Awesome!!! Are you half way done with this round of hcg? How long do you maintain between cycles before starting again? It's pretty exciting that you're prob going to be in the 180s at the end of this one. The next could take you to the 160s...

You are *supposed* to maintain for 6 weeks before starting again but I don't do that. I figured out last time that I end up having a harder time doing that, for me it's easier to keep the momentum going and do rounds pretty much back to back. I will worry about maintenance when I'm at goal. I will start my next round on the 26th after a short break around Christmas.

I joined the Y today! And guess what? Their computers were down so they are giving me my first month freeeeeeeeeee! Yay! I won't have my first bankdraft until January! I get 3 free sessions with a trainer, which I'm dreading because I know they will weigh me and do my bodyfat, yuck. Oh well, I would love to have someone tell me certain things to do so I'm not wandering aimlessly!

Today was amazing, I had absolutely no hunger until 6pm. I made a taco salad. I did both portions of proteins as one time so I hope that doesn't mess me up, but I know getting the protein in is important. I have since eaten one grissini, not sure if I'm done for the night or not. I am tired so might just go to bed early!

I'm still ~161. Hoping for a whooshie tomorrow and the 150's. Actually, 150's anytime this week would be just lovely!

We have Chloe's first ever dance (tap & ballet) recital tonight, I am so excited! She is so tiny, the smallest in her class and she is going to be so darling! They are tapping to Jingle Bell Rock and doing ballet to Mele Kalikimaka (or however you spell the Hawaiian Merry Christmas, LOL).

Then I need to come home and bake cookies (omg!) for Tucker's preschool Christmas program on Thursday night. They want the cookies tomorrow morning so I have to do it tonight. I may just buy some so I'm not tempted but I already have a couple gingerbread cookie mixes in the pantry....hmmmmm.

oh.my.word.

Chloe's recital was about the cutest thing I've ever seen. Her shuffle step is so adorable, very exaggerated and deliberate. She fell on her bottom during the second song (those school floors are so slick!) but it didn't bother her one bit! She just hopped right back up and started dancing again.

And I bought cookies and came home and put them straight into his backpack. So on Thursday I will have to survive the cuteness of his program (he is the innkeeper in the nativity play) and cookies afterward. Afterward won't be a problem, I rarely eat when their is "community" food. I just imagine all of the dirty kitchens or cat butts on counters and that pretty much makes me anti-potluck unless I've actually been to your house and have seen your kitchen.

When I worked at the spa, I worked 8am-3pm with no scheduled breaks. I was usually too busy for a lunch and as I said, I am strictly anti-potluck. Well, I had a coworker who would always make soups and stuff and bring her crockpot for all of us to eat between clients but I never did. One day, she was in the breakroom and she said, " I was going to bring some soup for everyone today but I walked into my kitchen and my cat was peeing in the crockpot!" OMG.

hahaha...That is so disguisting!! In my old job, we used to have potlucks all of the time. I despise them. There was a lady that always brought in "the best food" according to everyone else. Well, this lady never washed her hands in the bathroom. Never. I refused to try her food because I figure if you can't wash your hands at work, who knows the state of your kitchen or cleanliness of anything. Yuck.

Good job lady!! Your body is probably readjusting after losing so quick. Hopefully you'll drop another pound or two before this round is over, but even if you don't, 16 is a big chunk towards your goal.

I know you plan to do round 2 starting on the 26th, but what are your long term plans? Will you do back to back to back to back rounds until 135? With a few days rest in between?

*sigh* I am feeling mentally weak because of the stall. I *know* that tomorrow or Friday will likely show a whoosh, but I am feeling like I want to eat low carb. Ugh. I tried making coffee but it turned out terrible (maybe I'm just not used to having it anymore?).

I am not physically hungry, but I will be home all day today cleaning house so I feel like it is going to be a huge hurdle to climb to not cheat.

Amber~My current plan is to start round 2 on Dec. 26th, Round 3 on Jan. 28, Round 4 on Feb. 25th and Round 5 on April 22nd. Each round will have about a week off, so basically I will be eating 3 weeks of the hcg menu with a one week low carb break. I am taking a longer break between round 4 & 5. I hope my 5th will be my last!

If I average 15.5 lbs. per round I should only need 5.

I'm not a community food eater either! At work today they're doing a chili dump. Who wants to dump chili into other people's chili anyway? I just don't get it.

Good job on buying the cookies Katy! Way less temptation than making them!!

Thanks for the support ladies! I decided we will get out of the house after the kids eat lunch. Tucker needs a haircut for his program and I think a Starbucks drive thru is necessary too!

Awww no cheats! I bet you'll have a woosh in the next day or two!

GROSS on the cat peeing in the soup. I sometimes eat at potlucks because I rationalize it saying that I'm sure restaurants are gross, too, and I eat in them all the time. I mean, even if employees wash there hands after they use the bathroom, they open the dirty bathroom door to get out. I doubt any of them use a paper towel to open the door, like me.

Anyway! I wish I could see a video of Chloe!!! I bet that was adorable.

Also, I was 158.6 today!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I was 159.8 and was not at all strict (had a wrap for lunch). I feel great! Although my favorite pants are now falling off of me and I'm kinda sad about that. But I guess it's a good sad, right??

Katy - how are you doing? I hope you're off having a great day with the kids and feeling more in control.
