I was devastated to read about your bulbs being eaten, oh my....things like that bother me for days....day to day things hardly ever bother me....but losing plants....oh that's awful...you won't feel better until you have replaced them .....so sorry to hear that though, especially if you have had them for years....good job you don't have a shotgun lol you would be out there every night trying to get the mean little critters.....I am having a problem with my cordisil plant....I can't remember how to spell it now lol, but its going yellow, it doesn't need water....going to buy it some plant food today....but that's the kind of thing that really really bothers me lol....which is why I felt awful for you with your bulbs....ok enough rambling, I am going to see how Jeanne and Judy from the SSJJ club are doing lol.

Yes - it's always, always the DH's fault! He knows it too! He always looks at me, smiles and says "that's right it's my fault" and we laugh! I'll just have to start afresh with the tulips. I don't know the plant you're referring to - is it "cordyalis" which is like a poppy?

Hey Susan I agree shoot the little varmit. I would. I am glad to know I am not the only one who can snack like that. The only difference from you to me I would have ate the whole bag of popcorn and all the other stuff. Oh by the way I went to get my car done yesterday and looked in the popcorn isle and found the kind you talked about. We must have just got it because I have never seen it before. How did you count 2 cups. Cal. and Carb wise? Good luck today. I still have to go and see how Smalls did. HEHEHE!!!

The plant is Cordyline, in Canada it is an annual, I would put them in big pots surrounded by other plants....they are big palm like plants.....over here they are perennial and grow really big...anyway I went to town, came home and forgot the miracle grow....poor plant, so it now has to wait until tomorrow. weather here is chilly today, we were going to do our beach walk but after the shops dh carried on with the dogs and I came home with red hands...brrrrrrr...... so yep it looks like a cleaning day here as well....still we will burn calories lol.

Awesome weight loss! One popcorn package makes 4 cups of popped @ 25 calories per cup. 100 calories total / 20 carbs total

I just measure out 2 cups for 50 cal & 10 carb - 1.5 fiber

It was Orville Redenbacher's Natural Simply Salted

Never had a Cordyline. Is it a container plant or in the ground? I read they like to be on the dry side. Maybe you are killing it with kindness? I often over water and watch plants wither away!

Good Monday Morning! Weight is still 155. I'll take that! I did have my popcorn and chocolate square last night. So my food stats would be up a little from what I posted. Guess what? We may get a little snow tomorrow! Can you believe it! Will the sun ever shine upon me!?! Oh well - can't trust Mother Nature.

Snow!!! wow that is weird isn't it, it was only a few days ago you were in the 70's with the sun shining....spring seems to be taking its sweet time this year, we had some nice days but now we keep getting rain, today the sun is shining but it is still chilly....I want to sit in my garden with my coffee, I actually feel like stamping my feet lol.

You are due for a whoosh my bestist friend (is that even a word lol) ....it will be tomorrow I know it....if you look back to the 12th 13th and 14th you stayed around 158...that was three days with little movement, yes I researched you to find out what was going on lol......so I think your body is doing the same thing to you.....your three days this time at around 155 is up today....so tomorrow is whoosh day yahoooo.
Hope you have a lovely day with those adorable little children....

Really snow..... I am so glad I don't live where is snows.... I grew up in Maryland and St Louis MO. I know all about that stuff.. I don't miss it.. Love living in Fl now it's a rainy week this week but my garden and orchids need it.

I agree with Sandy that your whoosh should be here soon...I will wave the whoosh fairy wand in your direction tonight before I go to bed..

Hopefully the snow will be a rain event instead. It didn't get above 40 today. Sandy - I need all the research I can get - figure it out for me, okay!?! And another "J" added to the bunch! We will need to change our logo to "Starving Jezebels" or something since we will be wasting away to nothing very soon .
And Sandy, what is your daughter's name?

Smalls - I need you to wave your magic wand for me for sure!

I will try not to have any snacks tonight, but I can't promise that it will really happen .

Daughters name is Nicola, she calls herself Nicky...(I don't lol) she has to be Nicola....I actually wanted to call her Annabel after this beautiful cow that I saw once, but hubbys name is Nick so she became Nicola, then there is a James and a Daniel....what are yours called, do you have one son and one daughter......anyway your stats are great...but you also did the 3 day thing on the 17th, 18th, 19th at 157 ...I don't think it means anything, its just something odd that I noticed....I just can't help myself in trying to figure things out lol.....I know for a fact you are going to have your whoosh tomorrow as you never do the same number more than three days in a row......glad to hear you are hopefully just getting rain now, that's what we had today, chilly and rain....stupid spring......looking forward to peeking in here tomorrow.....and Susan as for those 140's at this rate we are looking at a week and a half lol....

Update Food Stats: 672 cal / 20 carbs (ate popcorn)

Sandy - I have 34 year old Whitney and 24 year old David. And the grandkids - Emma & Mason. Nicola is a beautiful name. I thought maybe she was an "S" or a "J" name. I don't blame your DH not wanting to name her after a cow!

Still seeing "155" this morning. I shouldn't complain, but I would like to see it go down a bit more. I have gotten rid of 7 pounds this month. I'm happy about that. I guess I should stop the popcorn treat. Or get back on the treadmill.
Anyway, I'll continue to stay on plan so the weight doesn't creep back on.

You are right at least its not going up....155 is amazingly amazing.....I think our bodies have to have little rests inbetween dropping the weight....I would have salad and something to go with it for dinner tonight, every other night I am eating salad and then that's when I have my drop.....I still think we will be in the 140's by the time two weeks are up.....
34 and 24 are lovely ages....I think we are blessed, although I envy you as you see your daughter every day and I think you still have your son at home....lucky woman lol......although my daughter is coming to visit this Sunday as its Mothers day over here then....can't wait....

I just realized that I aged my kids !!! They won't be 34 and 24 until September and November! I know my son doesn't care, but DD would if she knew I had done that. Yes, 10 years apart....married twice! Second time has been much better than the first. I am really ready for my DS to be out on his own, but he is not in any hurry as his GF is out of state. But she graduates college this year and I have my fingers crossed that this will motivate him to get out on his own! I'm terrible aren't I.

Smalls - Love the name "Celine" ! She is a cutie!

Well being as we are doing ages lol...mine are 37, 35 and 30....oh my gosh am I really old enough to have kids that age...as that's how old I feel lol...ok maybe not 30 but 40 ....life is weird lol......that is a coincidence as I am on my second as well, although my second marriage now has been going 36 years....little Nicola came to our wedding lol.
It sounds like there is a good chance your son will move in with his girlfriend this year, its lovely when they have all gone....but then after ages and ages you want them home again, but then you think about it and then you don't want them home ....I go through yo yo's of wanting them and not wanting them lol....my two sons live in Nova Scotia so they aren't a bother at all lol, we tell people when we left Canada to come back to the Uk we left the kids and brought the dogs lol....I think we got it right...(just kidding)

Another similarity with us Sandy! Whitney turned 6 the day before DH and I got married. I had to throw a birthday party for her the day before she walked with me down the aisle. 28 years this November for us! And I am reading a series of historical fiction about families that left Scotland to settle in Nova Scotia in the 1800's. Weird!

Always subtract grams of fiber from your carb count to get net carbs. I always look for the food item with the lowest number of carbs per serving. This is the information my food tracker gave me from today's food:

Breakfast:
3 cups of coffee, 1 cup of almond milk, coconut oil, chia seeds, flax seeds

carbs - 4.42 fiber - 3.3 net carbs - 1.11 cal - 107

Lunch: 2 hard boiled egg whites

carbs - .48 fiber - 0 net carbs - .48 cal - 34

Dinner - 4 oz chicken meat/1 tblsp hellman's light/1/4 cup shredded cabbage/Flat Out Light Italian Herb Flatbread/1 cup cooked Kale

carbs - 25.38 fiber - 12.1 net carbs - 13.28 cal - 406

Totals:

carbs - 36.47 minus fiber 19.9 = 16.60 net carbs and 592 calories

Now I'll be honest and say that I may have 2 cups of popcorn and that will increase my carb count to 23 and calories to 662.

Sandy - I'll have to check out that author. I love books about Henry VIII and all his lovely wives. Phillipa Gregory has a series of books that got me started.
Now I enjoy any historical novel that takes me into another time and place.

The weight is sticking at 155 still and I am getting a little frustrated. I guess I will need the "Bacardi and Fish Diet" after all! Or am I in "starvation mode"?
