Just popping in really quick. All is going well. Tomorrow is my weigh in (peeked this morning and ugh!). I'm sure I'll be up again, but who cares. Weight is suppose to fluctuate at times so I won't get discouraged. I need to make time to exercise. It's just so hard, because I have so much going on. My commute is so long, by the time I get home, all I want to do is jump in the shower and DIVE in my bed. I'm going to look for a Zumba class to take once a week and start swimming again too.

Well, off to do some work. Have a great day, ladies

I know you are so busy!! I can't imagine such a commute, but that is part of the big city I guess? I can sympathize though, on the weigh in as you know.. so whatever it says, it does not matter!!!!

Keep on doing what you are doing, you seem much happier, and when you can get the time to exercise, it may give you more energy, who knows.. in any case have a wonderful Tuesday!!..

Thanks Deb...I refuse to stress about this...I know what to do and how to do it - so it's time to get it done! The difference this time is that I'm not in a rush. I'm not trying to be SKINNY by the summer. I'm trying to be healthy for the remainder of my life!

Thanks Deb. I'm not talking like all the other times. It's REAL...and not following a plan per se has helped me mentally. Trying to be perfect was causing a lot of unnecessary STRESS! I can't deal....

Hey Meek, this is the only way I know how to roll. Simple, Slow Steady! Taking this thing one day at a time and not berating myself for not following a certain way but just working on getting the weight off as best I can. I could not have said it any better than Deb and Maggie! You're right, it's a lifestyle change with goal to be healthy.
Oh the commute is NO JOKE!! Did you see on the news today they said that we now have the worst traffic in the U.S? We came in number 1. I feel the same and I know part of my mental stress comes from starting the day in freaking traffic so you come in to work already stressed, go home stressed more. I used to listen to a jazz station that came on the radio that really helped but they took it off. Sorry, didn't mean to type a paragraph

Hey Shari. I kind of figure we had the worst traffic in the US. And it has gotten even worse since folks from the north and south are commuting here for work - and a lot of people have moved here from the west coast for jobs as well...smh!

I am dog tired this morning (yarn). The scale is down 1.6 from yesterday which is good! My public weigh in is not until March 1, so stay tuned .

My goal this month is to get in an overall of 10 days of 30 min exercise. This is an easy goal to accomplish for sure.

My goal for today is to get in 9 cups of water. I use to be able to drink a gallon per day, but that has decreased since it's been cold.

That is all for now. I hope everyone is having a great day. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Ladies. I came up with an idea to work out for 30 minutes every day while at work... 3, 10 minute walking sessions within and around my office building.

10 minutes of stair climbing
10 minutes of walking inside the building (this bldg is HUGE!)
10 minutes of walking around the perimeter of the building (uh, this maybe like 20 mins, lol).

I can get this done easily as I'm always taking breaks away from my office.
