Well after last night I might have gained more. But that is ok, because 2013 is here!

I am totaly excited an optimistic. In 2012 I learned a lifestyle of healthy living is within my reach. In 2013 I am going to take this road further and life to the fullest. I have decided to keep up a photo moment, the first of every month, in my fitness gear, to see if within 6 months you can see a change.

I am going to do regular excercise, steps, running and cycling and sit ups, at least 3 times a week. This diet is nothing without workouts! We can do this! Not within a week, but within a year I will have a different body, and a happy mindset!

My plan for 2013 has been made. And I will stick to it.

And I know I will keep coming t LCF to give and recieve support, you guys are AWESOME!

Thanks Gail! 2013 Will be our year!

Yesterday we went for the first workout of the year. Cycling. We did about 20 km, so the first burn of the year is a fact. That there may be many more to come!

I do feel the pain today tough. All my muscles hurt, I feel cold even tough it is warm enough in the house. I hope I do not get the flu, that would be bad.

The plan for today is :
- Do a lot of sewing.
- Take the cat to the vet (she is losing a lot of hair for an unkown reason, must have that checked out)
- Go to the physical therapist to work on the pain in my back.
- Try out a new recipie.

Tomorrow is going back to work, so not looking forward to that, but it has to be done. :/

Sannie, it sounds like you have a great plan in place. I wish I had taken more photos of my weight loss journey but being so fat I have hated getting in front of a camera for so long. The monthly photos are a great idea and will certainly insite and motivate you.

I hope to see a difference at some point. But as with all things good things take time.

Did another workout today, again the steps for 30 minutes. My ass miuscles are sore. I have now worked out every day of 2013! That is not a big thing, since 2013 only counts 3 days so far, but still.

Also went back to work today. It was not as bad as I tought it would be. Maby work will get better too. Who knows.

Anyway here is my first workout of the year:



As for food: Today I had eggs with bacon for breakfast
Soy yoghurt as a snack
advocado, tomato, cumcumber, salad with chicken for lunch
Sauerkraut salad with sausage for dinner.

A friend of mine gave me shape-up shoes yesterday. They should be better for your balance and you back with walking. And since I walk a lot with the dog, I have decided to give them a try. :-)

I am starting to get a wee bit obsessed with working out. But that should not be to bad, better obsessed with burning fat, than obsessed with cookies (as I was before)

Thank you Hills! Welcome here! Low carb is a great way of live, and it is so doable.

@ Frankie and Christine: do you guys work out too? It is a better obsession is it not. I always feel great when I did my workout.

Tomorrow is my sewing day (day off from my regular job) I am so looking forward to that! Going to finish a long velvet gown. (velvet is my favorite fabric) :-)

This mornings weigh in showed that I have lost 0.7 pounds since last weigh. That means I still have 1.3 pounds to go from the christmas carb fest.

Funny how two days of carbing will set back your weightloss for an entire month. That is another harsh reality check. Stear off plan, and pay for it. It is not worth it.

So I hope to be back at my stats in 2 weeks, and then more forward from there.

I did step again yesterday, but I got cramps in my leg, so I had to cut my workout short. Trying again today. :-)

Sannie, yep when you have a carbfest it can slow everything down for a while. I had the same standstill for a while and now I finally feel like I am back where I should be. The good thing is that you are losing again and will continue to lose more and more.

I am such a slacker with exercise. I walk on the treadmill some but not often. I keep telling myself I will do more but have not been motivated to do it. It is great to see you be so motivated, maybe it'll rub off on me!

I bought dumbels last week. Just one kilo ones, and used them while stepping yesterday. And it does make it all harder, sweating more that usual. So it is working! This month I already burned more callories that december and november of 2012 combined. And I love it.

Today I have a fitting of a client for a corset, and I am going to do a little sewing. It is really cold outside. Yesterday I did a little photoshoot with my sister. She is studying photography and needed some Enya inspired photo's. I am really curious to see what she will make of it. But I need to be patient. (I really suck at that)

I also bought myself a new velvet jacket last week (spending way to much money) and it was two sizes smaller that usual! That feeling is great! Granted, it could be vanity sizing, but still.

Congrats on the smaller jacket,,,isn't that a great feeling. Proof positive you are getting smaller even if you can't always see it or the scale is not moving down fast enough. You'll have to post the photos your sister took of you.

Thank you girl! I feel odd posting so many photo's here, than again, it is my journal and this is what I do with my life.

My sister has to do a thing with music and photo's, so we made a lot of photo's like this to be a slide show with an Enya song at the back ground.

But back to low carbing.

Today eating was ok.
B: Greek yoghurt
L: Salad with chicken and soy yoghurt
D:Chicken with tomato salsa.

And now for another workout. Need to burn the fat. :-)
