It seems we are in the same boat... I am going to try and stay under 500 as well.. Wish me luck.. right now TOM is in control.... I am never hungry in the morning and for the past few days I have been starving...

Hi Susan. Hang in there your doing fine. It just takes time. How is your flowers. I got all my seeds planted and it is storming all day today so that should get them started good.
I got off a 10 due to the rain. Going to get caught up here then take a nap before going out with the girls later.

Hello Susan! I don't know how you do it, I think I've already had 500 calories today! Two hard boiled eggs, a tablespoon of peanut butter, and my coffee with half and half. Hmmm well I was baking cookies and I was sorely tempted to try them...I guess I'll say I did ok with the eggs. My scale is reading 142.6 this morning. Aggravating.

Awesome Mary! 142 is great! I had a couple of pickles today, so the sodium is up. Too busy to take the time to drink my water...I'll pay for it.....

My little baby birds (the twins) have successfully flown grandma's nest. We have been working on transitioning them to regular daycare. And it has been a positive experience for them. I am very proud of them! I will still have them periodically during the week but not everyday. It is liberating and I am looking forward to spending more time on the things I enjoy. And of course spending time with DH since he is retired.

Smalls -I went shopping today for summer tops and new shorts! Tops are medium instead of large and shorts are still 10's.

Judy - Hope you got all that grass cut!

Hi Laura! Yes, it is good for the kids to be in daycare. They get to be with other children and learn other's rules, etc. before they have to go through the school experience. So it's all good! I get "my" life back, but I'll miss them.
I'm determined to get to 145 and stick it during June and take it from there.

Jeanne - I just shop local. Kohl's, Belk, etc. Love Chicos, but don't have one near by. I had a 30% off coupon for Kohl's yesterday. I went in to get a new bed skirt. Came out with the bedskirt, 4 new tops and a pair of white skinny jeans, earrings and bracelet! And a dress for an upcoming wedding!

Weight is 146.8 again, but I'll take it. We have a family picnic tomorrow. Roast pig on the pit! I'll be eating alot of pig tomorrow and drinking beer!

Well Food Stats for today may be off a little. I only ate dinner but then I had a small piece of birthday cake.

So I figure 796 cals, but have no idea on the carbs. Had about 9 shrimp with alfredo sauce and green beans. But the cake did me in on the carbs.

So happy! 146 even!

Today is a family party. Really 2 large families getting together for the first time to celebrate my brother's winter small wedding. His and her second marriage. So it will be alot of people and alot of food. I will try to stay as low carb as possible while enjoying the day!

I'm really getting worried about Sandy.

Party was great! Food, drinks, moon bounce, volleyball, corn hole, 2 bands - one Bluegrass and one Rock. One of my BIL is in the Bluegrass and a nephew is in the Rock Band.

Ate on plan basically, no bread, no sauce on my pig meat. But I did drink too many beers. I ran out of miller64 and had to change to corona. And I had too have a high octane lemonade concocted by my brothers! When I got home, I had a piece of cake.

Today was coffee, eggs, a few shrimp, Quest bar and steak, broccoli for dinner.
Did not log it in - lazy day.....

Will be back at it tomorrow though.

That party sounded like a real blast....and they roasted a pig how yummy.....I have only ever been to one pig roast and it was amazing...anyway you did have a good time by the sounds of it, what a lot of fun....drinking, chatting and lots of laughter, brilliant and worth the little bit of gain you had....got any pics lol....and what is a corn hole....I just imagine a bit of corn with a hole in it lol....

Corn Hole is like a bean bag toss game that is very popular around here. Teams compete in leagues. It's crazy. No body plays horse shoes anymore.

Ok so good job on the calories and carbs, but that sodium and water???? The sodium is that on the high side? Don't really know what numbers are good with that.

Yes, that is way up on the sodium. Should be under 1500 daily. I guess it was from the brats we had for dinner. I need to eat more lettuce and drink more water. My weight is slowly climbing up. 147.4 I can't have this happen again.

I slept until 7:30 am - can't believe that! I guess the ole body needs a rest.

Really hot and humid today! 80 at 7:30 am.
