I think I did lose! Yea I don't have a scale to test but I can just feel it. I think my pants are fitting a little better even. Nothing drastic but just a little more wiggle room around the waist area, Mind you these pants were pretty tight on me before lol. I feel so much better mentally though. My mind feels less clouded. I feel less sluggish and more energized. This is a great feeling! I'm so use to the carbs weighing me down and making me feel terrible. Yet I kept on eating on them! Lol. no more. I'm keeping my carbs to a minimum even after I reach goal. I like hopefully for the rest of my life. I love this way of eating. Keeps me feeling so full all day. Carbs just made me want to eat more and more and more.

Went shopping today and got lots of low carb yummies! Mostly meat and veggies with a few new sparkling water flavors that I can't wait to try out. One thing I forgot to pick up though is cooking oil! I will pick some up tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Today was an extremely stressful day for me. I wanted so badly to eat bad carbs. I was practically feigning for sweets. I kept thinking about cookies and cake etc. It doesn't help that today is my boyfriends mom's bday and everyone is downstairs about to sing happy birthday to her. I don't want to go down there in fear of what I might consume. They are having my favorite type of cake and I don't want to throw away all of the progress that I have made. They probably think I'm a jerk for not coming down but I know my triggers. I know that going down there could be a dangerous thing for me. Plus I may feel like I'm obligated to eat of piece of cake once I'm down there (expecially since it's a Homeade one). My boyfriends sister wanted me to come down and look at the cake because I guess she decorated it all pretty and stuff, but he told her that I wasn't feeling well.

This far I haven't screwed up and I don't plan too. I dealt with the cravings today by eating pork rinds. I ate more pork rinds than I should have but atleast I stayed on plan and am still within my carb range for today. So that's a plus.

Tomorrow I start clinicals and I am really nervous. That little voice inside of my head is starting to taunt me and tell me that I can't do this. It's telling me that I'm incompetent and that I won't be as good as the other cna's there. This will be the first time for me in a setting like this. I have to go into a nursing home and actually care for real people! Not like the mannequins we work on in class! My social anxiety is in full gear right now. I don't know how I'm going to survive the next two weeks. So anxious.

Thanks deb! I just came back from the clinical and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be at all. I actually like it and I'm looking forward to tomorrow! I'm so glad that I did it. I have been known to back out of things at the last minute due to. Extreme fear and anxiety. But I did it! And I'm proud of myself.

Thanks for stopping by lizzie and dropping me some encouragement!

Yup I'm feeling better than ever on a low carb woe. Some of the ailments I had are now gone! I use to get dizzy a lot I guess because of all the sugar. No more and So much more energy than before. Woot!

Breakfast - two eggs five pieces of turkey bacon, and unsweetened almond milk with two tablespoons of torani chocolate syrup. Yummm
Snack - string cheese
Lunch-two turkey burgers with a slice of cheddar cheese
Dinner-hot wings and celery sticks with blue cheese dipping sauce
Snack-pork rinds and cream cheese (sounds gross I know lol)
Three slices of turkey breast Lunch meat
Slice of cheddar cheese

Ate a little more than usual today but still didn't eat many carbs. Stayed within limit. Had a few cravings today but didn't give in as you can see. When I'm craving high carb food I just eat more low carb foods. Usually something with fat that will fill me up.

I know that I said in the beginning that I would take some photos of my meals. Well I have been a bit busy with school lately and I just kept forgetting. But today I remembered!
This was my dinner! Sry about the pic being so small.

Its smoked sausage mixed with mushrooms, sugar snap peas, peppers, and broccoli with a salad on the side.

Breakfast-two pieces of ham steak and an omelet with shredded cheese, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes topped with sour cream.
Lunch-two burgers with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, tomato, mayo and avocado on top, lettuce as my bread.
snack-pork rinds
