bring him all our worries and cares. So I pray about everything and thank him for everything.

thanks for your prayers, bud...mr kyle got two hits, one walk, and 3 runs! oh how i pray this is the end of his slump. it was good to see him smiling last night.

how was your day yesterday?

i want to do a fat free (all i have) greek yogurt w/ strawberries day today. indulged a bit too much yesterday. lotta salty stuffs. feeling quite poofy.

How'd the yogurt day go? You had me thinking "yogurt, yum" all day.

Still doing well with FF, 4 days -3.4. Right now this appears to be the only WOE I seem to be able to stick with. Hopefully this will continue through the weekend, the bane of my existence.

you do do well on that ff thing.

yogurt went fine, i totally don't mind it once a day, but twice is not my favorite thing in the world to do. i actually stuck to it, so that is good. i also did decide to have for lunch with my yogurt, 2T of popcorn popped in 4T coconut oil. felt the need to have some coconut oil since i was eating fat free yogurt, THAT was super yummy! feeling much less poofy and some slimmer today, so am happy about that.

No, he just pitched on Monday, coach rotates 4 pitchers. So, if there are nomrain outs, he'll pitch again Monday, I'm thinking.

He got another great hit tonight. it was caught in left field but still a great rip! He walked the other two times.

morning, bud! hope you had a fabulous weekend!

mine was good. had my 20 yr class reunion saturday night. that was fun...my every 5 yr chance to hang out in a bar. LOL! just something we never do. think we were the only ones drinking diet cokes. lol...oh well. fun to reconnect with people.

yesterday afternoon i dropped my baby girl off for a her first ever week of bible camp! she is with her bff, so they just tootled off together when it was time for us to leave.

today is our 18th wedding anniversary. *hoping* to spend it watching kyle pitch this evening, but the radar is way to 'colorful'. hope it all clears off by this evening. :/

wednesday this week, noah has his regular checkup with an MRI this time. he says, 'i know it will be fine, i FEEL fine!'

diet wise, just maintaining along....had a bit of an UUAD yesterday, but will keep things lower today.
