Sam~Congrats! That is incredible! I'm sure if you stay tuned to FB, you will see a video of her dancing. I think my sister got a better angle than I did.
I ended up doing great today, I think leaving the house and getting an Americano were key for that. It's almost 9 and other than Starbucks I've had one grissini, one clementine and one serving of protein. I had better see a drop tomorrow or I might lose it! It's making me wonder if I'm finally ovulating because I generally stall during that. Amber, Andrea, Gracie and Sam...thank you so much for talking me through this today, your support and encouragement were so helpful to me! ![]()

Can't wait to see Chloe!!
I was going to ask you about ovulating...that's certainly a possibility, isn't it? And would totally make sense for how well you've been doing! PS- the chili even looked gross People had all different kinds of noodles and they had absorbed everything so it was a big crockpot of yuck. So ![]() |

It is possible I'm ovulating or my body is trying to figure it out. My ovaries don't hurt and I'm not temping right now because I never get good enough sleep for it to be accurate. Sounds crazy, but I wish my cycle would come back so I'd have a better idea what is going on with me! |

I am feeling really, really good. If I wasn't doing back to back rounds, I would for sure be making this an extended round. I definitely won't see the 180s this time but that just means that next time I will probably see the 190s and 180s for the last.freaking.time in my life! I am looking forward to P3, my last dose is Sunday so I will probably be ready to eat P3 for breakfast on Tuesday I would guess. I need to make my shopping list!

Okay, you need to eduate me. If your last dose is Sunday, why don't you eat regular LC on Monday? Why Tuesday? Will you be counting calories with LC when you start on Tuesday to help maintain your loss for the 8 or so days you are off hcg?
It's definitely exciting that you will be in the 180s pretty soon after starting your next round of hcg!! Awesome!! |

You have to wait until the hcg is out of your system before you switch to eating P3 style, which is no starch or sugar. It is obvious when it's gone because you experience hunger again. On my last dose days, I typically only take one dose early in the morning and am ready to eat P3 breakfast in a couple days.

That makes sense. Thanks for explaining. I've contemplated and researched almost every diet under the sun, except hcg for some reason. And really, look how wonderfully effective it seems to be.
Happy Saturday!! |

I popped the kids some popcorn on the stove and I had a few handfuls, they put too much milk in my Americano at Starbucks, and I also ate a few Ritz crackers. After my weigh in this morning I almost made yesterday my last dose but on the way in to work I talked myself back into it. Only two more days, I can do that. I am hoping to be in the 193s by tomorrow morning so I am being extra cautious today. We have a bday party for my BIL tonight so I don't know what I'm going to do as far as food. I have no idea what they are having. |

My nephew came down with a high fever so the bday party was cancelled. Very glad I didn't have to try to navigate the meal, they were having Greek food and they wouldn't tell me specifics so I had no idea what to expect.
Today I have SBS (smooshy belly syndrome) and I usually get that before a whoosh so I am really, really hoping to get one tomorrow! |

I will probably be ready for P3 Tuesday morning. I am going to eat LC but I am not going to go with the whole maintaining in a 2 lb. window as written in the protocol. I have learned so much from the Weight Loss Apocalypse youtubes and so many people go ahead and continue to lose on P3 without issue. Granted, I will only be on P3 for a week so my main focus is just not to *gain* any weight. And I'm not gonna lie, I am totally excited to load again, LOL. I really think I could be in the 180s by the new year as long as I don't put on a lot of weight on my load. |

So, I actually felt hunger tonight. I hope I didn't screw myself up...I was good all day long but then around 7pm I ate 3 slices of meatloaf (it was LC at least). I am now super full so I am second guessing thinking that the hcg was out of my system. Oh geez, please don't let my weight tomorrow be up a few lbs! Guzzling water and hoping it helps!

Congratulations on being down with Round 1 dosing!!!
You did great. 20 pounds gone!! There are a bunch of people who seem to transition off of hcg to low carb JUDDD style and maintain between rounds. Maybe if you see the scale inch up more than a pound or two when you go LC, you could try adding in 2 or 3 DDs per week to help it stabalize if needed. Or just count the LC calories to make sure you stay at a reasonable level - 1500ish would prob be good maintenance levels for you. |

Amber~That is pretty much what you are supposed to do on hcg maintenance, stay within 2 lbs (+/-) of your last dose weight, so even though the scale was up today, I am still within my window so there's no need to stress. If I go over 195 then I need to do a "correction day" which is basically eating a steak and tomato. For some reason, that combo whooshes off 2-3 lbs overnight.
I started out today being super hungry, ate some cheese for lunch and had no appetite the rest of the day. Weird. I feel bloated too. |

Tucker is sick. He is the worst patient in the world. When he gets sick he is ridiculous, he will cry and scream and freak out if he can't breathe through his nose. He was up constantly last night and screaming so he would wake Austen up too. It was horrible, I got 20 min blocks of sleep in between freak outs. I hope he is better tonight/tomorrow. He wanted to go to bed at 5:30 tonight and so far, so good. He has his preschool Christmas party tomorrow so I really hope he feels better, I will be sad if he has to miss it!

Good job!!! Your weight is starting to stabilize nicely. Are you calorie watching at all or just eating LC? I'm excited for you to be doing so great!! Can you imagine that your next dose may get you to the 70ss??!!

It's really exciting for me to think about where I will be at the end of the next round! I am hoping to keep my load reasonable so I don't have too much load weight to lose. I'd love to keep it at the mid 190s so I'm in new territory really quick.

Last dose weight: 193.0 (19.4 lost)
Maintenance Weights: Day 1 194.4 Day 2 192.2 Day 3 193.8 Day 4 196.8 Boo. I did some emotional eating yesterday (LC, just ate past hunger) and had some chocolate too. I am not surprised the scale is up so today I am being very careful. We have a funeral today with a meal afterward...am I the only person who thinks it's weird to eat after viewing a dead body? I guess add that to my potluck/food issues, lol. We got our first snow last night so it will be miserable at the graveside, it's -10 windchill right now but we have a few hours so hopefully it will warm up a little. DH is a pallbearer so it's not like I can skip that part. |
