SHOCK AND AWE !!!!

I knew when I weighed in this morning that I would probably have gained something because yesterday's calories were way up compared to the previous 2 days. But...............146 !!!!! appeared on the read out !!!!!!

I have been walking 2 miles a day since last Friday and eating on plan with no snacking at night. I have seen my weight go down each day and my spirits go UP !!! Finally met my 2012 goal of losing 30 pounds - I just might change my stats and pray that this continues!

Big Hugs To My Faithful LC Cheerleaders !!!! Thank You for following me and encouraging me downward and forward !!!

If you can do brisk walks like you are already doing Leslie will be easy for you. As you can see it is not really walking per se- but lots of kicks, side steps, kickbacks, and knee ups. Just put a little more umph into the moves than she does and you get a great workout.

So I just did 1 mile with Leslie.........it is a workout! I'll try for longer tomorrow!

Took the twins on a stroller walk to day - it's 60 outside ! Only went about a mile.

Hanging in there at 146! I want so much to not see my weight creep up!
Last night I just had some shrimp with oven roasted veggies and some green beans. Woke up at 1:30 am and read for a awhile - wanted to binge on something, but didn't. Now I'm tired at 7:15 a.m. and want to go back to bed - NOT - twins will arrive very soon and be ready to Rock 'n Roll !!! More coffee today !!!

So now I know that I need to keep my calories in check (1000 or less) along with eating low carb in order to reduce my weight. I ate way too many calories yesterday although they were low carb calories. Here's the scoop:

I also want to add that I walked 2 miles each day since last Friday, but I did not walk at all on Thursday. So my weight in on Friday Am was disappointing, but expected. Personally, calories do matter to me. And apparently, I need to continue to exercise. So back to low calories/low carb for me if I want to stick the 140-145 range of body weight.

Don't feel bad, they had a "going away" party kinda for me yesterday ( I'm just going to other shift at work, not leaving ) and they brought homemade banana pudding ( my favorite ) and bought me fried shrimp and FF - another favorite.......so my scale was up this am too........ oh well,.....

You look great ! I would be starving if I ate as few cal as you do.

Thanks Gail and Laura, but I've gained back everything I lost last week! Ha! Ha! I over ate on Thursday and was really good on Friday until Friday around 9 pm. Then all H*** broke loose! Ate everything in sight !
Back to 149 this morning - so why bother? What's the point!!! I give up!!!!!

But I will regain my composure and get my head straight sooner or later.
Maybe, just maybe I'll lose 5 pounds in 2013 and keep it off


Well, it's supposed to be in the 60's today and tomorrow and I'm going outside to rake and dig and pull some weeds and create something new and do what makes me, me!

One year ago today I weighed 164.8 pounds. Today I weigh 150 pounds.
I am happy that I have made it this far, but I am not "elated" yet! I can get to 145 if I starve myself. But I never stay there.

I have been bouncing between 145 and 150 since August. And I am tired of it! I know I should be gratefully happy and not be so selfishly absorbed with this number on the scale, but truthfully.....I am disappointed. I know, I know, I sound like a brat......I'll get over it..........

Have you tried higher calories while limiting the fats? I find I am losing very well with higher protein, lower fat and around 1200 calories. Still keep carbs between 20-30 grams.The last induction I did on higher fat I lost not a pound, just a little water weight. I have been at this awhile myself and used to lose tons of weight on induction, but I guess my metabolism has changed. And you're not whining!

Hey there Jeanie! I'm trying to re-focus on my WOE..still counting calories, carbs and fat. Down 1/2 a pound today. I have not been exercising other than some hefty yardwork this weekend. It felt good to be outside after a full week of rain last week !

BTW - You are doing awesome ! I'm glad changing things up a bit has helped you see a difference! I'll get down a bit more, but I need to be patient and maintain what I have accomplished so far. My funky mood is getting better !

Four inches of snow and it's still coming down. This just makes me want to eat all day! Most "days" I do great with eating properly. Then evenings roll in and something takes over my mind and I start putting all kinds of food stuff into my body that I do not need but WANT ! Lost all motivation right now...........I used to hate January, but now I hate February too! I'm a warm weather girl and need my sunshine ! Where are you SPRING??? Please come soon and bath me in your warm glow..........

Thanks Laura! Come on up! We would have a blast! Spent 2 hours shoveling the driveway since my husband felt the need to go to work on time this morning! He could have used the snowblower - if he had stayed home! Anyway....he comes home at 5:00 and says WOW! The sun really melted the snow off the driveway! Me - You idiot! I spent 2 hours out there shoveling! Him - Oh .....

MEN!

But, I did get outside, didn't I! If it wasn't 20 freezing degrees, I would have been very content!

Hi Laura! Yes, I'm still here! Weighing more than I want too right now! 153! But, I'm getting myself back to taking care of ME! There are times when I just don't "give a care" and it's down hill from there for weeks! The winter months of the new year always make me BLAH! I think there is so much activity from Thanksgiving through Jan 1st that my mind is so occupied by everything that needs to get done and then I kinda "flat line" into numbness through January just waiting for the warmth and glow of Spring! But on a positive note: I'm reading "The Diet Cure" and learning about the supplements I need to include in my diet to help my body and mind get to optimum tranquility. It's an eye opener. I have a new pedometer and I'm on the treadmill everyday. Trying for 2 miles everyday.
Meals are good but, my evening snacking is still a big problem - so I haven't seen a drop in weight. I stopped buying the chips to have in the house for my son because I was the one to eat them. Now if I could stop buying the Fiber One Brownies and Chocolate Chip Bars it would be a MIRACLE!

sounds like your doing ok then, just the munchies at night......I get that ! That's the hardest time to want something.......ugh...... but I'm sure you'll master it and the weight will drop back off !

Hey Jeanie! This cold Maryland weather is killing me! I know you are getting your share of it too!

Started taking a potent multi-vitamin for a 50+ gal and an amino complex today. I have also been taking something called Calm-Plex for quite some time now and I know it helps keep me on a even keel. I am hoping that the aminos and vitamin help with energy and cravings for carbs. We'll see!

Maybe I can control myself during February!
