Today's menu: 2 Americanos with hwc hot links jalapeno fudge (recipe on ML in the Super Bowl thread) I am snacky tonight so I think I might have some sunflower seeds. I've had a calorie/fat dense day, wonder what the scale will do! |

194.0
The sunflower seeds were a mistake. I had good portion control (3/4c for 5 total carbs) but I am allergic to them so they also came with an itchy nose, headache and dehydration today. I am hoping I am solidy in the 193s tomorrow. Today's menu: 3 coffees with hwc bunless burger at Wendy's 2 mozzarella sticks dill pickle/cream cheese/turkey rollups tiny bit of pulled pork homemade beef jerky Hmmm..now that I type out my menu it is pretty sodium heavy so I don't know what the scale will do tomorrow. A lot of it was at a Super Bowl party and I didn't have much.

194.0, I am only a little bit frustrated. My hwc and cheese has been excessive so I am going to try cutting that down today and I bet the scale moves.

How much HWC and cheese are you eating? I believe those two things stall me too, but I'm not sure if it's the calories or the actual food itself. Hopefully you can sub them out for more eggs or something else and get the scale to drop for you tomorrow morning.
Maybe drop the jerky today too and have something else, like a burger or chicken. |

It varies each day, but definitely more than the 4tsp allowed for hwc and more than the 3-4 ozs of cheese! I cut down a bit today so we'll see. I also really do think I'm ovulating this time, major ovary pains and breast tenderness. Let's hope so, I'm tired of not knowing what to expect!
Today's menu: 2 coffees with hwc iced tea beef jerky 3 small cheeseburger patties with mayo I am snacky, not hungry so I really shouldn't eat but my mouth wants to chew, LOL. I am drinking water and really trying to fight the urge to eat anything else. |

Have you tried chewing gum? Sometimes when I get the chewy urge, chewing a stick of gum does the trick for me.
Also, I thought the limit on cream was 2-3T per day. That's 6-9tsp. Right? Or am I just being overly generous with myself? haha I prob don't come close to the cheese limit on most days, but that cream limit I'm definitely at or above. |

I love chewing gum but I need to find some without artificial food dyes because I have noticed a correlation with my mood/behavior and dyes. On the other hand, I worry that chewing gum all the time is screwing up my leptin levels.
And the 4tsp is from Atkins '72 which is quite a bit more strict than the Diet Revolution rules. It is basically as close to ZC as you can be, almost no veggies. The scale was finally 192.4 this morning! |

I want to see if it sticks before I change the stats! I might wait until I'm in the 180s to change them, which will hopefully be next week sometime!
I am exhausted! I took all 3 kids, plus a boy from T's preschool to the zoo today. We (I) walked a ton, pushed a stroller that had all 4 of them on it at times, LOL! I am betting I have sore legs tomorrow! Today's menu: coffee with hwc Americano with hwc cheddar cheese pulled pork cheeseburger patty with mayo celery with Ranch dip (my mouth itched after eating this, allergy maybe?) |

Poop. 193.8 today. I am a little bit sore and congested so I think the walking has me retaining a little water and the wind yesterday stuffed me up, the wind was terrible! Work day for me today so I will BBL to post my menu.

Keep strong. Remember that this is a number your body has settled at one and off for months. Its sometimes extra hard to push through those set points. And you're eating way more than you were just a week or two ago with hcg. So keep strong and have faith it will fall off soon. And yeah, I bet it's the sore legs.

193.4, feel very bloated and yuck. I forgot to post my menu last night so here it is:
coffee with hwc Americano with hwc hot links cheese stick cauliflower with ranch dip cottage cheese Gosh, I'm eating a lot of dairy! Dairy is probably my favorite food group, LOL. I bet I would get the scale moving if I cut down on it, I will try that this weekend. |

I agree. Cut the dairy in half or try a day without and see what happens.

Well, I did not have a very strict weekend like I was hoping....dinner out with a friend, wine tasting party, and a teething clingy baby all threw monkey wrenches my way. I did go off plan but am back today, 198.

You are brave for even looking at the scale. I went off track this weekend too. I had planned on being bad on Saturday for our early V-day dinner, but Saturday bled over into Sunday. It was a carb-fest.
I'm also back on track already. It feels good to be on the road to lower numbers, right? |

Absolutely, Amber! I am proud of myself for getting right back on track and at least I didn't go all out with the off plan eating. Normally I would have said, "well, I blew it and will be restarting on Monday so I might was well eat every single thing in sight and then go to the store to buy anything else that might taste good." Progress, even though it's in baby steps and even maybe two steps forward, one step back.
Today's menu: 2 coffees with hwc 2 slices swiss cheese 3 brats with mustard and sauerkraut I desperately need to go to the store but Austen is still not feeling good and he would've cried the whole time. DH is out of town (again) so I can't go tonight. We are going to my mom's tomorrow for a Valentine lunch so I will ask her to watch the kids while I run to Sam's. |

I feel the same way. If we slip less often and make our slip ups smaller each time, eventually we'll be on plan 99 percent of the time.
I hope you get some time to sneak off to Sams today. Taking care of a sick baby is never any fun. ![]() Oh, and what's the status on the house? Are you still thinking of building something? |

OMG, worst night with Austen since he was a newborn!!! That tooth had better come in today! Poor guy and poor me, I will be surviving on coffee today! I almost didn't weigh this morning because I assumed with being up all night and feeling thirsty from the brats, I would be disappointed but it was 196.4, so going the right way!
House update: we met with a new builder last Friday and he is working up a bid for us. He estimated that would take 2 weeks so we should hear end of this week or early next week. After that is in and we agree on the estimated price, all systems are GO! Cannot wait! I *should* be in my new house by fall or before Christmas as worst case scenario! |

That's so exciting on the house front. I can't imagine anything more exciting that designing my dream home and building it. I need to get back to pinterest and follow your stuff.
And yay for the weight!! Poor Austen though. Dylan never gave me grief on his teeth. I know I'm lucky about that. |

Took some time to look at my calendar and here is my plan. Right now I am happy eating LC but I am also feeling more mentally ready to do another round of hcg. The plan is to load on Feb. 23&24 and be on P2 from Feb 25-March 17. That will give me plenty of time to do another long LC stretch before doing another round in late April.
In the meantime, and this is where my current challenge will lie, I will continue with LC trying to break into the 180s. In the past, once I have decided to do a round I have just eaten whatever in anticipation of the upcoming restriction on hcg. I will not do that this time! I am also going to lean toward more of a LC load this time so I don't spend the whole first week losing load weight. |

That's exciting that you're gearing up for another round. Definitely stay focused. Two weeks before your start is plenty of time to get to the low 90s, if not the high 80s. Then you could see the 70s from the hcg!! Keep focused and determined. Also, admittedly I know nothing about hcg, but do you need to load? Can you load with a higher calorie low carb day? Or do just one day of loading? I hate the idea of it taking so long to lose the load pounds, but maybe that's an important element to success...

Amber~Loading is very important before starting hcg, it's what keeps you from starving your first few days on the diet. Fats are the only thing required though so I am thinking of doing a high fat, vlc load, especially since that won't cause the scale to jump ten pounds or so for my first week. I need to make a wishlist of things so I don't cave and load on high carb crap. If I behave myself, I think I can see 189 by the time I load.
Today's menu: 2 coffees with hwc 2 chicken thighs with skin 3 brats with mustard and sauerkraut Kinda snacky right now, might have some veggies with dip |

OMG, they are soooo beautiful!! I can't believe how big T and C look now. I guess that means Dylan looks that big now too. Scary!! And little Austen is precious. Wow!!!
If fat is the only thing that matters, then I think your plan of a very high fat, low carb day is perfect. Maybe even splurge and let yourself have a regular atkins day, if you want some good veggies for the load. At most you'll see a temporary 1-2 pound gain, just from the calories/salt, but not a real gain and nothing major that you'll be forced to relose. Starting tomorrow I plan to really reduce the dairy from my diet. |
