What is the calm plex? Does it make you sleepy? I have been doing well the last few days, but last night I kept waking up with a panicky feeling. This ALWAYS happens to me when I doing well eating wise???

L-Theanine/GABA/5HTP Combo. Purchased through Amazon. Made by Pro-Health. It does not make me sleepy. But it does help reduce stress, anxiety - promotes calm well being. I have a tendency to over think things and stress out when it's not even necessary. I can tell it has made a difference!

Wow! First time in a long time that I didn't graze through the night! Prepared a dozen hard boiled eggs to have on hand for a grab and go snack. When I got the urge to eat, I had 2 HB eggs, but later I also had 2 oz of plain almonds. I'm pretty proud of myself and hope to keep this pattern going.

Still around, just not posting too often! I'm still at 151.8 right now. Watching carbs, calories and logging my food. Taking supplements (multi-vit/aminos/CLA/GLA ). Still eating way too many snacks in the evening too !
But I haven't gained because of it. So I guess the supplements are keeping my weight stable. I'd probably lose something if I'd stop snacking. Not hungry, just want a snack. Bad, Bad Habit. I haven't been good about the treadmill either - Shame On Me! Must work on that .

I ate the minute I got to work cause the counter was covered with bags of candy, cakes, snacks,etc......... didn't JUMP till almost midnight and I had one "turtle" ` one of my faves ~ and a bite of cake ;/ I hadn't had supper and everyone was stuffing their faces the entire shift ..........darn it, no excuse. Was in a really really bad mood so of course when I got home I ate sausage/green beans and SF tea........then of course I had a huge bowl of real ice cream with hot fudge sauce and fell into bed at 2:30 ....ugh.......

Well, March has finally arrived! Warmer, sunny weather is on the way and I can't wait! It's beginning stay a little brighter each evening and that's certainly a positive note . It's been a long cold and dull winter. BLAH !!!!!!

I'm holding my weight between 148 and 150. I'm happy and enjoying an indulgent snack here and there while keeping track of calories and carbs, etc. I know I will be able to drop a few more when I'm able to spend more time outside in the yard as the weather warms up. My attempt at treadmill walking did not last very long . I'd much rather be outside.

Still taking the amino supplements and I know they are helping with cravings and sense of well being so I'll keep them in my routine.

Make each day a good day and love yourself first !!!

My last post was optimistic that SPRING was well on the way! But .... although SPRING has officially arrived, it is still 37 degrees in Maryland !!!
NOT HAPPY !!! Where is my warmth ????? SICK, SICK and TIRED of wearing winter clothes !!!! Give me a break !!!

On a good note ... weight remains consistent between 148 and 150... so I will be able to wear slim capri pants and shorts someday ....

It's been along time since I posted! And I have gained 7 pounds! I need to get back into the game of constantly eating low-carb! Lost it since Easter!

I do not like myself right now !

I'm the only one that can fix that though !

Thanks Laura! My day started out very optimistic. I had the day off from watching the twins and decided to buy some plants from the local Amish farms nearby. Well, I found some of what I wanted at the first farm and decided to check out the next farm. While I was waiting to make a left..........I got rear-ended!!!!!!! There was a car stopped behind me and a third vehicle apparently didn't see either of us and rammed into the second car and the second car rammed into me. No one seriously hurt, Thank God! I should have stayed home! Now I have to get my car in the shop for repairs and wait for the insurance companies to get the ball rolling. I hate to depend on others to get around. Hopefully, I can get a rent a car. Feeling a little sore - hope I can get in the yard tomorrow!!!

I'm a little achy today, but it won't stop me from going outside. It's going to be glorious weather today. Lots of pollen right now - hopefully it will rain on Monday and wash it away. My porch is covered with it - my black cat is turning yellow !

The extra pounds have not decided to leave me yet! I really need to start counting calories and carbs faithfully. My neice's wedding is June 8th and I would like to be thinner by then.

Help me out girls! I know I do better when I post here and I don't know why I drifted away.

I'm going to check out your journal Gladdy.....

Beautiful day in the yard yesterday ! Put some new plants in and watered the flower beds. Washed the pollen off the porch, but it will come back as we haven't had any rain to help get rid of it .

Had 2 eggs with spinach for breakfast, lunch was a tomato. Dinner out with DH included sharing a dozen hard crabs (our first for the season-so yummy!), bacon wrapped scallops, and a side of ONION RINGS (BAD, but GOOD!), diet Coke and to end dinner ............. shared a slice of plain CHEESECAKE !!!!!!!!!!!

So totally BAD to end the dinner with the cheesecake!!!

End result: no movement on the scale - either up or down - I will commit to better choices from this moment on - Come on Susan, you can do it ! You've done it before....get back into the game and prove it to yourself !

Down 1.5 pounds !!! Better control with food yesterday has paid off.
B - 2 eggs & 6 pieces of bacon
L - a tomato
D - 2 hamburger patties & cheesy spinach casserole
snack - cheesestick, dill pickle, a few nuts

After dinner snacking is my biggest problem! If I can conquer that, I'll be much better off!

You are right Laura! All it takes is the right mind set!

153 this AM !!!! That's 4 pounds gone !!!

I had roughly 800 calories yesterday which included 20 carbs. Coffee for breakfast, lunch was a green salad and dinner tilapia with a double helping of green beans. My after dinner snack was a 115 calorie no carb protein shake and about an ounce of nuts.
