YES !

156.4

I'm shocked and happy! I was outside raking leaves from flower beds 10:00 - 3:30. Perfect weather - 70 degrees. Calling for 5-7 inches of snow tonight! Crazy!

I had about 6 oz of baked tilapia for lunch. Dinner was 2 chicken thighs (no skin) and 8 spears of asparagus.

I didn't have the wine last night, but I did eat 2 cups of popcorn. It's called "Fit Popcorn". 74 cal and about 6 carbs for the 2 cups and a little fiber.

I think I'll change my siggy weight !

Oh my gosh...I forgot to come back to check to see how you did this morning.....Oh my !!!!!!!! 156.4 AMAZING lol.....oh well done Susan, I am so so happy for you, now that makes me want to do a hop skip and a jump...which I did do for you at the beach, hubby thought I was mad lol...I guess it was a combination of everything including the exercise, wow that must have been tiring but brilliant at the same time, I love working in the garden when the sun is shining.....it is really inspiring and motivating to read your journal.....I can't believe you are getting snow after being at 70 degree's that is total madness...I think the world has gone crazy lol.

Today's food stats: 694 cal / 14 carb

We had our corned beef & cabbage dinner tonight. I had about 6 oz of beef, 2 cups of cabbage and one carrot. No potatoes or cornbread for me! It was so tender! Cooked it in the crock pot. Salty though - drinking extra water to compensate for that.

Thanks Sandy! I can just see you doing that hop, skip and jump for me !
It felt good didn't it! I love, love, love to dig in the dirt! I love seeing the new growth coming up that was hidden under the leaves. Today was in the low 40's. Boo! Hiss! Snow is coming. I hope my daffodils can hold up!

I knew the saltiness of dinner would get me! Up - 157.4 - not complaining though. I've had several days of the downward routine and I am grateful for it. I'll continue doing what I'm doing.

Weather report - it's 29 and we have about 5-6 inches of ugly snow outside on St. Paddy's Day! 70 on Saturday and 29 now! I am over this weather! Spring comes on Thursday right!?!

Or has it been cancelled !

Its only salt and water weight, I had that corned beef once when we lived in Canada and went to someone's house for dinner, oh it was so good, but so salty lol....tomorrow it will wash out.
Yes you definitely can't be down about that silly pound as you know its just water...and also you are out of the 160's...which is amazing, and I know you will never see that horrible number ever again.....I am definitely going to stay away from salty food lol.
You are doing so incredible right now that it is bordering on amazing lol, thank you so much for helping me, it is appreciated more than you know....I am so happy right now as its working....we will have to call this new way of eating Susans way lol.
That snow will be gone today and the sun is going to shine....you will soon be back to playing with the dirt....that is my favourite thing to do as well.....my garlic started sprouting as I hadn't put the bowl in the fridge...so I planted them....I will just about plant anything as I love playing in the dirt so much lol.
Hope your day is good with those lovely little children.

I agree! And I hope to see the scale down tomorrow. My daffodils are hanging their heads this morning. My DD is on a delay for work, so I am just sitting here waiting for delivery of the 2 wee ones. They will keep my mind off of food. Hopefully, the sun will come out and melt some of this away. Not a usual March 17th around here!

Love the pic of the snow it is so pretty....the reason you have slowed down is because you are waiting for me to catch up now lol......I still think its water from the corned beef, I read somewhere that to flush water out you need to drink lots of water....not sure if its true, but worth having a go....your spring is on its way, can't believe you had snow....
Have you noticed you feel thinner, I actually can feel it already, its an amazing feeling lol, you will have your whoosh tomorrow my best friend in the whole world lol.....

And the weight is the same - 157.4

But the good news is that I have gotten rid of 5 pounds so far this month. And the month isn't over yet. So I'll try to stay in a positive frame of mind and continue to work on the weight loss.

I think the weight has to stop for a rest at some point, the same will happen with me, I know its disappointing when that scale doesn't move....I read a great post a while ago that talked about how the fat cells at some point as they are getting emptied get replaced with water and it will look like the weight loss has slowed or stopped but it really hasn't....and then after a few days you get a whoosh as the water is emptied...I know you aren't worrying but that is what I think is happening now......keep positive....you are not on your own in this.....do not eat...do not pass go and do not collect 200.....ok I think you are fine now lol.....

Thanks Sandy! I hope it will stick! Aren't we AWESOME! I posted in NanaMary's journal for her to join us. She is very much like you and me!

Hair - a little shorter than I expected but the color is great. Why is it that when you take pictures of what you are going for and then they chop more off! It's fine though, it's only hair and will grow back. I wanted it shorter and easier because we are traveling again in late April. Tulip Festival/Amsterdam/Belgium!

Yes I agree, and thought the same thing, she keeps her calories and carbs low lol, we need a third and then we can be the three musketeers lol.

I am glad the colour came out great, I have the same issue with hairdressers, I remember one time going with my daughter, my daughter wanted her hair cut short, I wanted a trim....we were all so busy chatting and laughing that the silly woman cut a big chunk out of my hair thinking it was me that wanted it short lol.....so I ended up with really short hair that time....she was such a nice woman I couldn't moan at her lol, it didn't suit me though so was glad when it grew back a bit.....but they do always seem to cut it shorter....the good thing is you don't have to go back so soon as it takes a while to grow....by the time you go on your trip it will look amazing, if we go anywhere I always get my hair done a month beforehand to let it grow and look a bit more natural......your trip sounds lovely whoop whoop, and you will be a skinny minny by then lol.
